Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nakatsugawa

There is a large hall, multiple toilets, and a slightly larger bathroom and shower room, perfect for large groups.It was also great to have a nice coffee shop and other restaurants and hot springs where you can see the sea of clouds in the early morning, such as Migahara and Takabuchi.It is also nice to see the stars very beautiful at night.However, if you are thinking of a BBQ, it would be better for you to be careful that there is no roof and that you use gas, and that there is a separate fee.The kitchen is simple and not suitable for large groups, but it was a bar counter and had a very nice atmosphere.There was also a barrel sauna outside that was free to use.Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with a very strong edge on the facilities and location.We'd love to stay again if we get the chance.

What a privilege to stay in an Edo style home. We enjoyed exploring the home and especially loved the bathroom and water trough out the front We drove here from Takayama and found it to be a great stop for a couple of nights with beautiful walks close by. We explored the kiso valley and the local neighbourhood (Mizufune Post Town).

Naoko was a good communicator and check in was very easy with her instructions. The house is a good size, though you will have a hard time fitting your luggage in the smaller bedroom, and may need to keep it downstairs. Having a dryer in the house was very convenient. The location is good, and easily walkable to the train station.

The location is very strategic and convenient. Host is very responsive and house is very clean and typical Japanese house.

Everything was cute✨️ It was a very nice refreshing stay. I want to use it again.

This place is so nice

It was a wonderful villa that far exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and tastefully arranged, and the facilities, including the kitchen and bathroom, were perfect. I highly recommend it to groups that especially like BBQ and cooking. Also, the spacious living room and comfortable bedroom were very cozy, and I was able to relax as if I were at home. The garden and surrounding environment were also attractive, and we had a really special time during our stay. The owner and host are very kind, and I'd love to stay again! I highly recommend it!

Check-in was pretty seamless and fully digital - no key needed. Layout was good considering the size of the unit - quite spacious dining n living room, yet has 2 showers and 2 non-kitchen sinks meaning 2 pax can wash up simultaneously. Location quite close walking distance to a Lawson, and only a 10min drive away from most city centre attractions such as Matsuzakaya, Osu Kannon, Science Museum, and Oasis 21, 15min drive to Higashiyama Zoo, 25min to Ghibli Park. Host was fast and responsive when we updated that there were no trash bin bag replacements, and delivered it next morning along with some fruits! It would have been nice to have child-friendly cutlery, and also umbrellas as it rained for a few days so we bought out own. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Except for the location, everything was great! You can get a ride when you come, you can't get a ride when you go. The owner is very warm and considerate, prepared water and snacks ~ Amazing view from the window I especially like the cherry blossom tree in the yard!❤️

I stayed in a short time, but I had a very valuable experience like the times were traveling back in time.

It was the perfect accommodation! There are two bathrooms and two toilets, so it's great for several people to be together. If you are a group traveler traveling in Nagoya, you should definitely come here.

Our family is very grateful to Mr. Shige.My husband went to Japan for the first time and didn't know anyone and didn't rely on anything and was lucky to meet Mr. Shige.With his warm, patient help, my husband didn't stay in the streets.Mr. Shige not only helped my husband find a place to stay, but the follow-up was also very helpful in other aspects of life.Our family really thanked him and were very satisfied with all aspects of the homestay hotel we stayed in and really recommend it to everyone.

We loved Saori’s house. Large and spacious with lots of cutlery, crockery, record player and games. It’s feels like their holiday home with all of the extras. It’s in such a gorgeous, stunning location that it’s hard to imagine it’s real. The view of the mountains and rice paddies are delightful. It was a fair distance from where the bus dropped us off, we walked for about 25mins to get there. But it was definitely worth it. Just be sure to have groceries with you if you need them. Once there, it’s walkable to onsens, restaurants and lots of local attractions. We were sad to leave!

This is a very typical Japanese apartment, the host was very friendly, like his own uncle, staying at relatives' house.He came by to say hello, helped us and answered a lot of questions. At first I felt that the location and transportation were not very convenient, but then I found that it was not a problem with the apartment, but the transportation in all of Nagoya was quite inconvenient.Good that it is very quiet in this location for a steady sleep.It would have been better if the hallway light light at the door could be turned off. You can walk to the port of Nagoya, and the nearby bookstore is very good.And some izakayas should have a try.

It was such a clean and nice place to stay! It felt like a normal family home, not a cramped hotel, so it was nice to be able to store your luggage comfortably and use the space spaciously. However, I had to turn on the heater to warm up the accommodation, so it was dry and uncomfortable for me who was used to the boiler, but the sunlight came in well during the day and the house felt warm. It is important to keep in mind that only 2 towels are provided per person regardless of the length of your stay. If I ever come back to Nagoya, I would definitely use this place again.

There is a large living room where the family can gather together to eat and chat. The only thing that lacks is my favorite is that the mirror only has a toilet, it would be perfect if you can add another full length mirror.

I loved staying here. It was in a great location and was very beautiful. I ran around the area and it was so amazing. The place was clean and cozy, I would recommend it!

My family of 4 stays for 2 nights. Have a BBQ in the lovely garden during your stay.Since it is a villa area, it is not noisy, but it is close to the neighbors, so you don't have to worry about it. The owner's main house is the same building, but it doesn't interfere structurally. You can walk around the villa while listening to the birds, and detoxing with the hustle and bustle of the city.Also, there was no TV in the room, so it was good that the children were spending time finding some games. I definitely want to use it again.

It was very neatly organized, and I had a comfortable stay. They also provided cup ramen and water, which was very helpful on the day I came back late at night. It was also convenient to be able to park two cars. Also, they were very polite about my forgotten items, which was helpful. I would like to stay there again when I go nearby in the future.

Nice apartment and smooth check-in. stayed only one night so it was perfect.

Simple, clean and efficient. Perfect accommodation for 1 or 2 people! Small flaw: the smell of cigarettes from other apartments everywhere in the hall but unfortunately this is not something the host can change.
