Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in New Plymouth

We had another wonderful stay at Pip & Dan’s place. It’s such a beautiful and peaceful spot. The house was great, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Pip was always super responsive through the whole process.

Beautiful location and sea views with access through 2 gates taking you to the rocky bay. Huge fully fenced yard great for our dog Judge and our 3 year old son. The chest of games and toys went down a treat for both and the 3 bdrm house had everything we could need for a weekend get away. The house was also lovely and warm AND we could see the mountain from the entrance way. Would definitely come back again. Thanks for having us, great hosts!

Perfect beachside getaway with lots of space for everyone. Loved the tennis court. You can see Mount Taranaki from the street across. Great board games for evening fun. Clean and well designed. Would definitely stay again!!!

We had an excellent two night stay here. The house is amazing, plenty of space and well equipped for big or small groups. We cooked both nights and had everything we needed. The games room is a lot of fun and the fire was very welcome. Our hosts set the fire for us the night we arrived which was very kind. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for parking. A car is definitely needed to visit New Plymouth and the surrounding area. Host was responsive on the app and the house was private in peaceful surroundings.

Moon was such a lovely host, they were friendly, gave clear instructions and allowed us to check in early. As far as the home, it was beautiful with plenty of space and had everything we needed!

We had the most wonderful girls’ weekend here! The accommodation was very well appointed and incredibly comfortable, everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. We really appreciated the clear instructions book, which made settling in a breeze. The surprise treats in the fridge were such a lovely touch and the icing on the cake that made us feel truly welcomed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, stress-free getaway!

Ana’s place is wonderful. The location by the coastal walk way and only a short walk to town was a plus. We have family in New Plymouth. This is definitely where we want to stay when we visit. It is so attractive and beautiful views from the house.

We came down from Auckland for the International Female Riders Day (motorbikes) and the unit exceeded expectations. Clean, bright and modern with super comfy beds and a lovely big outdoor seating area, with gorgeous views overlooking the ocean. It is alot bigger than expected, with full kitchen and a fabulous bathroom. Plenty of parking space. The location was private and off the main roads, which meant we didn't have to worry about the security of our motorbikes. Wendy was a great host, and I would recommend this airbnb to anyone without hesitation.

This is a ground floor apartment, part of a block of several apartments in one building. One is aware of neighbours in the adjacent apartments, but not overly so. The apartment has a front courtyard which is well planted, making it attractive and private. The furniture is chic and comfortable, befitting the advertising. Despite the cold night, we found the apartment warm and comfortable, and the beds provided a good nights' sleep. The location is a few minutes' drive from the city shops and restaurants.

We loved our stay at Tranquil Serenity. Teresa is a very kind host who thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Easy access in the the apartment when you arrive and then enter into a wide hall way which adds so much space to the apartment. Plenty of room for luggage here and in the bedroom. The spacious living room has a beautiful garden view. We loved sitting at the table and staring out the window and lounging on the super long couch. The bedroom is also spacious. It has a comfortable bed and a brand new ensuite bathroom with great water-pressure in the shower. It is a few mins walk from Pukekura Park and also a walk into town. All-in-all we loved our stay at Tranquil Serenity and we will be back!

An amazing place to stay. My only gripe is that we wish I could’ve stayed there longer. The host was friendly, very welcoming, and prompt with their communication. The stunning beachfront view was priceless! Would definitely recommend this Airbnb to friends and family. 5 stars 🌟

Thank you for accommodating us for our second visit. The unit is spacious and near new, comfortable and with parking at the door in a very convenient location. We enjoyed our second four night stay as much as the first and we had everything we needed.

Blown away by our beautiful winter farm stay escape. Gayle and Greg were incredible hosts and their cottage was just perfect. It’s modern yet cosy (a real treat to have central underfloor heating!!), perfectly equipped kitchen, great shower and very comfy beds. The place was pristine and very tastefully decorated, and despite being one of two cottages plus the main house, felt completely private. The views of the farm are breathtaking and you are welcome to walk around and take a look at the animals - my toddler had such a blast with this! Bonus points for Greg jump-starting my car on check out!! Thank you so much for a truly luxurious countryside break, will 100% be back!

What a great & groovy place to stay! Friendly hosts & a very welcoming space to spend a couple of nights. Lovingly appointed with curios & comforts we nearly traded our sightseeing to just hang out. The back yard is literally backing onto lush sub-tropical forest yet so close to the CBD. A very easy adventure was to hire Martin’s E-bikes. Wonderful to spend 3 hours riding in a city yet hardly needing to cross roads & traffic. Exceptional bikeways along streams, through parks, beautiful gardens & along the coast. Our stay couldn’t have been better. Huatoki Hideaway is a gem!

We stayed in winter and the double glazing and the heatpump kept us nice and toasty. The apartment actually feels bigger than the photos suggest, also has lots of sun in the afternoon, which is great in winter. It is just a few minutes walk away from the city centre, and less than a 10 minute walk to the Pukekura Park. The busy road didn't bother us, as the apartment is at the back of the driveway. We also liked the comfy couch, powerful shower and fully equipped kitchen. We did hear the neighbours a few times though, as expected in an apartment block. The local tips for restaurants and things to do was very helpful. We'll definitely book again when we'll be visiting New Plymouth again!

My stay at Jennifer's was wonderful! She is so kind and welcoming. The place was comfortable and got full day sun which was perfect for reading. Jennifer had great recommendations of coffee, food and shops, and was great to chat with. Highly recommend!

The room was just as beautiful and lovely as in the photos. It was well-equipped with cutlery and amenities, making for a very comfortable stay!
