Boulder Ridge cabin, great hunting on site

A frame cabin in the woods to get away from it all. It sits in the middle of the woods a 1/4 of a mile from anyone. Lots of trails to walk on and some set up for mountain biking. has around 15 acres for hunting (bow hunting only). Use of swimming pool at our house year around just have to let us know when you would like to swim. State parks nearby Dillon, Black hand gorge. other interests near by. Couple pizza shops will deliver and some other restaurants less than 10 miles away.

The Shanty: Lacy Rustic Vintage Sweet Cabin for 2

I planned a surprise fishing trip for my husband and chose Creekside Cabins after talking to the very helpful host, Debbie. The directions were clear, and the old barn landmark made it easy to find. We immediately thought, “We should bring the whole family next time!” The Shanty and the big cabin are close together, but noise wasn’t much of an issue. Inside our cabin, we hardly noticed neighbors. The first night it rained, so we grilled and relaxed in the cozy rocking chairs. The bed was very soft — I prefer firmer, but it was comfortable. Mornings with coffee on the patio overlooking the river were peaceful. My husband spent the weekend fishing while I read by the fire pit. The shared shower house was large and clean with good hot water and pressure. We’re already planning to return! Bonus: my husband broke his line trying to reel in a 3-footer and caught several carp — it’s definitely a good fishing spot!

I took my daughter camping for her birthday and we had a wonderful stay. Our cabin was very nice. The property is beautiful. The amenities were generous and thoughtful. Duane gave us a tour of the property and shared the history of the land. He even bailed us out when we forgot the chocolate for the s'mores. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again.

5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This cabin was an absolute dream! Perched high above the countryside, it offers spectacular views that took our breath away every single day. The setting is peaceful and secluded—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a highlight, especially in the evenings as we watched the sunset over the hills. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. What really made our stay special was the host—extremely responsive, friendly, and accommodating from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about making your experience perfect. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to unwind in nature with some luxury touches. We can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Diana and her husband (sorry, I forgot his name) were very welcoming and kind. Spirit, their dog, was also a friendly boy as well. He would visit us daily just to say Hi. The location was private but still close to restaurants, wineries, shopping, etc. We enjoyed playing the games that they had available to us. Our favorite was the game skittles. We also enjoyed fishing in the pond. The first night, a storm came through right at bedtime. It was perfect timing! We both slept better than we do at home. Diana's attention to detail did not go unnoticed. she had everything that you would need plus more and the treehouse was beautifully decorated and they had plenty of lighting around the area. We will definately be back again!!!
