The CASA CARMEN is gorgeous. It is a Bavarian Chalet style hand crafted two story house featuring two elevated decks over a first floor porch. Our place is like nowhere else. An Acequia (concrete waterway) full of water runs through the yard. We are located just 7 miles from both Taos town and Taos Ski Valley! One mile from the village of Arroyo Seco, the mountains are close enough to hike and climb! Great views, restaurants and dining hiking or touring, you are in the middle of it all .

We absolutely loved our stay at Brownell Chalet! If you love old charming accommodations this is the place for you. We love old, historic places and this did not disappoint. Even though this is an older, it was in pristine, clean condition. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The 2 room configuration with kitchenette was perfect for us and our 2 teen boys. Christof met us to let us in (even at 10pm!) and had it all open and lit for us. The location is literally steps to Chair 1 - couldn't be more convenient. If you stay here (and you should) be sure to ask Christof for a reservation in the Der Garten Bistro which is his delicious, cozy restaurant right in the chalet. We felt incredibly welcome!

This was our first ABnB rental. Frankie and Sue’s hospitality and attention to detail was phenomenal. their home is beautiful and came as advertised. We will return! We’ll also use ABnB again as a result of our experience with Frankie and Sue. Though I know it will be hard to match our experience elswhere.

Loved staying here! It was perfect for our family. Space and location was awesome! They were also extremely accommodating letting us come in a day early and stay, my family had the best time! Would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended it to several friends and family.

Overall a really wonderful stay. It really was a great time for me and my family and it helped make some really meaningful memories between everyone and my little daughter. Only thing I’d say about the cabin was the main level bathrooms that were recently renovated were awesome but my only complaint about it was the shower temp. The water wasn’t always super hot so it left me a little bit cold while showering but it wasn’t enough to leave a bad review. Thank you!!

Beautiful and spacious cabin in the middle of the forest. It is located 10km from the city, making it easy to get there. It has everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. It has a TV room with a huge movie collection. The view from the rooms and terrace is wonderful. And last but not least, Michael is a very good host.

We had an amazing stay! The surroundings were beautiful and there were plenty of beds to accommodate a large group. We got lots of use out of the hot tub and loved the big table so we could eat meals together. Overall a great choice for our large group of 13 adults.
