Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Nags Head Island

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

Lots of space, clean, and beautiful. There were discounts for a number of local businesses, and the location was perfect for beach access. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.

I so wish we could give this place more than 5 stars! The location is PERFECT. Peaceful, beautiful, quiet, private, right on the bay and literally 5 minutes from town. Hour and a half or so from Hatteras Ferry, 5 minutes from Kittyhawk beach, 30 mins from Coquina beach. We saw rabbits and sea otters in the front yard, and woke up to birds singing every morning. Spotlessly clean, comfy, great AC, kitchen with everything you could need, along with beach stuff. The photos honestly don’t do it justice, it’s stunning!! Bikes were a nice perk, and hosts were very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Cannot recommend enough!

We had a wonderful stay… the OBX is now our favorite vacations spot! Sounds Groovy was Awesome with wonderful and responsive hosts.

Great House! Easy Check-in, nice neighborhood, close drive to the beach access, and all the amenities you’ll need. I would recommend this stay.

Wonderful hosts and very attentive to our needs. It was such a nice getaway and a perfect place to relax. We especially enjoyed the front porch in the afternoons. Already making plans to get back to Twin Fin asap!

I would absolutely stay here again! Monika’s place is cozy and super clean. She was super helpful and responsive, and the location was amazing! It felt like we were close to everything. Five stars!

We had the best time! The house was located close to tons of shops and restaurants. We walked to get coffee at the morning view every morning! The place was better than the pictures - the cutest beach cottage, updated and lots of charm. They had everything you could need plus more! (Loved that they had non toxic options for cookware as well) We had our 3 year old with us and the house is great for families. The walk to the beach was so quick and they had all the beach supplies (bougie boards, chairs, umbrellas, etc - it was nice not to have to pack all the extras). We will most definitely be returning!

The house was very pretty and comfortable. It's close to a lot of restaurants and things to do. Katie is great and made checking in and out a breeze.

Heather and Tom were wonderful hosts and even more wonderful people. From start to finish, they made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Casa de la Luz is truly a gem: immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing, with the beach just a short walk away. When I return to OBX, checking Heather and Tom’s availability will be my first priority.

Mark’s place was really great. He greeted us when we got there. He responded very quickly if we had any issues. The house was not far from the beach and we had a blast. We will definitely stay here again when we come again.

This home was everything for my week stay in OBX, clean home. Felt like I was home we had everything we needed. Communication was very quick!

Wonderful stay in a charming home. I practiced yoga on the back porch over looking the canal while my husband napped after a beautiful motorcycle ride to Hatteras. Close to Wright Brothers Memorial, Duck, beaches, etc. We will be back!

Earl’s place was perfect for two people—cozy, comfortable, and very clean. The king-size bed was especially comfortable, and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with coffee and filtered water. The location was great: walking distance to the sound and a short drive to the beach. Earl was incredibly responsive whenever we had a question or request. We also really appreciated the extras he provided, like beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach cruiser bikes. Stand up shower was small but wouldn’t stop us from staying here again!

Jonathan place is incredible! He has thought of everything. Very helpful! I asked about a blender and he bought one for the place. The bath is incredible! I will be staying here the next time I’m here! My cousins live in the area and they loved it too.

Had a great time! The host was very friendly and helpful. The place was perfect for a small peaceful place to return to at the end of the day after going to the beach and exploring the restaurants within OBX.

We really enjoyed our stay here as a family with small children. There were only a couple other people at the condominium so the pool was always available and parking was easy. I liked how you get to park underneath the condos so your car stays shaded. The lock code to the stairwell and elevator made us feel secure. There were plenty of nice beach items to use in the storage including wagon, umbrella, and chairs. Each room had plenty of beach towels and bath towels. The walk to the beach was minimal. The only cons were loud vehicles since you are close to the road and one ceiling fan not working in a bedroom but that didn’t bother us! Overall it is a great place and exceeded our expectations!

The condo was very charming with new appointments and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sunrise each morning and the sound of the waves crashing each night. The kitchen was well equipped and had sufficient space for the two of us. It was also nice to have both a full and half bath as well as a door between the sink area and toilet/shower in the full bath. Having several options for coffee with espresso, drip, and a Keurig was a big plus A few observations we want to share. It would be very tight to fit 6 people in the place but you could comfortably have two couples or a couple with two kids with the second pair on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a great stay for our anniversary weekend!!!

Joe's place has stunning ocean views. It is on the forth floor. It is facing ocean without obstruction. it has big sliding doors in living room(both sides) and one bedroom. The balcony is very big. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunset. The apartment is very roomy, three of us had enough space. The location is in the center of outer banks. The grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. We definitely will come back!

The place was exactly what we were looking for. We were in town for the Jazz Fest which was across the street, so it was perfect. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but wasn't the primary reason for our visit so it was fine. The place is really cute and comfortable.

I booked this location for our 2 year anniversary and it was an incredible stay. The view was perfect and the house was everything we needed for a few days stay. Gene was incredibly kind and even allowed us to check in early which worked out perfectly for us. The listing was just as described and honestly much more head space in the main room than we originally thought. The internet was great which was incredibly useful for our remote work. Couldn't recommend a better stay in the OBX for the price and location.

Rebecca is a great host. We felt right at home and the place is lovely. The entire condo was shining clean. It was a nice touch to have shampoos etc and towels ready. The walk in shower was a delight. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to cook. Yes overall the kitchen served our needs. We found the beds to be the best ever and we stay on ObX annually for 40 years!! Definitely great sleep. Thanks for a great week.

What a fantastic location! We loved being right on the beach. Inside the condo was really quiet and it had everything we needed. My kids loved it too and we got to see dolphins from the balcony!

This is our 3rd time staying here! Has a beautiful view, great access to the beach and a nice pool, which is so great to break up the day. We traveled with two adults and two children perfect amount of space. Little dated inside but has everything you need. We come for the location, because it’s so good! As other reviews have said there is a rental above you. We had one night of very late night noise but other than that it was a wonderful stay, we will be coming back!
