What a brilliant spot for the May long weekend! The Merganser chalet was pure bliss and was everything we could have expected and more. Definitely worth a stay if you are in Port Blandford!

If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy the view, this is the spot. My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend and this met all of the expectations.

Great place to stay! Beautiful sights and a lot of activities to do for kids. The view of the pond is gorgeous! Very responsive host and I will definitely be back there again!

Daniel's place was absolutely perfect. It has absolutely everything you could need, and more. We had a great time and would go back again without hesitation. Added to that, Daniel was both responsive but also incredibly flexible and understanding. Thanks so much!

The chalet was beyond our expectations! Very peaceful and a beautiful hidden gem. We needed a place to unwind and relax and not worry about life and what time of day it was and this place has it all! The art work is absolutely stunning!!Beautiful view of Island Pond from the fire pit spot too a gorgeous nite sky from the hot tub!!

A wonderful weekend in a beautiful area with friendly locals. Secluded, peaceful, bright & cozy, and with everything you could possibly need at your finger tips - 'The Birdhouse' has it all. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or winding down at the end of each day, the beautiful view of the ocean through/a top the trees was so relaxing. Being able to bring our fury family member who enjoys a 'get away' as much as us is always greatly appreciated. Thank you to our hosts. Definitely hope to return. Dion & Wanda

My mom and I stayed at this Airbnb for a weekend and it was beautiful! Spotless, private, quiet, and had everything you needed! We were so impressed. Especially loved having our coffee on the deck with a view 😊👍

What an amazing cabin in the perfect location to enjoy a peaceful vacation away from all the noise. The fall colours were unreal and was the perfect backdrop for the pond view. Chad was an outstanding host. This is a must do if you are looking for a quiet Newfoundland get away. We’ll be back for sure!

Lovely wood cabin (rustic, like the name suggests) but with all the amenities to make for a peaceful stay. And the view onto Tors Cove Pond (lake? 😉) is just stunning! Wish we could have gone in; next time perhaps!

Wonderful week in the community of Gallants. Scenic place to walk along the river and bird watch. The cabin was completely renovated; clean, comfortable and matched the pictures. I’ll be booking another week on my way back home in a few months! 10/10.

Amazing little off grid cabin in the woods, exactly what we were looking for! Off the beaten path for sure, but still close to town. The instructions were perfectly clear, dirt road is just that, so for us exactly as expected. Take note in the description that the cabin mostly runs on solar (heat is separate, a smart feature!). We arrived on a rainy day so we did not have power but since we had been camping we were totally fine with this! And it was remedied promptly once we let the host know. Absolutely recommend for those looking to unplug but still have a couple creature comforts. Would book again!

An absolutely stunning spot! We brought our kayaks and made great use of the pond! Everything was super clean, and had lots of amenities. Bethany was a great host, responsive and friendly!

The swim spa/hot tub house alone made this trip well worth it! But the cabin was absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed spending time in both. The beds are super comfy, it has a wood burning fire place for those cold nights, the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. The loft area was fabulous. The large covered deck with bbq was great for the drizzly day we had. But that hot tub! That was something else! Highly recommend and we will be returning!

Stayed there for one night...it was absolutely peaceful, the boyfriend and I felt right at home. Loved the hot tub! The scenery was gorgeous. I would highly stay again in the future!

Great place to stay in Rocky Harbor. Walking distance to everything in town. Place (or should I say cabin) had all the modern day amenities one would need for a few days or week long stay. Our stay was two nights. Just be aware while washer and driver is available, you will need some coins to use them Easy drive to Gros Morne park for hiking, walking, picnicking, or just viewing various bodies of water. One of the better places we have stayed on this trip in Newfoundland.

We booked last minute and late at night but we were not disappointed! Thanks again
