This home was the perfect stay to end our 13-day island hopping tour. After 4 hotel stays we were beyond excited to see the home equipped with so many treats for an amazing Maui experience. From morning coffee paired with the sunrise on the lanai to turtle watching out back at sunset, we had an amazing stay and the unit had everything we needed. This was the perfect place for us to stay for a couple nights! The space met and exceeded all our needs. Sweet porch and entryway, beautiful room, comfy bed and nice bathroom set up . A wonderful breeze blows thru the room and carries the perfect slightly floral scent. The water dispenser, coffeemaker, fridge and paper products were very appreciated. Tasty fresh breads in the mornings were such a nice treat. LizBeth was quick to respond to questions. Small friendly town a short distance away was a fun place to catch breakfast and visit shops. The location is wonderful for exploring cool places and returning to relax. Garden spaces around the property are beautiful, inviting and refreshing. Beach chairs were a win, too. We enjoyed our trip to Maui and we will fondly recall our stay at the Hibiscus Hideaway!

Wow! Where do I start. I’ve travelled and stayed in AIRB&B”s all over the world. Every now and then you come across a place that truly drives the experience. This is one of those places. Beautiful, quiet, island country feel, private and safe…. I felt like I was living in a dream. Place was CLEAN 🧼 Bedding was super clean and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. It’s upstairs, so you can walk out and hang out in the patio and witness a 360 mountain and ocean view…. It reminds me of countryside Japan so much. Vernon was super responsive and kind with check in instructions… This is the greatest deal on the island and at this price and experience, Vernon will take a lot of business from the competition. 10/10 !!!! I’m very picky, I recommend this place to EVERYONE visiting the island, you won’t regret it….

Perfect! I loved your place!

I give this place a 5* review based on the value. It was clean. It had the basics of what you need for the place. Location is good. Close to Hana and far enough off the road where traffic noise wasn't an issue. But realize that a 'Hawaiian basic home' is different from a basic home you'd find on the mainland. So if you are looking for a 'pretty little place' or if you are particular, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you are looking for value and a clean place to lay your head at night after a long day of hiking and/or hanging at the beach... its hard to find a better place for the money.

We loved our experience here. Beautiful views of nature from every room. Lovely rain showers and breezes keeping things cool. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Good location for both road to Hana and Haleakalā. We appreciated the snorkel gear, toys and beach supplies. Highly recommended! One thing to note is that the laundry and supply area is a little tricky to access (it's below the house), was not a problem for us, but may be difficult if you have mobility issues or are unstable on your feet.

Wow, what an amazing stay! The villa was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean, waterfall, and mountains. The private pool and hot tub were perfect spots to relax and soak in the scenery. We were delighted to discover a charming hidden nook upstairs overlooking the pool a delightful surprise! The bedroom was gorgeous, and while the outdoor shower took a moment to get used to, it turned out to be such a unique experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Being nestled in a garden setting, we did encounter a few critters like cockroaches, spiders, lizards, and mosquito eaters, especially since we loved keeping the doors open to feel the refreshing breeze. It didn’t bother us much, though a quick sweep of some webs inside would have been appreciated. Now this is quite a drive from any towns/ restaurants so prepare in advance and stop somehwere before check in! Overall, the place was very clean, and our stay was incredibly peaceful. Audrey’s place was lovely and we really enjoyed staying in her cabin! The cabin was very clean and had lots of guides and local recommendations for us to look over. Audrey was also very responsive and answered any questions we had promptly. The cabin is located close to Makawao and Paia and we loved visiting those towns. It is also located close to Haleakala, only about an hour drive away. We loved staying here and hope to visit again!
