Holiday rentals with breakfast in Nainital

I rarely leave reviews but this villa was absolutely amazing! It was so better & more stunning than the pictures could show. You can't really get the vibes from photos, but trust me, it offers an stunning 270° view of the mountains and valley. It's incredibly peaceful and privately built on a hilltop side with just a few other homes nearby. That gets you amazing chilly breezes in the morning & can really enjoy your evenings outdoors. Our group of 8, relaxed in 4 rooms, with extra bedding in most of them. My family loved having the flexibility & facilities to cook our own meals. Mr. Joshi was a fantastic help, assisting with chores and arranging mid time snacks whenever needed.We didn't ask him to cook much since we're pretty good cooks ourselves, but he was always there to lend a hand. And seriously, his tea is phenomenal – we became instant fans! We're already plur next trip back, hopefully soon. A big thank you to Prince for accommodating us and adjusting special request of cake....

This was one of our best AirBnB experiences! The location is perfect with the lake right in front of the cottage. The house itself is very cosy and tastefully done up. They have a microwave and fridge so you can be fairly independent as well. The area is comfortable for a family or close friends traveling together. Kumkum Ma'am and Hari Sir are absolutely the best hosts. They are very warm and caring and go out of their way to help you. They have the most interesting stories that keep you entertained. We had a personal emergency and Hari Sir ensured we got all the help we could get. He spoke to his family and with his vast local network, we were able to solve the problem very easily. We were so grateful for his help and guidance. The caretaker Nandanji and his family are very helpful and take care of every need. The food he makes is very delicious and you can ask him to make as per your tastes and preferences. We traveled with a toddler and a dog and all of us had a wonderful time. We can safely say that we will be staying with them every time we head for a vacation in that area!

This is a beautifully built home and Siddharth is an amazing and a very warm host. The place is even better than what is shown in the images, it has a warm and peaceful vibe, exactly what we were looking for. We were regretting why did we not book it for longer. Siddharth was in touch through out and ensured that we are comfortable and get everything we need. The cook cooked really good home cooked food. The view from the glass house and bedrooms were icing on the cake and we just loved to have morning tea in the balcony enjoying the beautiful mountains. We had a wonderful experience and we would love to come back again soon.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The peaceful and scenic surroundings were perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms and washrooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Diksha was super responsive and provided clear instructions, making our check-in seamless. The real highlight was the incredible cooking by the caretaker's wife! 🍴 Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and satisfying. Bhagwan Das, the caretaker, was also very supportive and helpful. The property is well-laid out, with a spacious kitchen and dining area on the first floor and cozy rooms on the second floor. The beds were excellent, and the washrooms were big and clean. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the balcony's unique perk - we got to witness a hot air balloon activity up close! 🌟 We were mesmerized by the breathtaking views from the comfort of our own home. We're just 700 meters from the lake, with a great market along the way for daily essentials and medical shops.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Verandah, Bhimtal. We were a group of 4 senior citizens, 5 adults, kids, and an infant, and the property turned out to be the perfect choice for all age groups. It’s clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible by car — a big plus when traveling with seniors and little ones. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional hospitality. The staff — Krishna, Chandan, Himanshu, and Anmol — were incredibly polite, warm, and always available when needed, yet respectfully invisible when we wanted our space. Their service was seamless and thoughtful in every way. A special mention to Amrit, the owner, who is kind, humble, and genuinely cares about her guests' experience. We were there to celebrate my son's 5th birthday, and thanks to the team, it became a truly memorable occasion for all of us. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful, cozy, and heartwarming getaway in Bhimtal. We'd love to return!

I stayed for 4 nights at Himank. I strongly recommend it to everyone. The standout features are the location, homely vibe and Kanchan Pandey Ji, the caretaker, a wonderful human being and a brilliant chef. Perched at 2,200 mts above MSL, the home overlooks a vast valley with endless stretch of rolling mountains. If weather is clear, one can view the ring of snow capped peaks beyond these mountains. It is located inside a gated community called Great Himalayan Heights. The locale is very peaceful, scenic and quiet. However, do expect some construction noises from neighbouring plots The bathrooms are clean, and linens are fresh. It has a large kitchen which needs few more appliances and utensils to be fully useful. The nearest store for daily essentials is about 3 kms down the winding road, at Malla Ramgarh. There are a couple of decent cafes, eateries and a bakery near Gagar which is about 3 kms from Himank. On the whole, I had a great rejuvenating experience at Himank.

