It was very cool to stay in a house with a historic past and family ties. Nicely renovated, comfortable and cozy. Great location for travel to L’Anse aux Meadows and St. Anthony’s for day trips. Check out the thrombolites in Flowers Cove minutes away. Would stay here again.

The pictures do NOT do this beautiful little place justice! It was perfect in every way. So clean with lots of character! Loved being on the ocean road and watching the sunset and Iceburgs from the deck.

We loved staying at Lucille’s! We have stayed at many Airbnb locations but this by far was our favourite. The location is excellent just a few steps from the wee harbour at Quidi Vidi. A beautiful oasis at the back where you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet! The amenities are top notch and the welcome basket was just what we needed after a day of travel. So many thoughtful touches made us feel like we were home. Thank you Lucille we will be back!!

Absolutely gorgeous place with a view of an iceberg right out the bedroom windows! Angela was a great host and also shared the history of her home with us which I found to be fascinating! Would absolutely stay again.

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs over the years, and this was by far the best one, especially for the price. The place was spacious enough for our family of 2 adults and 2 small children, and the surroundings were beautiful. It was very close to the lake, in a private area, exactly like a nice summer cottage. Marcella left a ton of snacks, fresh bread, eggs and milk in the fridge, and there was even coffee, tea, cereal and oatmeal in the pantry. I cannot say enough good things. The space had everything we could have needed and more, and felt just like home. Husband kept saying it was paradise indeed. Our kids loved it and we were just sad we couldn’t stay longer. Whoever stays here won’t regret it!

Wow what a wonderful weekend we just had at this beautiful getaway! It was perfect for us. The air bnb inside was beautiful everything was so clean and comfortable. The outside WOW unbelievable. We literally spent the entire weekend enjoying the beautiful backyard only to go in to get ready for outings and to sleep. The view was beautiful, the pond was full of ducks which was beautiful to see, and in one of the large trees in the backyard was a crows nest with babies we would sit there and watch the momma go get food and come back to feed them. We felt like we were in a world of our own. It was so private and peaceful. You couldn’t hear a sound just the noises of nature which was beautiful. We started our day with morning coffee outside and ended our night with a lovely dip in the hot tub. It was perfect I couldn’t have asked for anything better. We didn’t need to contact the host for anything as everything you needed plus some was there at your fingertips. We will be back!

The Marble Saltbox is absolutely beautiful! A nice spacious, clean and cozy home in a gorgeous little community. Martin was wonderful to deal with, very accommodating and helpful! I’d highly recommend booking a stay at this beautiful home!

We absolutely loved staying here! It was an unbelievably beautiful place, right down to every decoration. There were detailed instructions which left us with little to no questions. Such friendly hosts, they even left me a card as I was staying to attend my university convocation. The place was peaceful and we felt safe in the area. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with my sister and her husband. The space was perfect for us all to fit. The spa tub was very relaxing after a long hike. We loved it! Clean and beautiful! The sunsets off the balcony were to die for. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had coffee and everything we needed. Kayla gave some good hike recommendations. Seaside restaurant is just a couple mins walk along the water and was delicious. Would def stay here again!

Love staying at Trudy’s place. It is a beautiful place that is always spotless. We have stayed here multiple times and look forward to our next visit. Hopefully it will be available when we need a place again. Thanks so much to Trudy for everything.

The accommodations are a two bedroom apartment with well appointed kitchen. It was wonderful to do a load of laundry on our trip. The hostesses had a bottle of wine, snacks, homemade bread and jam as a welcome treat! Couldn’t have picked a better facility to call home base as we explored Bonavista!

What can we say? This was our third time staying at Kathie Anne’s place and it continues to be fantastic. See our earlier review from 2022 for a more complete description. We will stay here again in the future.

Julie’s place was perfect for us. Even though we didn’t use it, it was nice there was a washer and dryer to use. It was a sweet gesture of Julie to have little snacks and drink for us when we arrived. Julie’s Airbnb was about 10 mins to the airport. And we loved the late checkout so we didn’t have to rush and could relax before our flight home. I also recommend going to Rustlers Family Restaurant, the Newfie sampler was very good. It’s really close to the airport too. I would recommend Julie’s Airbnb and would stay here again if we are ever in St. John’s again.

Host was very kind, we arrived to some homemade biscuits. Place was exactly as we expected based on photos and amenities and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook ourselves a meal
