Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Njarðvík

The four of us (4 adults) had plenty of room, comfortable furniture/beds and fully stocked kitchen equipment. Viðar and Bryndís are responsive and accommodating hosts. Location made city attractions (museums, churches, walking) and day trips (Golden Circle, puffin tour, sky Lagoon, Snaelfellsnes Peninsula) simple. We were always happy to return to this home that felt like an island of peace.

Stayed here with my family of four. Place is perfect. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped. Felt safe and beautiful location. Were able to see the northern lights in a clear evening.

A stay at this lovely place gives you a high-end experience, no doubt. The house is spacious, clean, well organized, has super tasteful interiors, and a hot tub as the cherry on top! I was simply left with a "wow" after check in and seeing all the small details Thorunn pays attention to. She had made sure that we would not lack a thing, and the instructions she provided us with answered litterally every questions we had during our stay. What a perfect host Thorunn is! Highly recommend✨

A beautiful and peaceful place in a neighborhood of new construction, far enough away from the crowd and tourists downtown but close enough to get there in 20min by car when desired. Easy access to the Golden Circle. Was perfect for my family and having two bathrooms was particularly nice. Communication was always quick and excellent.

Great cozy apartment just steps away from all of the shops, restaurants, and bars. Had everything you needed, including spices and condiments. Would 100% stay there again if we’re back in the area. Karen was texting with recommendations and information before we got there.

We loved the view and being just outside of the city. The apt. was super clean and comfortable, and parking was easy. Excellent stay!

This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Midtown Pleasure! The apartment was absolutely perfect for our family of four and very comfortable. The location was excellent and we felt like we were right in the middle of everything while still be on a quiet street so that we could have our windows open at night. We walked everywhere and it was very conveniently located near a grocery store, coffee shops, and everything else we might need. We found this option to be very affordable compared to some of the hotels in town and we were very glad with our decision. The apartment had everything we needed. I would highly recommend!

The apartment is in a great location and easily walkable to the downtown area or the harbor. There are quite a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk so that was convenient. It also comes with a parking spot in a garage which was a plus. We did hear some noise one night at 1:30 am from either a downstairs neighbor or from one of the businesses in the area, but that is to be expected when you are located right in the middle of everything. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were very nice to have and the washer/dryer were great.

We stayed at Gunnar’s apartment for a week during our visit to Reykjavík. The location was good and pretty central to restaurants and attractions we wanted to visit. We did rent a car which made travel much easier and the parking was abundant and not too expensive. The apartment itself was clean overall although some areas had some dust. No complaints here, it wasn’t a big deal. Gunnar did advertise that the apartment house(d) two cats but as someone with cat allergies I had no problem with any fur or cat dander. FYI, across Iceland the hot water is heated geothermically which gives off a sulfur smell, so don’t be alarmed. Thanks Gunnar, for allowing us to stay at your apartment during the week! Ken + Jenn

A very nice, well equipped apartment close to the KEF airport. Very nicely furnished and very well maintained. 2 nice bedrooms with very good blackout curtains. A full well equipped kitchen. A nice place to stay just after arriving or for the night before departure as it's less than a 10 minute taxi drive from the airport. Only downside is that there is very little in terms of restaurants within walking distance of the place. Host was clear and proactive about check-in and check-out and very responsive.

This was a great place to stay during our time in Reykjavik. It’s very easy to get to everything the city has to offer, but it is far enough away from the city center to be a peaceful quiet place to stay. We had everything we needed and more here. I’m so glad we were able to stay here, and would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

This stay was such a highlight of our trip! We really enjoyed the location in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood, right next to the bike/ walking path that you can take into downtown. Helgi and Titti are the best hosts! We felt welcomed as if we were one of their neighbors. Such a joy to hang out in the garden and drink coffees and pet their dog :) they have lots of good local reccommendations. Can’t imagine a better place to stay either as a couple or a solo traveller- can’t wait to be back one day, a very special place.

We had an absolutr wonderful stay - great location and apartment and a good place to stat, both to explore Reykjavik but also as a base to get around the island with parking and amenities close by. An extra plus for the communication and how the host made sure we had arrived and enjoyed our stay. Can only recommend!

everything was awesome at this wonderful home in the best street in Reykjavik. highly recommend if you want to be in the middle of the city and walkable to highlights. Sigrun was also a very attentive host. I would ask a coffee bean grinder and press for those looking to brew their own coffee but the nespresso was plentifully stocked!! Tip to book a bus from airport like FlyBus which is far cheaper than the 150 to 200$ it otherwise costs for a taxi.
