Having the use of a boat was awesome, and the lake was great for fishing. Very good sound proofing between the duplexes. Never heard the neighbors once!

The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

There’s plenty of skiing, canoeing, hiking and fishing, peace and quiet. We're on the boarder of Benzie and Leelanau Counties, the best of wine regions this side of the Mississippi and a true artisanal food destination It's a short drive to Honor, Empire or Glen Arbor. Teletha’s home was set back in the woods away from the busy road. She gave us access to her fire pit where we roasted marshmallows. The guest access to her home was private and easily accessible. There was plenty of room for two adults and three older children. Her place was a short driving distance from the sand dunes and other local attractions. I would 100% recommend Teletha and her home for anyone looking to stay in upper Michigan. She was a wonderful hostess and her place was perfect!

My boyfriend and I stayed with Bill and Val during our trip from Columbus to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Val and were given local recommendations for restaurants. Later that night, we were invited to go fishing on their boat (so kind of them!). The space was clean, had everything we needed, and was the perfect spot for our little getaway. We would highly recommended their accommodations and will definitely book with them in the future! Thanks!

Dune Hideaway: On Glen Lake with Pontoon Rental

We had a lovely, relaxing 5 days at this camp. It is simple but appears to be recently renovated. It’s not high end (the kitchen chairs are cheap plastic) but it’s clean, comfortable, and tasteful. It’s nestled on the lake with a gorgeous view. Sadly, the renovation did not include a dishwasher. Bayshore does a great job stocking the place - there are plenty of replacement supplies, including coffee. Two Bayshore annoyances: I requested a rubber spatula/flipper so the non stick pans didn’t get further damaged. Their response: I could purchase one myself. Also, you have to drag the trash can 200 yards up the driveway on Tuesday nights or “there may be an additional fee.” Still, I would stay there again.

Irina‘s house and Empire Michigan were an absolute dream! I booked this house for an extended girls weekend and it absolutely did not disappoint. Irina was responsive and very helpful with giving us local recommendations that we took full advantage of. It is a short drive to sleeping Bear Dunes national Lakeshore and I highly recommend the scenic drive in the park! we enjoyed walking through town to all the shops. We spent a lot of time in Glen Arbor as well walking through the shops and just enjoying being outside. Lots of food options in Glen Arbor! We tried Tiffany’s, shipwreck Café, rocks landing for a little bit nicer dinner setting, cherry Republic, and bear paw pizza. All wonderful places with good vibes! The house was super cozy, clean, with comfortable beds and pillows! I would love to come back with my family.

Awesome cabin in a great location. Stayed here with 4 kids and we all were able to get through showers with enough hot water and felt comfortable and spacious enough. The cabin amenities were perfect: always found what we needed to cook and clean. It is a cabin, so you get the mixed bag of cabin utensils, cooking tools and dishes. Amazing outdoor area for eating including a picnic table..and with great views. Loved that there is a bonfire pit and dock by the water. So many great locations within minutes of a drive so it’s hard to stay indoors for long. Highly recommended!
