Yurt holiday rentals in New Mexico

We really enjoyed our stay at the Long John yurt. It’s a great place to unwind and focus on spending time with family. Ellen was responsive and easy to get a hold of. We will be returning.

It worked great for us to have an out of the ordinary place to stay on our roadtrip back. We came in there - went to sleep and woke up to head out in the morning back on the road. It was quite dark in the night but they did mention for us to come earlier in the day - we just got late and they were nice to let us still make it in. They had water n all the amenities one would want. The bathroom was a bit of an issue with some of our city family :D but it was well worth the price! Thank you for the unique experience!

We had an incredible stay at this yurt! It offered the perfect balance between camping and comfort. The yurt was spacious enough for the three of us, with a solid roof, walls, and a door that kept us protected from the elements, while still giving us that authentic outdoor experience. The host provided everything we needed, including water, propane, and firewood, which was much appreciated. Everything worked as described, and the setting was beautiful. The only minor challenge we faced was locating the yurt—some of the flagging seemed to have had fallen off the trees over the winter, so finding it was a bit tricky. Definitely recommend keeping an eye out for those markers or asking for a little extra guidance beforehand. The yurt is located at a high elevation, so be mindful when packing. We overpacked, knowing there was a wagon, but it's still uphill! The hike in was great, but packing light would have made it easier! Rent some bikes and check out Red River if you go!

This place was pure magic, so relaxing and quiet. Just what we needed and the views were amazing! We would love to come back!

This was such a wonderful place to stay. If you want to “camp” without having to step up and take everything down this is a WONDERFUL alternative. The yurt was great. It all the things we needed gas camp stove, gas lantern for light, was equipped with water and stocked with firewood. We will be staying again.

This was a great stay, and a unique find! We received about a foot of spring snow, and our host was gracious and had everything warmed up for our arrival. The space was awesome, and it’s tucked in the east mountains with plenty of open space. Beautiful property!

Bill was so kind to made arrangements to work with us for an earlier check in, even though he had a busy day. He was very personable and greeted us all by name. We felt that we could contact him for anything. We loved the llamas! The yurt was very roomy and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

We had a fabulous stay, although a storm moved in just as our check in, and host promptly advised us that we probably wouldn't be comfortable in the TeePee, si they mived us to an immaculate apartment on the property. The kitchen had everything we might need, and the bed was SO comfy! Can't wait to cime back here with more famt❤️

Beautiful rural property with a private trail into the canyon below. The yurt style building has double height ceilings and tall living room windows facing Cerro Pedernal, and a bedroom with a balcony facing the sunrise. Will definitely return!

We communicated primarily with Lorina and she met us when we arrived. Lorina responded quickly, was flexible with our arrival time, and provided detailed information. Upon arrival she walked us through our reserved Tee Pee, but due to low temps she had prepared and offered us a hotel room on property. She was very friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond in our experience. The Tee Pee was as described, matched the pictures. The hotel room was very clean and had plenty of space for our traveling party. We would highly recommend this property!

The yurt was wonderful!!! Arriving at the location was just as amazing as the accommodations. Erin was quick to respond to any concerns or questions we had. I loved the deck outside. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was stocked with necessities. There is a good size refrigerator in the Yurt to store food and leftovers, if needed. The environment picturesque. My husband was happily riding his mountain bike to explore the area during the day. The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum/home/Ghost Ranch were incredibly insightful to who this amazing art is. This is definitely a place that I will come again. That you, Erin
