Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. Thank you!!

Xrisa welcomed us at the check-in and we had a wonderful stay in Plakias. The accomodation is right in the heart of the village, very close to all the restaurants and beaches. The room was very comfy and clean, the balcony was great to spend the night at. We could also leave our bags at the reception after checkout, to have a last swim in the sea. Xrisa was really flexible, friendly and helpful, we can only recommend.
