Nikos and Miriam are ambassadors of the soul of Ikaria; vibrant, beautiful and joyful. You can see that Prosepera has worked its magic on their energy. They are also perfect hosts welcoming us with food, wine and snacks so we could just settle in and enjoy. Then there is the 400 year old stone house it is like a character from a fairy tale. It’s actually bigger than I expected and lovingly restored by the hosts. When you see so many of these traditional house neglected, its beautiful to see this one restored. It’s like stepping back in time but with modern amenities and you feel the stone house loves everyone back. I also adored the garden we had fresh food everyday and medicinal teas. Come and be restored!

We had a great experience with the beyond of our expectations in Elphida’s lovely house. It was easy to find any thing in the house what you will need during your journey in Chios. We felt ourselves like in our own home. Maybe, it will not be easy to reach Avgonyma, where is the village the house located, but when you went there and saw the sunset from the garden, you will understand that you had the best choice for accommodation in Chios. And also you will be able to reach to the “to Asteri”, which is the best restaurant in Chios, within a 30 steps by walk. In addition to all of these, as the best part of your journey, you will have chance to meet with Elphida, the greatest landlord in Chios :) Even you can not meet with her as a person, you will feel that, she will accompany to you during your visit.

This place had a spectacular view and is so close to everything happening in Mytilene. It was clean and bright and had great amenities. Given its downtown location, if you’re a light sleeper, it’s probably not for you- but that’s true of most downtown hotels, too. The host was friendly and super responsive. We had a minor local power outage and she had the issue fixed before we even experienced any real inconveniences- really superior attention was paid to us. I would totally stay here again.

Stelios’s home was a gem in Evdilos and a great base for us while we stayed in Greece for nearly a month and a half. The space is very functional for two people, with a townhouse-style design and two levels, each with balconies. The location was perfect, as it was right in Evdilos but around the curve at the port, so it was not in the middle of everything, which was great for privacy. The little “beach” in front was perfect for a morning swim or afternoon cool-off, and the location couldn’t be better, in my opinion, for Evdilos. Stelios was a great host! He was always attentive but not overly involved, and he shared insights about everything on the island of Ikaria. He even took us to our first Panigiri with his wife! It was very special to experience Ikaria with lifelong Ikarians. Thank you, Stelios, for your hospitality, kindness, and sharing the Ikarian way with us! Yamas until we see each other again! Es wahr einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Alles wie beschrieben,aber in der Realität noch viel mehr. Wir waren 14 Tage in diesem schönem Haus.Haben die tolle Außendusche genossen und die wunderschöne Terrasse und den Blick über das Meer. Und regelmäßig die Taverne unten am Strand.Gutes Essen und so Gastfreundlich.Ein wunderbarer Familienbetrieb.Haben auch fast alle Tips von Dispoina und Iannis besucht. Sie waren immer ansprechbar und unkompliziert.Zur Begrüßung gab es alles für ein kleines Frühstück und gekühlte Getränke.!!!! Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu genießen und diese schöne ruhige und entspannte Insel kennenzulernen.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We enjoyed a very relaxing week in this beautifully restored traditional house on the edge of Plomari. It’s a very short walk into the village and down to the harbour, where you can find a wide variety of restaurants and shops, and a great supermarket. There are also a couple of bakeries. The town is fascinating, both for its architecture and the layout of the little streets that climb the hill on both sides of the river. There are also a number of beaches (pebble) within walking distance, or just a short drive away. The hosts (Sally and Henry) were very friendly and helpful and have made something very special with this renovation. The interior is just as pretty, light and airy as in the photos, with much careful attention paid to the little decor details. The view from the terraces is also wonderful. You do have to walk the last 100 metres through a path along the garden to reach the house, but it’s definitely worth it! We can only recommend this house. It’s a true gem.

Excellent séjour chez Stratos, nous avons passé une semaine idéal dans ce logement ! La plage presque privée à 5m de la terrasse est le gros plus ! On ne voulait plus partir !
