Location, location, location! We enjoyed our time right at the lake with the kayaks and SUPs provided. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the fantastic views!

This was our third time staying at Paula's place, and it feels like a second home. It is our first choice of place to stay when we travel to Seattle to visit our family, and I recommend it to all of our friends who are going there.

Stunning! We saw bald eagles flying right in front of us and Orcas swimming in the channel- all from the seaside deck and hot tub! The indoor space is just as pristine, very clean and nice- but the highlight is the outdoor area for sure. Not to mention the location made it very easy to explore the island and more. We highly recommend Kevin’s place for anyone staying on Bainbridge. Better yet, cancel your Seattle plans and stay here instead. Thank you Kevin!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was central to so many sights and places to visit. It felt safe and secure, tho we were unfamiliar with how the door lock worked initially. The space felt open and clean minus small things like baseboards and doors. I appreciated the coffee and very clean linens. The only thing that was slightly unexpected was that the listing said laundry was In unit. Which is technically true but you must contact the host to have her let you into the private utility area of the house to use it. Also, you can hear the family upstairs but they also do pass by a door that is connected to the living room. It was quiet but startled us the first time.

A friend recommended staying at Barred Owl Cottage for a local wedding - and the recommendation did not disappoint! Jim and Chris were superb hosts and the cottage is so cute!! I really appreciated the excellent communication prior to and day of our arrival, including the PDF of all the great things to do in the area. The back porch of the cottage overlooking the woods was our favorite part! Check out was also a breeze and we will definitely recommend Barred Owl Cottage to anyone who needs a place to stay when they are on Whidbey!

All in all, 5 stars! When Gregg realized I wasn’t going out for dinner & did not bring food with me he made a very kind gesture of bringing over pho cupnoodle. Bonus stars for the beautiful dog, and letting me cut my visit short due to a change of plans. Would recommend.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you Annette! House is cozy, beds are comfy, view is phenomenal. Everything was clean and in working order, except the jacuzzi pump went out shortly before I arrived. Annette graciously refunded me 10% of my nightly rate and provided cash for a day pass at the athletic club. Despite that we still really enjoyed the home.

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage— 5/5 stars all around! The place was super clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was really nice and peaceful, and we felt right at home the whole time. The host, Thomas, was very responsive and helpful, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a lovely experience staying at David’s home. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and kind, and even left us a bag of coffee! Check-in was smooth and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend if you are looking for a place in Seattle.

my partner and I stayed here for a long weekend trip to the Olympic/Seattle area. it was close enough to Kingston to ferry into Seattle and close to a bunch of beautiful spots on the peninsula. Super little/cozy cabin that has all you need. Martha and Noah were super friendly and helpful for things to check out in the area.

Brenda is an incredible hostess. the apartment was charming and cozy, supplied with cooking paraphernalia and spices and other supplies. the bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment quiet. Brenda checked in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay with her our next trip this way.

Nick has a perfect spot for a quick stay before a flight out of SeaTac. Easy peasy!

Perfect location for visiting North Cascades & Seattle. Close to many wineries. Convenient for taking public transportation to downtown Seattle (caught bus to monorail at Redmond library). Comfort beds, lots of blankets, private location, beautiful surroundings! Appreciated laundry facilities! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

My husband, our pup and I had a great weekend stay!! Devin had thought through everything. There were lots of nice touches from automatic nightlights in the hallways and bathrooms to almond rocas in the kitchen. He was extremely responsive and even shared some of the amazing raspberries growing in the yard with us. The apartment had all the essentials and the bed was super comfortable as well. The neighborhood was very cute and safe!! We took long walks to and around Lake Washington both days. There were also a couple of cute restaurants/coffee shops near by that made grabbing a quick breakfast/dinner easy. Looking forward to staying again when the Sauna is up and running!

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Beautiful condo, full of amenities, comfy bed, gorgeous views. Perfect for longer stays. We were only there for a couple of nights, making it hard to justify all the air BnB fees, but not the hosts fault. Would certainly rent again when we have longer time to visit my grandsons.

The place was perfect for our vacation stay in Seattle! Excellent central location for walking to the most commonly visited tourist spots. We took full advantage of the courtyard and gym. My son said he slept "way better" on the pull-out sofa than he did in our earlier hotel stay. The place was clean and comfortable. Being met and provided instructions at check-in was helpful and checkout was a breeze.

Ian's place was great. We enjoyed spending our evenings with family after the days adventure. The pool house and outside patio are amazing we all really enjoyed it. The house has anything you need and communication with Ian was prompt and easy. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Gayle was very quick to respond. Her condo is in a secure building. It was spotless. Great location - walkable to all attractions. She let us drop off our luggage prior to check in ( we were coming straight from Alaska Cruise). She called us as soon as the unit was clean and told us we could return. I would stay at Gayles Place again.
