Waterfront holiday rentals in Negombo

This apartment is huge, luxurious and provides wonderful shared space as well as private bedrooms and bathrooms for 4 People or 8 in couples. We stayed for work and its was perfect for 4 colleagues as we had central space to share and still privacy. The building is phenomenal. Well known and easy to find. Two pools a steam sauna and gym and yoga studio. The building is quiet and peaceful despite being busy. Home cooked breakfast from manju was a top treat! I’d book again.

The apartment is in a perfect location. Walking distance to 2 supermarkets, shopping mall, the bakery and restaurant, etc. Nice view from a window of Colombo city.

This place is home in paradise. From the cleanliness, systematic checkin in checkout procedures to the hosts availability to help out is just commendable. The view from the stay? Oh boy! It’s to die for! I would recommend this Airbnb a 120%.

Wow. To wake up to the sunrise on one side of the apartment and then walk out to the living room and look over the ocean- magic. You are so high up and so close to the shore you feel like you're in a cruise ship! We have 2 boys, ages 7 and 11 and felt very safe letting them play by themselves outside with the secure guarded yard while we relaxed on our balcony of the 10th floor. There is also a pool and a rooftop patio on the 13th floor! The house has everything you need from seasonings and utensils to cook with and a dishwasher to a washer for your clothes, great internet, a/c in every room, and even a generator for the building when the typical Sri Lanka power outages happen. We stayed here for 2 weeks and it was such a great way to relax after a month exploring the country! The location is a bit away from shopping and attractions but there are tuk tuks always racing by and Mangala gave us numbers of trusted drivers and restaurants upon arrival. He was so kind and quick to respond whenever we had any issue. As a fulltime traveling family we have stayed in countless places in over 15 countries just in the past year, and this place is our favorite yet. 😍

I booked this for a few of my friends who came from Spain for vacation in SL. The place was great and had all the required ammentities and it was a pleasurable stay. We really enjoyed the place and the view was amazing. It was a great value for money and very worth it. Devindra was a great host and communicated with us when we required assistance. Overall a wonderful experience and a great host.

I stayed in few places during my visit to Sri Lanka and this was the best place out of all 3. The apartment was really beautiful and luxurious. Had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea and a beautiful infinity pool. Staff were friendly and the host was very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely come back here

Good place to stay , very central

by far the best accomodation we stayed at in Sri Lanka. It's a gated community with all facilities and apartment is extremely spacious plus Lakmal and his team Mr. Ashley are so professional, courteous and made one feel right at home. It has a massive and beautiful swiming pool and an amazing water park for the kids.

This house is a hidden gem in Colombo. It’s very tasteful and well furnished, with an incredible backyard overlooking the water. We didn’t feel like leaving the home. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Wow, what a fantastic place! I loved it so much.

When we selected this house for a two day stay -for a very much needed rest- along the river, we expected to be there by ourselves (a couple). But after arrival it seemed that we were only renting a room in the house of the owner(s) and the caretaker. So we were supposed to share kitchen, living room and other facilities. This was not how this Airbnb was 'sold' to us on the Airbnb site. i am sure that this did not happen with any bad intention. Once we expressed our disappointment, without any doubt, Gayani gave us a full refund. Otherwise all is well with the house. View is great. Gayani is a super kind person. So all is well except for the fact that you are not renting a whole house but just a room in the house of a Sri Lankan family. If that is what you are looking for, I can fully recommend this place.

Very spacious villa with a great view. The pool was amazing.

When we arrived at Janitha's villa , we were warmly greeted by his best friend , Jude , who looked after us throughout our stay , making sure we knew where places were & informing us of reasonable transport costs etc. The villa is located in a beautiful , quiet residential area where we were fortunate enough to observe many types of native wild life . Accessibility to the beach was approximately 10/15 minutes at a good walking pace but the nearest well stocked supermarket was approximately 30 minutes walk with empty bags , definitely tuk tuk on return journey with full bags ! The villa itself is as open & spacious as in the photos with mosquito nets provided in both bedrooms . Although we managed to prepare & serve a few meals in the kitchen , there could perhaps be additional utensils to make the job a little easier ( tin opener /few more sharp knives & maybe a chopping board & a sieve ). All in all , we were extremely impressed with the villa & the friendliness & helpfulness of Janitha's family & friends . We would have no hesitation in returning . Thankyou for a wonderful holiday . Located in the heart of the city, walking distance to Colombo city centre shopping mall, bakery and a super store. The master bedroom gives almost 180 degree paraomic views of the city , the lake and the sea. Well curated interior designs gives a grand guesture . The host Chathura is very responsive and flexible. I'd love to come back and no hesitation to recommend this place for any guests looking for a luxury apartment in Colombo city centre.

Amazing value, perfect for what we needed. Right next to the beautiful Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya temple. Living area very big and spacious. nice to have a full kitchen set up and dining table. large bedrooms and bathrooms too. the host was very kind and friendly. would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The space was SUPER clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect, with easy access to shops/malls and restaurants, clean and quiet neighborhood with high security. The apartment felt cozy and comfortable, just like home away from home. The amenities were excellent. We especially loved that the living room, and bedrooms had all windows, offering plenty of natural light and great view. The kitchen was fully and wonderfully equipped, making it easy to cook our own meals. The owner was also very accommodating and provided us with every necessity, for which we actually didn't had to contact her for anything... What you may need was already there!. Highly recommended!" Overall good

Loved how sparkling clean the space was and most importantly it felt like home with utmost privacy. Mr. Sam and his wife was extremely helpful, friendly and the prompt responses made our stay even more convenient. It's located at a very convenient location and i will definitely comeback again. If you're looking for a great stay in Colombo. This should be it!!

A very considerate host who met us very late at night to hand over the key, and had also bought some foodstuffs for our breakfast the next morning because of our late arrival. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was in a tranquil setting by the beach and also had a great swimming pool. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.
