Holiday rentals with a kayak in Navarre

I’d like to start by saying that Jeff and Monica by far have been the best host that we’ve had working with Airbnb. The doors to communication were always open, even prior to booking our stay answering all of our questions, making sure that the property checked all of our boxes and most of all that we were close to the beach and to the fishing Piers . This particular property has everything. It is very well thought out from kitchen necessities to the little things that you like in your bathroom, beach, accessories, galore inside games giant cornhole, which is in the gigantic garage which actually serves as the game room with the right family plenty of storage Wash washing machine in the dryer so that you can go home with clean laundry in the garden, we loved the garden. We spent a lot of time in the garden in the evenings. It was such a vibe out there we took our two dogs and they absolutely loved the property. They sunbathed on the back patio. Perfect location . WE’VE MADE FRIENDS?

James and Ashley were outstanding in their communication. I have stayed at some amazing places, James and Ashley set the bar to a whole new level. They have everything you need and more, everything is thought of for your convenience. This place was extremely clean, with a big swimming pool and nicely fenced in backyard. Quick access to groceries. Easy in and out.

This place is not only in a great neighborhood that feels welcome and secure, but it being 8 min from some of the most laid back and beautiful beaches in the area is so undersold. I went to the beach at sunrise and sunset daily while working remote for 3 weeks. I barely went to the more popular ones in the area because this local one is so great, and if you like scuba diving the best dive shop, dive pros, and boat charters are only 10 min away. Also has very quick and easy access to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores Alabama, which in my opinion is the best parts of the local area.

Hey we just wanted to thank you! My wife and I (and our children) are having a blast. We really appreciate how well stocked everything is and that you have provided a baby bath, which she likes better than our one at home. The kid-drawn welcome signs/pictures on the fridge are great! It has been a fun and relaxing week. We have caught and eaten blue crabs and fish (speckled trout and red fish) almost every night. Even were able to catch all our bait in these little inlets and salt marshes. The seclusion of this house while still being close to everything is so convenient . This has become our favorite vacation destination! Dillon is a great host and this is one of our favorite getaways. Private and pleasant.

We had a seamless stay from start to finish. Location was perfect! Home was just as described. Beach items in the garage were super helpful! We had everything we needed, plus some!

Family of 4 plus one small pup all enjoyed a wonderful staycation with a beautiful pool, yard, house, and location. Beautiful space with lots of lights. Very clean, easy to location, host communicated very quick, and would be willing to stay again in the future. We loved our stay at the Traveling Mermaid. The house and property were amazing. The outside living space, pool and view were better than described. The house is beautifully decorated with and very comfortable. Paintings through the house gives its a fun, eclectic feel. My son enjoyed paddle boarding and our dogs loved exploring the backyard. Shelley and Dahl were very responsive when we had any questions. We have been visiting the area for 15 years and this is one of our favorite rentals.

We had a fantastic stay during our girls’ trip! The townhome is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood, with serene bay views on one side and just a short five-minute walk to the beach on the other. Kayaking on the peaceful bay was a definite highlight. The home was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing beach week. We made great use of the kayaks, beach gear, and spent plenty of time unwinding on the balconies. The location was also ideal—just a quick drive to great restaurants, shopping, and downtown Pensacola. Lauren and Reid were exceptional hosts—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Such a cute cozy place! My boyfriend and I loved the decor and it was so clean!! Kimberly was in top of everything she’s such a great host. Definitely book here so worth it. The beds are so comfy too you will sleep like a baby!

Enjoyed our stay at the octopus cottage. Vincent was great. Felt like our personal concierge. He even bought us a shade umbrella to use at the beach AND offered aloe for sunburns 😂. All in all great stay. Only complaint is that despite it being close to the beach as the crow flies, expect a 30 minute drive to the beach on the weekends. Closer to 15 minutes if there’s no traffic. But traffic slows down VERY easily. However none if that reflects in Vincent or the octopus cottage. Would stay again!

We’re repeat visitors and our stay this time was just as lovely as the last. The Nest offers a cozy place to hang out, bed down, and base from. We love spending time kayaking the sound and watching for wildlife. Beaches, seafood, and all the Ft.Walton/Destin vacation fun is close by, but the Nest is homey and easily fit our family of four. Very grateful for laundry to wash bathing suits in between beach days!

It’s hard to explain perfection but you’ll find it here. Annie thought of absolutely everything and had it all available for us. The house is fully stocked and ready for being able to relax and have fun with family. There is beauty all around and spaces to refill your soul. Looking forward to booking here again in the future.

Good location, not far from beaches and local restaurants.

Nice place to stay with family and friends…. We was in 4 adults and 3 kids, and it was perfect, the fact of just have one bath may take us little tight, but the rest of house was really spacious…. Great outside space, to parking and/or play with kids. view of Sea from the house is spectacular. We could stay for a lot off days, the house is very comfy and welcoming…… They also have one side gate that work well to come in with boat/jetski or trailer……If I could describe this property in one word it would be: AMAZING.

Wendye was super responsive and proactive as our host. We planned to bring our two goldendoodles and typically use a playpen instead of a crate. Since the house rules say a crate must be used, I ran the playpen by Wendye for approval and she was very understanding and accommodated us by allowing the use of it instead of crates. Overall the stay was exactly as expected and we were very happy to have chosen this host and property! Thank you!

This place was great for us. We were in Pensacola for baseball and the location was close to everything. It was the perfect place to come back and cool off after the games. It’s very clean, it has everything you need to have a home away from home. Chad and Katie were very responsive and friendly. They allowed us an early check in which was greatly appreciated and reached out to let us know about an event we could attend in the neigborhood. Would stay here again!
