We had a wonderful stay at the Brave Bear cottage. It was very peaceful and quiet. The cottage was clean, appointed nicely and well kept. This cottage is a keeper for us and we plan on returning in the future.

I wanted a relaxing, quiet, comfortable getaway… this house gave me just that! The photos don’t do this place justice. The decor is gorgeous. So many airbnbs don’t have this part right. For me, personally it’s important to be surrounded by beautiful things/environment especially on vacation. The feng shui feels perfect because the energy is high vibrating. The trees, nature, and being close the lake made my experience magical. Great location, adorable house, super comfy bed/bedding, excellent customer service. The host was very kind. Easy and fast communication. Honestly, I was sad to leave. I’ll be back again soon. :)

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Haymaker Homestead. Although I brought a lot of extra toys for our grandchildren to play with, they did not even need to get into those as they enjoyed so much free play running outside & explore the beautiful yard. We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was even larger than we expected, and the bathroom was very nice. We spent much of our time cooking, and the compact kitchen was perfect for preparing meals. While there was no conventional oven, we had everything we needed. We saw plenty of wildlife, including cardinals and deer, which was a highlight. Donald was very responsive to our inquiries, and we appreciated the quick replies. We highly recommend this stay and would love to return!

We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Hill house! It’s tucked away in one of the most scenic and peaceful parts of Lee County, VA. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Both bedrooms have king-size beds with cozy bedding, ceiling fans, and thoughtful touches like USB-equipped touch lamps and blackout shades. The living room is inviting, with comfy seating, a large Roku TV, and great lighting. The kitchen is very well stocked, and we appreciated the provided coffee and condiments. There’s a dual coffee maker with both pot and pod options—pods included! Outside, we enjoyed relaxing on the back deck while admiring the view. The covered carport area with a firepit table was a great bonus. The bathroom was clean and cute, with plenty of towels, and the washer/dryer was super convenient. The hosts were incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for a peaceful, comfortable getaway! Location on Google Maps

Heron’s Hideout absolutely exceeded our expectations! The location couldn’t be more perfect—just a short walk to the lake, which made it super convenient for morning coffee by the water and evening sunset strolls. The views are truly stunning, with peaceful nature all around and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that made it feel like a true escape. The amenities were top-notch! The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the outdoor seating area and the cozy touches throughout the home. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of care into making Heron’s Hideout feel special.