I recently booked this homestay on Airbnb last minute, and it turned out to be the best decision. The newly developed A-frame wooden cottages offered a stunning sunrise view from the massive balcony. The best Airbnb I have stayed in. Very clean and fully functional property. The view from the lawn is just awesome. It is the perfect getaway from the touristy locations. The staff who lives in the property are very helpful. I fully recommend.

It was our first time at an air bnb. The location is great and has beautiful view of the lake. Felt like home, cooked meals ourselves grocery is available at Bhat provisional store just 25 meters away Bhat uncle (and Aunty) has every thing you need and he doesn't mind even if you buy 2 tomatos, 3 potatoes etc. Master bed room with attached balcony and bathroom is better than any 5 star hotel I have stayed so far. We (Me, wify and two children 18 and 13) spent lot of time in living room together as it was raining in Nainital most of the time . Overall we had a blast, Jai provided clearcut directions and offerd full refund as it there were past complaints of water scarcity. We didn't feel any water scarcity. Meenu the caretaker was very pleasant and courteous we didn't use her services for cooking but she ensured that place and kitchen is clean. in past I have stayed in Nainital in hotel with veiw but closer to mall, lot of noice pollution. This property is higher on hill hence peaceful.

It's a fantastic location. You can see the stunning scenery and the break of dawn. The caretaker was nice and supportive. Recommended for those who own private transport. (Car/Bike)

Excellent experience

We had a wonderful stay at Karan's place. It is away from the usual tourist hubs within a short driving distance to Sattal and Bhimtal and has a great view of the valley from the terrace and balcony, which are open to guests. The caretaker, Mr Saraj was very polite and attentive to all our requests and Karan kindly provided an early check in. The room was clean and comfortable.

It is a fantastic place with very warm people. Devika Aunty is an amazing woman who has created a magical corner surrounded by hills. Her charming cottage is decorated with peach plants, blooming hydrengeas and hemmed by lovely pink climbing rose vines. Her staff is caring and take great effort to make the guests feel comfortable. Every meal we had here is a memory to cherish - from bengali luchis to pahadi rajma and ragi roti. It is a place to relax and reflect, a slice of good life that we all chase put together affectionately by the incredible Devika Aunty.

An amazing escape from your crowded metro life . A place where you can actually hear the birds chirp. Very peaceful and serene. The star gazing was amazing. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Riddhi is an amazing person and a very responsive host. Makes you feel right at home. They had 4 dogs and kunwar singh was the best :)❤️ Shagun and Riddhi have worked very hard to make this place unique and lovely. It felt like a peaceful adventure trip.

The place felt right at home and it was peaceful, calm, and serene. There was a lovely view from the drawing room and it was quite beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. It’s a private property and was easy to find. A proper cottage for a family and a big group. The caretaker was really helpful and provided really good service and cooked home cooked meals that were very healthy and tasty. Overall a must stay.

Had a lovely stay at The Foliage over the long weekend. The location in Sunkiya village is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful hills—perfect for a quiet getaway. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped. What made it truly special was the warmth and hospitality. The host was incredibly kind, always checking in to ensure we were comfortable. She even arranged a bonfire, which brought all the guests together—felt like hanging out with old friends by the end. Gopal, the cook and caretaker, was equally sweet and made delicious meals throughout. It felt less like a stay and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. Highly recommended—and I’d definitely love to visit again.

A serene , quiet and beautiful place. A balm for weary souls and an ideal break from the chaos of our everyday lives. The host was responsive and kind enough to accept reservation change requests due to professional causes, rohit was a great caretaker, and everything you would need for a comfortable stay was available. The aesthetics were pleasing and the natural beauty of the place and the surroundings was soothing. If you need a quiet getaway just to be with nature and escape the noise of our urban lives, this is just the place to be in .

Very warm host and the caretakers. The cottage is in a peaceful and secluded spot. It takes 30-40 mins of trek to reach the cottage from the closest road. Beautiful place. worth staying here for surreal experience.
