Claudine is really very welcoming and guided us perfectly on nearby hikes in an exceptional site. Claudine's passion for her birthplace can only make us have a great stay, the history of the place touched us. We highly recommend this cottage and are ready to come back again.

Go there without so much as a second thought if you want all the comfort you should find in an Airbnb, if not more! No complaints, everything is perfect.

Excellent home and excellent host

This is such a quiet and beautiful air bnb. We spent 3 nights here as a family of four whilst exploring the D Day landing beaches (the gite is very close to Omaha) and we couldn’t fault anything about the accommodation. We had brilliant nights sleep every night - very comfortable mattress and pillows and very quiet area so no noise disturbance. We cooked supper in the kitchen a couple of nights - the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the authentic surroundings and the children enjoyed meeting Moby. Very responsive hosts - we would highly recommend this Gite.

The Salon de Musique is a lovely living space. It is wonderfully cool in the house. It is a nice place to stay outside under the trees. Unfortunately the WiFi connection is not always stable.

Nice little spot in Mers-les-Bains. The apartment is a little older, but was comfortable, in a great location (walkable to everywhere), and the hosts had loads of recommendations for local restaurants and activities, a lot of which we did. The apparement also had a washer/dryer which was really convenient since you have to bring your own towels for shorter stays. They were also communicative and very flexible for check in - check out!

Ideally located, the house offers charm and comfort. Very easy to live with small children. a great place to stay.

Lovely quirky old farmhouse with a fabulous garden. Loved seeing the red squirrels and hare and pleased when Hannah identified the smoke alarm sound as Midwife toads. Plenty of space for our party of 7 adults to relax together but also spend time apart. Loads of interesting places to visit within an easy drive. Wonderful relaxing holiday with great weather. Very nice accommodation, extremely well located, free parking is less than 10 minutes' walk away. The accommodation was very quiet when we went there, no noise nuisances. Delighted with this stay, I highly recommend it.

This is a lovely flat in a wonderful part of Fougères, right in the centre of everything. It’s only a very short walk to the beautiful castle and it’s scenic surroundings. Everything is within a very short walking distance, including shops and excellent restaurants. And Cherie is a very thoughtful hostess. Definitely a great place to recommend.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The home was peaceful, beautifully kept, and offered the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. The host was thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the quiet surroundings—it was just what we needed to unwind. Just a small note: there were only minimal kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, and oil, which is not a negative towards the property or host as it is totally understandable due to hygiene and allergy considerations but as we arrived on a Sunday and the shops close a little earlier, we could have been more prepared - one for others to be aware of. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and cozy retreat. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

It was a great stay at Jennifer's. The house is super cozily furnished and you feel right at home. The area is very quiet and you are quickly (5 minutes walk to the house beach / 10 minutes by car to the famous beach in Carteret) at the sea and in Barneville- or Carteret-Downtown. The house was also well located as a starting point for other highlights of central and southern Normandy (Utah Beach or Mont Saint-Michel). If we are brought to this area again, we will gladly ask Jennifer again.

Françoise and Guy were very welcoming and responsive, they were also good tips for the surrounding activities. The heated pool was a real plus and the garden is beautiful! Very nice with a family barbecue at its best. We feel that this house is made for hosting and living as a family. Thank you 🙏 We recommend it.

This might have been the nicest kitchen I’ve ever seen. The property is amazing with an outdoor seating area and a huge koi pond. It’s quite impressive. The bathroom and kitchen are updated and state of the art. There is also a washer and dryer (out of the apartment downstairs but available 24/7) with a brand new washer and dryer. There’s also a gated parking spot. Overall the place is amazing which is why I gave it 5 stars. One item to note. There is an owner who sleeps in a room under the living room. We were up playing cards at 11pm (and walking and moving chairs so I’m sure it was loud in a room below us) but he was upset and said we were keeping him awake. It made us feel like we had to be crazy quiet the other night. So overall this place is great, but if you’re night people who want to be up late walking around, note there is someone below you.
