My friends & I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the bayou, and it was exactly the escape I needed. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views instantly set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, with a rustic charm that made it feel like home. Large windows offered gorgeous views of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area overlooking the bayou instantly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. We spent most of our time outdoors—fishing, chatting with friends, having drinks/Momosas and just lounging around. At night, we grilled dinner, sat around in the “boom-boom room” as my husband calls it and watched the stars. It felt like time slowed down in the best way. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing everything from extra towels to board games and local recommendations. Every detail was well taken care of, making the who stay extremely comfortable.

This was our second stay at Ramona’s and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The addition of the “Cowboy” pool put it over the top. Ramona is a lovely person and fantastic host. She’s responsive and leaves very clear instructions, making check-in and check-out a breeze! The interior of the home is beautifully and uniquely decorated, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. And to repeat myself, the “Cowboy” pool was AWESOME. We spent all afternoon outside because the pool remained nice and cool. My family had a fun and restful stay at Ramona’s and we will definitely be back!

I highly recommend the Stanley House. This was my second trip staying there with family. Perfect getaway.

Our 3 night family vacay was so much more enjoyable than expected. It was a beautiful home inside and out. Definitely recommend and I hope to go back next year. The host, Cheyenne, responded immediately and was very attentive to any questions we had. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went to my nephews graduation and chose this lovely home to stay in while we were in town. Very clean, and spacious. We had 7 people and it was perfect for our needs. We loved that there were two areas to gather in the evening to wind down, a few of us were in the living area watching a show where as others sat in the back game room watching a different show and playing games. I would highly recommend choosing this home. The neighbors were very polite, and the neighborhood was very quite in the evening time. We did go out to eat several times while we were there so we did not utilize much of the kitchen except for the keurig, and fridge and the random cup or plate for drinks and sandwiches but it looked well stocked if you chose to cook. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay.

I airbnb a lot, and this was the most pristine home that I have ever stayed in. You could literally eat off of the floors. I was able to meet Miss Hillary and she even took me fishing. If you are looking for a nice quiet place with hospitality this is the spot.

Eddy was quick to respond to our calls. Immediately took care of any problem we had. Helpful with suggestions on where to eat. The house was spacious and very nice. It was great that there were two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We would highly suggest staying here when you are in the area. Eddy was so kind and a great host!

It was great worked very well for my family we were there for a funeral that had a covered dish afterwards so we were able to prepare our dishes when we arrived. It was nice to relax and visit after the long drive. Very beautiful place

Definitely worth your money! Paola is welcoming and her space is upgraded. I went for my residency at Lamar University and was so glad to have a place to myself.

Wonderful and comfortable place to stay. My husband was there working at the refineries. Close to his work location. Very comfortable home and quite. He enjoyed his extended stay and will for sure have this place on his list of returning locations. The owners are wonderful people. Great to visit with, and worked great with us on everything. This house was perfect for my family! It’s only a 12-minute drive to Lamar University, which was ideal since I was there for my residency. The house was spotless, and Kayla even had snacks and water bottles ready for us—such a thoughtful touch after a long trip when all you want to do is relax without making a store run. The location couldn’t have been better! There’s a park nearby with a splash pad and a toddler playground—my little one had the best time! H-E-B, Walmart, and plenty of restaurants are just minutes away. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and Kayla always responded quickly whenever I had a question. Highly recommend!

Great communication, came by to greet me and we talked for a while about the house and he explained his expectations. Had a wonderful time in his peaceful house. Will come back again for sure.

The house was perfect for me. My wife and my son felt right at home did not have a single problem the host was beyond perfect We like the place so much I originally booked it for two weeks and extended my stay for over three weeks I can’t express how much I felt right at home
