Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Newfoundland

I've been using the air bnb app and staying at Airbnb's for a long time, and I have to say that Peggy and her beautiful inlaw suit apartment were nothing short of amazing!!! 5 stars across the board! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From booking last minute and having a late check in, from arriving on a midnight flight into St. John's. To having car rental issues, the next day with no where to go for a couple of hours, I wasn't having such a great day, but Peggy was very accommodating and understanding of my situation and offed me a late checkout time to help me out. I highly recommend booking with Peggy if you're in the St. John's area and need somewhere to stay that's clean, quiet and cozy with the sweetest host! also, did I mention a great price! I will definitely book a stay at Peggys place again in the future if I am in need of a place to stay in the St. John's area! 🙂

The apartment is beautiful and bright. There are mirrors everywhere with funky decorations (murals on the walls, theatrical lighting). It's a lovely place to stay. I spent lots of time just sitting in the window seat with a cup of tea, taking in the view of the harbour.

Pat’s space was awesome for our 3 night stay. Close to downtown (walkable if we wanted- but we didn’t) out of the hub-ub of downtown- nice residential area. Appreciated the loan of lobster cracking tools for our meal of lobster at “home”. Liked that we had dedicated parking spot. Nice to have an in person chat with Pat and Bill. We would definitely recommend this space to others. Clean, spacious and nice and bright and even had an outside space we could use.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay at Mike and Leslie’s apartment at back of their home and down about 6 or 8 steps. Liked the bigger windows. Did not feel like we were in a basement. Everything was nice and clean. Bed was so comfortable. It was easy to drive any where in Gander from this location. We walked from the apartment to Cobb’s Pond and around the 4 km easy walk. Birds were plentiful. Mike provided code in a timely manner for check in and was quick to respond when we messaged and checked in with us part way through our stay to be sure we had all we needed. We would recommend this location for a stay.

I have frequently used this location for my overnights in the region and it never disappoints. very quiet location comfortable bed and more. highly recommend

A really well-appointed and spacious place, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Quiet location, really comfortable bed and lovely views from the deck over the garden towards the bay. Denise is a nice lady and very helpful (and the dogs very friendly too!)

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We couldn’t believe how big of a place it was. She had everything you could think of, provided. It’s the cleanest air bnb I’ve stayed at, that’s for sure. It was a bit tricky to find as we were not familiar with the area and we had trouble with having service. We called Max who gave clear instructions and helped us out. Highly recommend.

Dales place was so cute and comfortable. The hot tub area was an added treat. Beds were comfortable. Definitely a place to go back to.

We recently stayed at Puffin Perch for a mini staycation, and it was truly the perfect escape. Nestled in the quiet and charming town of Heart’s Content, the Airbnb offered breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that helped us completely unwind from our busy schedules. The interior of the home is beautifully designed, elegant, cozy, and equipped with smart appliances that made our stay extra comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows were a highlight, offering stunning views that brought the outdoors in. The weather was in our favour, which made everything even better, from morning coffee with a view to peaceful evening strolls in the lovely community. It was such a refreshing experience for both me and my wife, and we’re already planning to return, maybe for a longer stay next time! Highly recommend this gem of a place for anyone looking to recharge and relax.

We enjoyed the peaceful area.The apartment was supplied with more than we expected which was nice , coffee , cleaning products and many other staples that if you forgot anything were available.A very thoughtful hostess who goes above and beyond and that is comparing to other Airbnb we have stayed at.

Beautiful views from the house! We enjoyed watching the boats and people hiking signal hill. Very quiet and peaceful while only taking about 10-15 minutes to get to downtown St. John’s! The parking was a bit tight and overwhelming but luckily the house is far back so we got used to it by the end of our stay.

The Northern Bay Beach House was exactly as advertised. Our group really enjoyed cooking, eating, and hanging out in the indoor common spaces. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The beach access and hot tub were of course a highlight. Would definitely recommend for a trip to Northern Bay.

We were so grateful for this peaceful and quiet stay after a long day of travelling! Perfect location, 10 min drive from the Port aux Basques ferry, with beautiful scenery nearby. Ken and Liz’s place was absolutely spotless and we appreciated all the small touches to make us feel at home. Only wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area!

We really did not like the black sheets and pillowcases. White looks so much cleaner. I am assuming these were clean but black is a Nono in bedding.

Beautiful stay, was very well kept. Restaurant next door was delicious and great atmosphere. The view was breathtaking!

We loved our stay it was clean and had everything we needed the host even dropped of a shower chair for my 82 year old mom. She touched base with us to make sure everything was good. I recommend this place. we will stay again if we stay in cornerbrook in the future.
