Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Namaqualand

The simple life personified. After a short time getting oriented and realizing there were no locks on doors (be sure to bring a small padlock if that’s a concern), we fell deep into the slow and restive rhythm of the place. Beyond charming with simple details to match the back-to-basics decor. Top it off with a private beach on the vlei, cozy hot tub, outdoor shower and a very comfortable bed, and what more could you ask for?

Theunette was an excellent host and went the extra mile. The place was beautiful. Will definitely visit again.

Mark and Jules house is beautiful property. We loved how big the spaces and the incredible ocean view. Its very peacefull and walkable to the beach. our family will for sure come back here one day 🥰❤

Absolutely beautiful property; if anything the pictures cannot do justice to the panorama of the lake and surrounding hills. We were lucky with the weather and the place has everything that you need! Tim was also and hand to help out with the hot tub etc. Simply superb!

Had a wonderful stay!Our second visit at this house and our first time with the pizza oven which turned out to be a fun evening on the rooftop with a stunning sunset.The cottage was lovely too and both areas are well equipped with all you need.

Botánica is the perfect elands getaway. Location to the beach and surf is very close, the space is well laid out and they’ve done a fantastic job with landscaping their yard with the wooden decking and pool area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A beautiful massive house with all needed to stay warm in the coldest place in SA. We had an unplanned detour on the bikes and the host were concerned and still accepted us checking in only after 10pm with a smile.

We had a fabulous stay at Emma’s place, one we would definitely go back to! The position is incredible and the house has some great features - we loved the indoor Braai (BBQ)! Having the beach on your doorstep was great for our little kids, especially given you can keep an eye on them from the deck!

Great and very friendly host that made us feel at home immediately. The place was also squeaky clean and very neat. Especially after the rain and all the mud. Thank you for being a great host!!

Such a sweet spot nestled in the beautiful landscape of Rock lands. Lefras (and his doggo) we're the nicest hosts, very helpful and friendly and the house is full of charm. Sad we didn't get to stay there longer.

We needed a base where we can travel to and from and Gerda’s place was right for it. It right on the beach front. It is very affordable to stay at and has all the essentials. It is neet and clean

located in the heart of lambert’s bay, this modern yet homely unit made for a perfect getaway! the house was equipped with everything you may need and carol’s hosting exceeded my expectations 👏🏼 she was attentive and proactive from the moment we booked up until the very last minute from active communication to going the extra mile in terms of making us feel welcome, the host went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable from start to finish. the unit is located a stone throw away from the beach and is centre to many wonderful restaurants, so it would come highly recommended if you’re looking for a neat, spacious and peaceful break 🙌🏼

What an awesome stay. It was a magical retreat away from civilisation. Thank you Luigi and daughter for making our stay so much more than just a breakaway. Your hospitality was over and beyond what is the norm. The knowledge of the area was also phenomenal. Thank you for the pleasant conversation about life. If you are seeking bliss at the outskirts of stress this is the place to go. Here you will definitely want to stay. This is a forever home not just a breakaway - Gloria --------------- I would absolutely recommend taking a bit of a breather at Stillwater Air B&B, we arrived late Friday evening and the hosts were so accommodating, the flatlets, have everything you need to have for an absolutely amazing stay and just unwinding from the hustle and bustle of the city, already thinking of my next trip out there again! -Courtney

Wonderfull place to stay. Neat and tidy. Quality linen and bedding. Indoor fireplace that we used every night of our stay. Kitchen got every thing you need and more. Beautifull vineyards surrounding our home. Highly recommended. Thank you Minette.
