Holiday rentals with lake access in Norfolk County

Reubin has a fantastic property. All details of the home are well thought out for a group with a dog or with children which was immensely appreciated. He was also flexible to add a dog to the booking due to some emergency last minute circumstances which was very nice of him!

What a lovely piece of joy! Felt right at home, multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy. Wonderfully quiet and friendly neighborhood. Communication was perfect, and check in was smooth. We will be back for more zen time. Thank you

This was the first time we have ever used airbnb. We were always a little hesitant, but we had a family gathering with 3 families and no nearby hotels and wanted to be close to the lake. If all hosts are like Steph this will be the new way for us ! She was very quick to respond to my questions and her home well exceeded our expectations. The backyard was so much fun for the family to sit and relax and try their luck with fishing. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we could need. The beds were comfy and we had fun at night playing her games. Thank you Steph for a memorable weekend .

My son is a cyclist and had a race weekend at Turkey Point. The place was perfect for the 2 of us. I was able to cook and we had real beds over my original plan to camp. The home was surrounded by trees and the porch was a lovely spot for a cup of tea to enjoy the fall colours. We will definitely book again for next year.

The Church in Normandale is an absolute gem! Well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay in a great location….a two minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute drive to Burning Kiln Winery where we took in The Sheepdogs concert…so good! We also brought our bikes which we rode to the Eco Adventure to ride some trails and walk the marsh boardwalk - highly recommend. Thanks Keith and Helen for allowing us to stay at your place and for being such great hosts. Until next time, cheers 🥂

I stayed at Lance's Pink Door Cottage in a group of 14 plus our furry companions over NYE. Our cottage experience was fantastic! Highlights: - Well-stocked and large kitchen for cooking group meals. Having 2 kitchens also meant our friend who is GF could do her separate cooking worry-free. - 4x bathrooms and 2x showers! - Hot tub was pristine. - Lovely little touches and the host left us a gift to celebrate. - Lance was extremely responsive, friendly, and quick to answer any questions. - Multiple living spaces, with lots of seating. - Floors and separate cottage sections are really well sound-proofed, for those who wanted to crash early. Some notes: - Poor cell reception, but that was totally okay since we were looking to disconnect. - Not much is walkable, so be prepared to drive to any local amenities, or cozy up in the cottage for your stay! Overall, we had a great experience, and would absolutely recommend Lance's cottage to others, especially those with large groups!

This is probably one of the nicest places we have stayed at ever, and we have done a fair amount of traveling both in North America and Europe. It was very private and relaxing which is what we needed for this trip. we liked the fact that there was next to no interference form the Owners. Amies place was perfect. Great location. Comfortable beds, great tv and sound system, very clean and all amenities. Very responsive and nice welcoming gifts. Defiantly 5 star.

Beth's place is exactly like the description and photos. Our family had a great stay (grandparents, infant and small dog). Long Point Park was within walking distance. Even though you're surrounded by other cottages - it is very private - you don't notice the neighbours. It gets VERY quiet at night so the campfire is so peaceful. We made our own meals so the kitchen/BBQ grill/firepit are very accommodating for our group. All cookware and utensiIs available. I really liked the screened in gazebo since we could eat outside and avoid the bugs (and rain!). Beth is very responsive if you have any questions or concerns. 5/5 great place and I would definitely stay here again :)

Angie's place was a last minute booking after a host on another site cancelled our original booking the morning of our check-in and we were very grateful to find Angie's place. Angie was accommodating and responsive, the property was clean, instructions for every aspect of the property were clear and available in a binder for reference when we got there, and overall we had a great time. Angie also proactively reached out to offer a later check-out time which we very much appreciated as it gave us more time to enjoy the area and have a calmer check-out. The cost for Angie's place was higher than our original booking but that was an understood consequence of booking last minute. We would very much recommend Angie's place and hope to stay there again in the future!

My stay at the Long Point Cottage was great. It’s an amazing cottage for a group weekend. There’s enough beds for everyone which is nice. The location is right on a channel that’s good for fishing and having a fire pit right next to it which is really nice, too. The house AC worked well and the whole house was cool. The hosts were also very professional and courteous with any questions I had. I would come back again!

Swanny Lakehouse was the perfect getaway.❤️ The pictures do not do justice for the beauty…inside and out. We booked the location for a peaceful getaway and we experienced one of our favorite vacays so far! We stayed over the thanksgiving weekend with friends. We enjoyed the use of the kitchen to prepare our meals and spent time indoors due to rain playing games and watching movies. We enjoyed being outdoors walking on the beach and sitting on the deck. It’s a very relaxing and beautiful place to enjoy a weekend getaway with friends.

Our stay was fantastic! The space was clean and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and feel at home. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the host was responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and well-maintained getaway. Bill’s place was exactly as described. Had a wonderful fire in the fire pit one afternoon and evening. Lots of utensils and pots and pans for cooking. Was there for a wedding in nearby Simcoe and some of the group came to spend time to relax with us at Bill’s place. Thanks so much for the use of their cottage. Mike
