Beachfront holiday rentals in Newcastle

Lorna is a fantastic host, very responsive, with great attention to detail. The house is beautiful, ideally located within walking distance of Portrush and Portstewart and includes all the necessary components to instantly make you feel right at home. This was our first trip away with our 6 month old and Lorna’s house and hosting was major factor in us having a wonderful time. We can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend in Portstewart to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The location of Sara’s place is outstanding with amazing views over the promenade and seafront. We were able to walk to a local restaurant for dinner the first night and just a few steps away for breakfast both mornings. Parking is available nearby and the area seems very safe. The apartment is well equipped and also very clean. We hope to return in the future.

We stayed here with 2 little babes for a wedding for 3 nights, and it was the perfect spot to explore. The town was lovely, and within walking distance to beautiful beaches and little cafes. Also, a very short drive to the Giants Causeway which was lovely to see. The apartment was spotless and felt so clean, which was so important to us with our little ones rolling around on the floor. It was perfect, thanks so much for having us. xx

Beautiful house very close to a beach, super easy to find and very clear instructions for the check in!

We just returned home from a weeks stay at Carols Coastguard Cottage and we are already planning on when to go back. While I’m sure the beautiful weather we had for our stay was just a blessing, the cottage was the perfect place to decompress for a week. The peace that came from sitting outside under the canopy, listening to waves while watching and making friends with the shore oath walkers (and their wonderful dogs) was exactly what we needed. But if you don’t feel like interacting, it’s very easy to just keep the gate closed and sit in a perfect solitude oasis. The walk to the village was very easy and we were delighted with the many options for meals, our favorites being Sozo and 6-3-1 and of course The Sipster, which we spent a wonderful night getting to know a group of locals who all knew of Carol and how amazing she is. I could go on forever about how great this place is but I only have 90 characters left so I’ll just say book now, you won’t regret it at all.

beautiful house, peaceful area,near the beach. very big and comfortable kitchen, everything is perfect, 2 big reception room and 3 big bedrooms. we really enjoyed our stay. we will definitely come back. thank you for your warm hospitality. Best air BnB house we ever stayed. Thank you Ashley ❣️🥰

I think the photos don't do this house justice - it was better than I expected! Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. And Coney Island is always wonderful!

Great location. Walking distance from shops and historical sites. The house has been very much decluttered from the pictures which was nice. Enjoyed our stay in this unique town.

Absolutely lovely apartment, stunning views, Peter and Holly were tremendous with communication and provided us with some fresh bread, eggs, butter and a bottle of wine, informed us of everything we needed to know and made some great recommendations for food and sites. We had a thourghly enjoyable time, the views and facilities were great. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved being able to see seals (through binoculars). Coastal views are beautiful. House had all amenities listed. Rachel was accommodating and responded quickly.

Just love this place, Have been before and definetly be back. Linda is so Friendly and Cassie is just a joy to be around. Everything is exactly as pictured and the views are magnificent. Great place to clear your head and get some peace and calm.

Beautiful apartment with lovely views. Accommodation was spotless, had everything you could need and you can tell the host takes great pride in her property. Ann Marie was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Thanks to Christine for being responsive and flexible and a great host. Really enjoyed our stay; the location is so peaceful and it is hard to believe it is so central. The view is worth the trip alone and our dogs loved the garden. Everyting is as described and would not hesitate to recommend and have done so already.

Absolutely beautiful venue set on the beach front, over looking Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Suzanne's communication was fantastic, the house was immaculate and equipped with everything you could need for a perfect get away. We cant wait to be back.

Really enjoyed our stay in Dundrum. Flat was well positioned to see the Bay and the Mournes. Easy access to surrounding countryside and great bus connections to Newcastle and beyond. Dundrum has a handy convenience stores and excellent restaurants and cafes.

Location was fantastic and Amy was really helpful, particularly providing a travel cot and giving tips for blackout blinds. The house was spotless and our boys loved the board games provided. Catching sunset from the living room was special.

Perfect location for our family holiday with easy access to the attractions of the NI coast. Having its own private parking out the back was a real bonus. We used the ready access to facilities in Portrush and enjoyed many walks over Ramore head and the variety of weather conditions encountered. As for the house it was ideal with plenty of room to accommodate our large group. There’s plenty to do in the house with videos galore and the Vegas room to experience. We didn’t do it justice as there’s so much to see outside in the location. Chris is the perfect host meeting us on arrival to explain the facilities, the sites to see, local amenities and main attractions within easy reach. He was also very responsive and helpful to the few enquiries that we had . An all round nice experience had by our family.

We had a lovely stay at this property. It was clean, tidy, and the bedrooms were especially comfortable—perfect for relaxing. The space felt welcoming and well thought out. It’s so close to Ramore and Portrush Main Street was perfect to wake up and walk to the park and grab coffee. A few small touches could make it even better, but over all we had a very enjoyable stay. We’d happily return!

What a fabulous house and location which surpassed all our expectations. We just loved staying in the house.

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect for a large group. Peaceful, though close to bars, shop and restaurants. A beautiful home, well equipped, and with a fabulous view, we will definitely return again

The house was a great size, it accommodated two families very comfortably. We had a great experience!!

Beautiful views and a beautiful location to stay. The house had many bedrooms to accommodate a large family and many bathrooms so getting ready was a breeze. Had some issues finding the key to get in initially but the host was very responsive and helped us mitigate that problem. There was a water leak in the kitchen and the host sent someone to fix the problem the same day. Close to many restaurants and fun attractions! Great stay overall!

Beautiful location with children with the beach right across the road. Close to a beautiful park at a local hotel also . Quiet yet amidst all you need . Street parking close by. Highly recommend 💖
