The nature around the place is absolutely beautiful, and the quietness made it feel like a real retreat. Thank you for such a lovely atmosphere. We’d be happy to return someday!

Lina and family were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. When we couldn’t figure out the fire table she was so quick to help us figure it out— to be very clear, it was definitely user error lol. The location was beautiful, the hot tub was divine. It was the best way to spend my 30th birthday. We are so impressed with the whole experience. Thank you times a million to our sweet host. :)

Our second summer stay was just as wonderful as the first. More familiar this time, so the whole family felt right at home. Chris was once again very warm and welcoming in his communications. Look forward to our third stay next year if we can be so fortunate.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring beautiful NS. The home is next to the road but it was pretty quiet overall. We may suggest blackout curtains on the windows behind the bed so that the light is blocked from incoming cars. We would highly recommend this cottage!

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

It’s nice overall, we had a great experience. Place is cozy and quiet, close to the nature, plenty woods for the fire pit, it’s great for weekend gateway. Host is very responsive and friendly. It would be great if the amenities are a little updated, and have a dishwasher.

The perfect place to stay for peace and quiet. You are just far off the beaten path for some rest and relaxation but still close enough where the South shore attractions are just a drive away. The hosts will answer any question you have with a rapid response. Our two labs loved the property and Cailean Rae and Kate made a personalized gift basket for us and the pups. Can't recommend them enough.

Me and my GF stayed here for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived we felt we made the right choice booking this beautifully located cabin by the lake. Everything was as described. Tina was an exceptional host who made us feel welcomed. This little slice of paradise was secluded enough to offer peace and quiet yet close enough to wolfville and surrounding areas to go out and enjoy some nice food at the local restaurants. Id highly recommend this spot if youre looking for a nice relaxing weekend by the lake to kick back and unwind.

Chelsey has developed an absolute hidden gem in Nova Scotia! If you are debating on coming here, don’t. The various types of tiny homes are incredibly unique, from all over the world. The bathroom facilities are excellent and the property has beautiful lake access, bikes, sauna, kayaks and so much to keep busy with. Super close to the valley for restaurants, wineries and breweries. Support this small business owner!

Very friendly and helpful. Messaged to check in and make sure we got in alright and that everything was to our liking. Provided a space heater when they saw the temperature was supposed to dip.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend and had an amazing time! We took the kayaks out on the lake for a nice Fall paddle. The property was beautiful and there were lots of thoughtful touches. Shayma was easy to communicate with and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

This cottage is really loved. So many wonderful features: art, fireplace, comfortable beds, everything outdoors a visual delight and the gazebo view over the ocean unparalleled. The main floor bathroom a bonus for anyone with mobility issues.

The cottage, though small, is incredibly cozy, homey, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Great little cabin tucked in the woods on a lake. Seriously what more could you ask for. My friend and I left our men home and took off for a weekend adventure. This was an authentic log cabin experience and a great place to relax after spending the day chasing waterfalls. We had everything we needed. Ford is an absolute gem and very accommodating. Our only regret is not spending more time with him and Maisy who is a sweet friendly girl ( dog) who loves attention. If you are looking for a rustic quiet getaway I highly recommend this place.
