We loved our stay! Everything was clean and the bedroom were very nice with comfortable beds. The house had a very cozzy feeling to it. We didn’t had the right plugs for the phone charger and they were nice enough to borrow us 4. On the day of our check out we needed ice to put in the insulin container of my mom and they went above and beyond to get some ice for us, really thankful for that! Overall I would really recommend this place. Location was great too, close by to the beach and restaurants and just 1 hour away from Edinburgh

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well-equipped, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Peaceful rural area with some nice walks and local wildlife around. The pool and jacuzzi were also super clean and a great addition. Highly recommended!

I went with 12 family members and pictures don’t do justice to this fantastic spot! Absolutely would recommend to everyone. Very peaceful surroundings so many things to do inside and outside the lodge. Alan was really really helpful answered pretty much straightaway to every message I sent. Not a single cobweb in sight around the whole lodge and this place is huge! All the facilities and amenities you need are located within the house.

Fantastic cottage for 2. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Loacation is great with easy walking distance to Centre of town. Would stay again.

We used the house as a base for our motorcycle touring holiday and it was fantastic. We had everything we needed and absolutely no issues or concerns throughout our stay. Definitely worth the money and the location and parking couldn't have been better.

We had a lovely stay. The nature surrounding the property was beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was cozy and well equipped. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thats looking for a relaxing nature getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

This lovely little cottage nestled on the edge of Newtonmore is delightful. Set amongst the hills of northern Scotland, the setting is beautiful. The cottage is delightful and spacious, with beautiful gardens. There is plenty of space for a group of friends or a large family. We stayed Easter 2025 and had the most wonderful time! There is a shop directly opposite which is handy for your basics, and a Coop just 15 minutes walk away. Although small, the village has curry house, a hotel serving good food and drink (The Balavil), and a couple of tea rooms/cafes. The cottage is just a short drive from local attractions and just an hour to Inverness. Check out the highland wildlife park if you have time! All in all, a great cottage in a great location!

The accommodation was clean comfortable cosy and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and slept well . We spent most days with our family going round all the activities for the grandchildren which we enjoyed but it was good to come home to our peaceful retreat in the evening . hi, we had a great stay in October 2024. The house was so clean, tidy and welcoming when we arrived. All the facilities are up to date, the bedding and towels etc are all clean, and the house is really nicely decorated, with plenty of space for us to relax in the evenings. It felt very cosy. The hosts had left very clear information on the local area and things to do, and a great folder about the house etc. I am looking forward to our next visit!

It's very homely and comfortable, and had everything that we needed. There are some lovely walks from around Newtonmore. Check-in and check-out was really easy which was great as we had a very long drive to get there. Caroline's instructions were also really clear. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Dal na Mara literally took my breath away. I'd seen all the photos, but the reality is ethereal! I literally spent the first day looking out the windows, listening to the wind, watching the sun move across the water, islands, and mountains. I will treasure my week of relaxation and being in the moment. The home is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and creates a wonderful home for the week. Helga has thought of everything as well as the directions. I ever closed the blinds because I wanted to see the view 24-7. Private, so I didn't feel exposed. The bed was a cloud. So many places to travel see the incomparable NW Highlands as well as Ullapool. BEST TRAVEL LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATION IN 35 YEARS!!

Just returned home after a fabulous 4-day break at Cluny Mains. This is a great place for a group visit. The house is cosy and well appointed and set in a beautiful location. The kitchen is ideal for big group meals, the sitting rooms are comfortable, and both have real wood fires perfect to cosy up on a cold winter evening. The location is peaceful and perfect for beautiful walks and is perfect for exploring the national park and beyond by car (Aviemore and Cairngorm ski centre are approximately 30 - 45 minutes away). Chris is a very attentive host who communicated with us well before our arrival and was on hand to provide us with any assistance and recommendations for activities and local eateries. I would not hesitate to recommend Cluny Mains to anyone looking for comfortable and peaceful accommodation in this area. We hope to return in the future.

Our party of 6 had a lovely stay at Rachel & John’s place. The house was beautifully presented and very comfortable with everything we needed. It was a great base as part of our 10 week driving tour of Ireland and the UK. Rachel was a very warm and responsive host. Many thanks for allowing us to stay!

Rock Cottage was a great ‘study camp’ for my daughter in the run-up to her exams. The house was immaculate and very much a home from home. The beds were very comfortable. The highlight, though, is outdoors - the wild garden is enchanting and full of bird life - we loved sitting in the sun room watching the swallows outside, followed by the bats at dusk. It’s in a very peaceful location but only a short drive to Kenmore or Aberfeldy for shops and restaurants. We’d love to be back!

We are four friends who spent a week together in Nairn in the Marine Cottage right on the beach. That you can see out of the kitchen door directly to the beach, and from the dining table you can see the sea, we found it wonderful! We often cooked in the well-equipped kitchen of the cottage. Also with the layout, with the three bedrooms, the two bathrooms and the beautiful living room with the fireplace, the cottage suited us four women well and was very comfortable. We had a nice week by the sea in Allasdair's Marine Cottage! And we will definitely come back!

We had 4 nights at Ryan’s place with our two dogs. It was a great base to go hiking at various places with short and well connected travel by car. Ryan’s home was stunning. It was extremely well presented and very comfortable. The main bedroom was incredibly relaxing with a huge bed and vast and spacious room with a lovely en-suite attached. We’ll be back again if ever in the area!!

What an amazing place this was. Right on the loch, peaceful, private and had everything you would need. I didn’t want to leave.

Gayle is an amazing host - friendly, responsive, thoughtful. Her house is beautiful. I loved the birds, and took great pleasure in watching them visit the bird feeders. Her place is well located - private, with parking, and easy to get to - and out and about. I will most definitely be looking to book again.

My family where lucky enough to be able to stay at Birchwood this week. The property is amazing. If you are looking for a quiet location, but with good access to all that the Cairngorms has to offer, then this place is perfect. The property is furnished to a high standard, with comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities. Kitchen is well equipped, with everything thought of and provided. The grounds are secure, but if you want direct access to the woods, then you can have that too. My family loved heading out each day, then returning to relax in the comfortable lounge with the log fire. It became our home from home. Our hosts were very helpful and prompt to respond to any questions. We really hope that we get a chance to return.

Such an amazing house in a beautiful location - waking up to the changing view of Schiehallion each day was a real treat. Cosying up by the fantastic log burner was a lovely way to spend the evenings.

We stayed here over the Easter holidays with our 2 children, the house and surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, so peaceful and the children loved exploring, the house is within driving distance to Aviemore, Rothiemurchus, highland safari, Cairngorm mountain railway, loch Morlich beach where we could rent row boats and canoes, then to be able to come back to a beautiful peaceful house. We will definitely come back again and again, thank you for a wonderful base to make our trip so special.
