Cottage holiday rentals in Nettles Island

From our very first day to our last our accommodations exceeded our expectations. The furnishings, linens, towels were high end. Everything we needed was supplied and we loved the communication. Gianni was able to hook us up with kayaks and use of a golf cart (highly recommend you get a cart). We had access to all kinds of amenities. We will be back!

Great place to have fun. We, including 6 years old son enjoyed beach, pool, tennis, golf pickleball.. everything. The facility itself is also very peaceful.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Peaceful and restorative. I would stay again. The joy of being by the water in a beautiful, private location cannot be underestimated. My cup is full.

Highly recommend this Airbnb. Very comfortable and you literally just need your clothes and personal hygiene. Our dog felt very comfortable there.

This was our first time on Nettle’s Island- but hopefully not our last! Scott’s place had absolutely everything we needed for a week of fun. The golf cart made beaching so easy- and allowed me to keep my van sand-free! We played mini golf 3 of the 6 nights- we loved having it right outside our back door! The house is well stocked for beach fun, including towels, chairs, and boogie boards! Scott was definitely a SUPER HOST! We hope to stay again!!

We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves . It was so nice to sit outside and we got to watch dolphins . Loved it would definitely stay again .

Gianni was very helpful when we had questions. The view from the patio is amazing.

We loved our short stay with our twin girls and 3 dogs here. The house is comfortable and close to everywhere we wanted to be - the beach and parks. The beds are great and the house is well stocked. It is quiet and relaxing to sit out on the dock. We used the kayaks and threw in a line. Will be back visiting and staying here again! Great location, house and hosts.

This is a lovely home -- feels like everything was very recently updated. It is an apartment/home that makes up second floor of garage -- they did a great job creating this space -- open concept, pristine, great kitchen, every amenity, wrap-around porch, views of St. Lucie River. There is a king suite...and a bedroom with a queen and attached full bath...and a space connected to living room that can be made private, with a fold-out bed (easily turned back into living space in the morning). No problems. Very quiet neighborhood.

The location was great. Only a couple blocks from the beach, maybe three blocks from jetty Park, restaurants and bars. It was great to be able to take the dogs. Full Backyard was fenced in. Second bathroom. Shower is a little small, but there is an outdoor one and a main bathroom. Everything was as described. Would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic Beach House! Walking distance to everything even though we drove everywhere, very nice house, private, comfortable and quiet. Minutes from great restaurants and the beach!!! We will definitely be coming back!

Marnie was very gracious and accommodating. We were waiting on the sale of our home and did not have a set closing date. Once we closed, we started the process of buying a new home in Florida and the cottage that we wanted was not available for our arrival date. Marnie graciously put us in a studio cottage for 2 nights while we waited for the 1 bedroom to become available. It was difficult for us to find an AirBnb that could accommodate the cargo trailer that we had with us, but Marnie provided a spot on property for it. The residents/guests within the cottage community were very pleasant and helpful. Yes, there is a train that you can hear, but to me, it was very nostalgic and reminded me of my childhood days. It was not loud to me, and for my dog who is afraid of everything, it did not faze him one bit. Location was great! Grocery store and laundry just down the street! I would recommend Marnie and the cottages that she has to friends/family for sure!!

The bedroom loft can be a bit tricky for some of us -- it's a low ceiling, just be aware that you will be crouching. I had to go downstairs backwards (I recently had a knee replacement). But other than that it is a terrific location, near the beach and walking distance to a very nice bar/restaurant, Sophie's and the neighborhood is very nice. The cottage is a very nice place to stay and the hosts could not be nicer. Overall a very good experience.

Our vacation was wonderful. The home was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Location was great. Walkable to beach, pool, and restaurants. Daniel was very accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This is a Hidden Gem in a Peaceful Area This place is absolutely adorable! Nestled in a quiet, gated area, it provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The host is incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, even bringing fresh farm eggs from their chickens – such a thoughtful touch! The location is ideal, positioned between Fort Pierce and Vero Beach, giving you the best of both worlds. Whether you're heading to downtown Fort Pierce or relaxing on the beaches, both are just a 10-15 minute drive away. Alternatively, you can explore the shopping areas in Vero Beach, also only a short drive away. Overall, this is a charming and well-located spot for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway with easy access to both Fort Pierce and Vero Beach.

Julie's place is beautiful and has all the amenities. My favorite spot was the spacious back porch and view of the well manicured back yard. The linens were lovely. The adjustable bed was nice. The kitchen has everything! Julie is kind, responsive and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was me and my husband's 2nd year in a row staying at this cottage! We have loved our stay both times! The property is exactly as described, easy to find, clean and close to everything you could need! It was definitely the perfect getaway for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our week together! The host was excellent, friendly, and fast responsive. We highly recommend this cottage!

Rei responded within minutes to any questions we had. The home is beautiful and clean with extra towels for our 10 day stay. Golf cart provided got us to the beach in 2 minutes or less! Private back yard with a hammock and grill on the patio! I will be back!

The home exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The deck over canal was not there during our stay because of construction, but we knew that ahead of time and appreciated the communication. Beatriz arranged for us to have a golf cart available, which was a huge convenience for short trips to the beach and pools. We love Nettles Island and plan to return when visiting our grandchildren who live nearby.

Aaron’s place was perfect !!! Quiet and so many walkable things to do. My sister and I went for a getaway and we couldn’t have asked for a better location! We enjoyed sitting on the beach watching the boats come in and out. We saw some sea turtles, manatees and dolphins which is always great !
