Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nagano

It was a great location, 5 minutes by car to Harenire Terrace. I stayed for a week, and it was very clean and all the dishes were available, and I had a very pleasant time in a nice cottage. I would like to stay here again when I go to Karuizawa.

We had an amazing stay at Geoff and Aki’s place! They are incredibly caring hosts who made sure our trip was comfortable and unforgettable. They provided us with all the necessary information about the area and were always ready to help with visiting local attractions. The house itself was warm and cozy, with a breathtaking view from the window. At the end of February, there was a lot of snow, and the nearby ski resort was open – we could even walk there! Getting to the house by taxi from Nagano was easy, but traveling back without a car was a bit tricky. Fortunately, Geoff was very kind and helped us with transportation when needed. We truly appreciate their hospitality and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Nagano!

Excellent success! Thanks to the warm and calm house and the spacious garden, everyone was able to relax and have a good time. The host was also kind, and the children were very happy with the thoughtfulness of bringing the dog. I really liked the house and the location, and I would definitely like to use it again next time. Rustic accommodation in an unbelievably beautiful place. The house is spacious and comfortable. Chie and her family are very special people who made our stay a highlight. our second stay at this lovely place.

The place is very big and homie and so clean with a lot of facilities.

This is a wonderful place to stay especially if you have a dog. It’s really modern and fully of windows to bring in the sunshine. The bath was really nice as well.

Lianne is a super friendly and responsive host. The place is cozy as your own home with the great pellet stove.

Absolutely beautiful house, the photos do not do it justice. The renovation is so stylish, it's one of the nicest Airbnbs we've stayed in. Such a peaceful setting, and the onsen was fabulous (because of its size it takes a while to fill). We highly recommend the ramen at the end of the street. Only things to note are the lack of privacy in the shower room during the day (we had some neighbours wander through!) and the second bedroom has limited privacy. This was fine for us as a couple but just to note if you come with a group.

We loved our stay at Daniel’s apartment in Iwatake! Everything was as described & pictured. Pick up and drop off to station great - as was the food shop at the start. All staff friendly. The drying room was very good and something we didn’t even know was a MUST! The new Gondala was very nice and the view from the top of the mountain was stunning. The ski lift near the apt did not open when we were there even tho there was so much snow which was disappointing. Daniel always responded to questions friendly and quickly and I would recommend these apartments for skiing families. Beds and amenities were great - the washer and dryer also handy. The apts are quite a distance away from most things in Hakuba (good and bad)- it cost me $50aud round trip to go to the shops (10 mins) to get some good and there really is not many restaurants or food close by and the cheap taxi would not collect from the apts. Some other guests were noisy and could be heard through walls. Would love to come back

Justin place was well equipped with all of the needs that would helps you have a great stay. From cooking utensils to oil, salt and pepper to netflix. Having towels and soap is something i would always expect at most accommodation but cooking your own meal made my stay nice and a break from restaurant food. I would highly recommend staying.

It’s my second time staying at the Nozawa Gondola Apartments. Different room this time but just as wonderful as before. Clean nicely designed house, well equipped kitchen, and can’t ask for a better location if you’re headed for the slopes!

It was a very beautiful hostel. The view from the window was also good and the atmosphere was calm. However, the owner was not available when I checked in, and even if I asked the employee, I waited for a moment. It is a bit disappointing that we had to wait about 30 minutes for check-in.

Kazuki and his co-hosts were extremely helpful when a show storm shutdown all the trains and buses. Local recommendations were provided. A health emergency occurred in our group and they came to our rescue providing above and beyond care getting our friend to the clinic and further transportation assistance. Other than that this place is actually slightly bigger than it looks like in the photos. It’s the last house in the driveway and it very quiet and private with large trees bordering the back of the house. I want to go back already! Thanks everyone! We appreciate everything you did for us!

Great location, right across from the slopes and a few lifts. The beds were really comfortable and the in-floor heating made the place feel warm and cozy.

Since the front desk explained it carefully, there was no inconvenience during your stay. I'd appreciate it, too.

I stayed in late May. It was a better environment than the photos, surrounded by greenery, listening to birds singing, and having a bonfire at night, which was very relaxing. It was a quiet and private environment, but there was also a supermarket nearby, which was convenient. The water was clean and the kitchen was easy to use, so we had a stress-free stay. The host also contacted us before our stay and was very helpful in responding to questions right away. This time, I only stayed one night after climbing, but I wanted to stay more slowly next time!

Perfect location, walking distance to Ruze Villa where we attended a wedding. The home was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. We were grateful to the owner who reached out to us after finding my brother’s passport.

Nataria’s place is beautiful and clean. The lodge looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The airbnb is located in a very quiet and beautiful forest. Tourist attractions are easily reachable as well which made this the perfect place to stay. Nataria was very welcoming and flexible. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great 2 nights with 2 big families. We cooked lunch on the bbq. The host was so responsive - even posting some luggage we left behind!!

It was a very luxurious inn, packed with everything you could want in a completely private space. The place was very clean and stylish. The quality and location of the sauna, jacuzzi, infinity chair on the wood deck, and large bath were perfect, and we had the best experience as a couple who love saunas. If I had to say one thing, the kitchen facilities are very well equipped, but the optional meals are not great, so I think it would have been better to bring our own ingredients and cook.
