This quiet TINY (144sq ft) gem, privately tucked away and yet very accessible, Cabin Unwind, has a seasonal porch, queen sized bed, a few 'kitchen appliances' and GREAT wifi. The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

The bedrooms and living room both have smart tvs. There's a full kitchen stocked with the essentials and we provide toiletries and beach towels/blanket/chairs. It's a great base camp to explore the area and just a few blocks from Empire beach!

This place is a winter and summer wonderland. Our cottage is a small 50's style with much character tucked away in the woods. We’re surrounded by the 70,000 acre Sleeping Bear Dunes. There’s plenty of skiing, canoeing, hiking and fishing, peace and quiet. We're on the boarder of Benzie and Leelanau Counties, the best of wine regions this side of the Mississippi and a true artisanal food destination It's a short drive to Honor, Empire or Glen Arbor. Traverse City is 25 miles east.

Loved our stay at the love nest! Beautiful private location. Hammock and fire pit were fun! Temperatures were a little chilly for the outdoor shower but the hot water was great. Mark and Rachel had everything well stocked. Wonderful place to spend part of our honeymoon!

The home was perfect for our family. It was clean, well appointed, lovely decor, comfortable beds and linens and tailored to make the guest feel at home. It was on the pricier end, but it was worth it to us for the comforts, and proximity to restaurants and the activities that brought us to the area. Really nice little neighborhood and very quiet. We would highly recommend this location and the host was also responsive and engaged.

Empire Beach House was amazing! The location was convenient and easy to find. It’s next to the public beach and boat launch, but noise and traffic one would expect were a non-issue—just low key, friendly locals who respected the private beach and took great pride in the natural beauty of the area. The house itself is spotless, incredibly organized, very comfortable and beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and appliances. The views from the deck overlooking Lake Michigan and the Dunes to the North and South were jaw dropping. Spent more time there than anywhere else. We highly recommend the Empire Beach House for families and friend groups of 4-6 ppl. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
