Beachfront holiday rentals in North Beach

This is an excellent house in an excellent location of the northern KZN coast. Beach is a small stroll away and the house is designed in a very functional way, with a big common area but very private bedrooms. One of my best finds on AirBnB.

A beautiful, spacious beach home with gorgeous views and an unspoilt beach. Right on the beach & with easy access to the beach. Secure complex. We’ll definitely be back!

The house has amazing ocean views and the sound of the waves was a beautiful background to our stay. A few steps from the beach, we had a wonderful time.

What can I say except WOW! Started off the day watching the sun rise over the ocean while enjoys a wonderful cup of tea on the two chairs dedicated to Nono and Maxime. We could then walk down to Thompson Bay beach directly from the garden. When a day in the waves was over, a short walk up the steps to the outdoor shower by the pool for a quick dip then a quick braai on the amazing stainless steel braai by the pool. To end it all, going to sleep with the doors open listening to the waves crashing all night! And in the morning, Elizabeth was there to sort out our messy dishes and Russel washed off all the kids beach toys…. I can’t recommend the place enough and hope to be back next year. Absolutely to die for. Waking up to the most breathtaking sunrises and dolphin sightings—it honestly felt like a slice of paradise. The home itself was immaculate and beautifully designed. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our host. She went above and beyond every single day—bringing us fresh coffee each morning (yes, really!), aand treating us with such genuine kindness. Nothing was ever too much trouble. It felt less like staying at an Airbnb and more like being welcomed into someone's lovingly cared-for haven. We’ve stayed in many places, but this one? It’s something special. It’s the kind of place you start planning your return to before you've even left. Can’t recommend it highly enough—we'll absolutely be back 💃

Douglas our host is fabulous, always a message away alongside Thulani our caretaker who lives on site while maintaining privacy for us guests. The facilities are more than perfect for us three adults and we slept like babies. Book the house and you will be blown away. Thank you for having us, we will come back again.

Thank you Chad for a great stay ! The location of your home is perfect and the views from the house overlooking the sea and lagoon are spectacular. It was very peaceful sitting on the deck watching the sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped but lacking a dishwasher. Overall a great experience !

We had a wonderful stay at The Cottage. The space was comfortable with homely amenities. The morning view of the ocean and the sunrise was special. We had dolphin sightings on both days that we stayed. We also spotted beautiful birds. We would definitely come back again. Thank you Bev - you have a special spot and your attention to detail made the cottage extra comfortable.

This was a stunning home that not just matched the pictures but was even more breathtaking in reality. The home was modern, clean and well maintained. Our hosts were very accommodating to our needs and were easy to get ahold of, definitely super hosts !

Wonderful relaxing stay with amazing sea views. Saw plenty of whales, dolphins and even some sardine activity. The fruit basket and bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch. The only compliant is we could not stay longer!

I HIGHLY recommend this venue. It is perfect for a small family trip. The unit is spacious, fully equipped, and even has a washer/dryer. It is just steps from the beach/boardwalk, and the host provides helpful items like beach towels and beach chairs. Just note that it’s on the top floor of the building, so pack accordingly since you’ll need to carry your bags. Loren is an excellent host, fully responsive, and so very helpful. There are multiple beachside restaurants less than a 5 minute walk from the building, and lots of rock pools and safe swimming areas along the beach. If you are looking to stay in Ballito, this is the place.

Nicely laid out space for a group-share: four independent rooms, each with an en suite full bathroom. Proximity to beach is excellent. The condo is outfitted with everything you'd need--from kitchen gear to beach towels, etc. We were a group of seven attending a wedding and had a great time in the space. Trish was also very helpful: when one guest forgot his passport in the condo, she was quick to let us back into the space well after checkout. I would recommend Trish's place for anyone looking for a fun pad to connect with family and friends, beachside.

We had the best stay at Magesh's place. I hope to return soon it's worth everything and more. Very clean and spacious, we felt comfortable immediately. Absolutely loved it.

Our Stay with Storm and Taylor was nothing short of great. The Loft was exactly as Described, very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was fully Equipped. We had a very friendly and welcoming host who was also very patient because we were running late. Provided us with very helpful information about the area. Public transportation was within a walking distance. There are shops and café and you are a walk away from Ushaka marine. A stone throw away from the beach. Not to mention very peaceful and safe area. I am Definitely staying here again.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was cozy, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the overall ambiance made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering helpful tips and making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. I truly appreciated the little touches, like fresh towels and toiletries. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers!
