Amazing experience. This was the very best Airbnb I have ever stayed. Felt at home. Absolutely above and beyond my dreams Anything and everything you would need from your home, they have. I didn't need to go out and purchase 1 item. The kitchen was completely stocked with all pots, pans, and more. The kindest host. Thank you for the most amazing and 1st Grandkids vacation. This place was perfect! Matthew was a great host, responses are very fast and he is very accountable. The house was perfect, looked exactly like the pictures! Highly recommend staying here, you're in the heart of VA beach and a 5 min walk to the boardwalk and ocean front with tons of food, shops, and things to do.

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend at Brian’s place. We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed some down time at the house playing air hockey, having a meal together at the large dining table and walking our dogs on the beach (a very short walk away). The dogs each had their own dog bed and the fenced in yard was a plus! Check in/out was seamless and Brian was very responsive with recommendations and answering any questions that we had. The house was very clean and comfortable and provided the perfect space for our family to make new memories.

This was an awesome location and the pics doesn't do it justice. Steps to the beach with plenty of food options in the area. The split floors are perfect for family/group trip, especially with children.

The house as advertised! Clean and very supplied. The beach was small and the area does not have much options to eat. Neighborhood was ok.

I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb! It really was above and beyond what we hoped for. You immediately feel as if you are staying in a high-end, but also cozy place. There was so much space for everyone to comfortably hang out. From starting the day on the screened in porch with coffee and reading, to playing games at the big dining room table to laying by the pool and grilling out, we could not have asked for more! They have everything you could need and more, which is a lot coming from our family who likes to cook a lot and is active! Would absolutely stay here again. Don’t hesitate to book this place. If you’re considering it… You won’t regret it!

Great location close to the beach and lots of things to do. Also quiet and walkable. The room is cozy and the view is amazing. We would absolutely stay again!

Check in was super easy, the AC was on when we arrived which was great after a long Uber. The pool felt nice and the whole backyard area was fantastic. We ended up using the bikes a lot more than we thought which was a lot of fun. It's a quick bike ride to the boardwalk and walking didn't take too much longer. Bradley was very quick to respond whenever I had a question about anything. If we come back to Virginia Beach we will definitely be checking the availability of this house!

Mark is a great host. The house is immaculate. Every little detail is perfect. By far the nicest AirBNB I have ever rented. Mark made sure everything was perfect for our visit with our son in the Navy.

We had a wonderful stay at the Great Escape. The home was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The amenities were perfect and the beach is just a short walk with easy access. Cody was a wonderful host with quick responses. Thank you for sharing your home. We made wondrful memories in Virgina Beach.

The Pool House was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and welcoming! Denise had thoughtful touches like snacks, water, and coffee ready for us when we arrived. Both she and her sweet dog Murphy made us feel right at home. We were also able to check in when we arrived in Sandbridge a little early. The Pool House was ready and waiting. We were in town for a wedding, and when a last-minute issue came up with the newlyweds’ accommodations, Denise was incredibly gracious and allowed us to turn the Pool House over to them. It ended up being the perfect space for the couple to relax for a couple of days before leaving on their honeymoon. The couple and their parents were very grateful for Denise’s kindness and willingness to help. The stress of not having a place to stay on their wedding night melted away. I would absolutely recommend staying here — Denise is a wonderful host, and Murphy is a joy! God bless you, Denise.

This rental property was the ideal spot for our family reunion of 16, ages 8 to 78. This was one of the most well-equipped properties we have stayed at. We have stayed at several rental properties in Sandbridge Beach, VA in previous years, and this is our favorite. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with essentials (coffee, sugar, creamers, paper towels, toilet paper, regular and beach towels, etc.) The kids loved the game room and outdoor pool. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong room. Two big dining tables easily accommodated our group size (8 adults at one and 8 kids at the other). The beds and pillows were all comfortable. Amy, the Operations Manager, was most helpful and very responsive to any of our questions. We plan to return to this property sometime in the future. Definitely a 5-star experience for everyone in our family.

Perfect stay for Sandbridge getaway. house had everything to make our group feel at home and entertained. we had family from 6months to 60+ and no one went without. There are games, activities, fantastic views, well appointed rooms, and close to the beach. You feel at home and we appreciated Kevin and his family sharing a slice of heaven with our family. Kevin was super responsive. Couldn't recommend more!!!!

This house was perfect for our family of six. Our sons are all tall and this house had plenty of space and beds for everyone. The kitchen was great--I did a lot of cooking and everything was provided that I needed--like pots, pans, serving dishes and the like. plenty of grocery stores nearby too. The beach was two blocks away and clean. We had an issue with the freezer/fridge and they were quick to get it fixed the same day--we were so thankful! This place was really great and we would highly recommend staying here.

The only issue was there was no propane for us to use the firepit but we found another way to fix smores.

The house was clean and felt like home. The hostess was great to deal with and very responsive. We had an excellent experience staying hear.

We enjoyed our stay at Elita’s place. It was the perfect location for our needs. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Has all the amenities we needed for our week long stay. Elita was very responsive to our questions and requests, check-in/check-out was a breeze. Thanks so much Elita!

My family of four had a wonderful stay at Gary’s place. The layout of the house is so cute/unique. The kids loved running around and checking out the space. They especially loved the enclosed sunroom. I believe Gary’s listing mentioned that he allows pets but the house was so clean you wouldn’t even be able to tell. My son has dog and cat allergies, we’d typically bring sheets from home to cover up furniture so he wouldn’t have a bad reaction. We didn’t have to cover anything up at Gary’s house! Sleeping space, bathrooms, and kitchen were all clean. Kitchen is stocked with essentials. The plastic bowls/plates were so useful for the kids! Beds are very firm, which was great for us. We will definitely try to stay at Gary’s again in the future.

House is just what we wanted and our group of 3 adults had a great time. The kitchen appears to be recently updated and is in very nice shape. We were out all day, but when we returned at night, the TVs were well setup for easy use, the beds were comfortable and we slept well. There’s a nice backyard area where I had coffee in the morning since the weather was nice. As we drove in, I realized the house backs up closer to a highway than I expected, which concerned me. But there is a tall sound barrier and I didn’t hear the traffic at all. It was quiet and pleasant. If I am ever in Norfolk again, I will be happy stay here again.

Beautiful home close to the beach with walkable restaurants/ coffee shops/ brewery/ farmers market/ Chesapeake bay. We particularly preferred the bay for calmer waters as we have young children. Beautiful spacious home. Huge fenced in yard. Convenient side spigot for rinsing fear post beach. Helpful responsive hosts. Thanks for having us!!
