Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Myrthianos Plakias

Been before. Love this place. Swim on the door step. Family run great welcome. It is beautiful and Georgio mum helped me with my tango dancing .. I was terrible !

Litsa kindly waited for me in the evening even though my flight was late. She showed me the apartment and I got the key. The apartment was clean and a good size. I got help from Litsa in planning my holiday and ordering a taxi. The Koum Kapi area was wonderfully peaceful, but interesting. The only downside was that the noise from the other rental apartment behind the wall was loud. Fortunately, the tenants understood this and quieted their noise. I enjoyed my visit.

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.

We had a wonderful stay. Gina and her family made us feel at home right from the beginning. Gina is an excellent cook and we had almost every meal at her taverna. Paradise!

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. This really offended me and can’t understand why??? Laura Rehm

What a comfortable stay we had at Judy and Mike’s beautiful Apartment Francesca! Suited our needs very well indeed. Fabulous location & views. Loved the private patio and relaxing by the pool. Judy and Mike are indeed ‘Super Hosts’, nothing was too much trouble. Recommended some fabulous taverna’s. It was a pleasure meeting them and their lovely dogs! Why we loved the location: Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Vamos only a short distance with excellent taverna’s and a great coffee shop next to the tourist office in Vamos Old Town. A short drive to Kalives which has a beautiful beach and seafood taverna’s on the beach front. Look forward to our return and would love to stay longer next time! Great experience!! We stayed at this wonderful Airbnb and our expectations were really exceeded. The place was spotless, comfortable and very well cared for – but what really made the difference was the staff. From the first moment, we were greeted with kindness, a smile and authentic hospitality. They were always available for whatever we needed, willing to help with joy and good mood. You didn't just feel like a visitor – you felt like a guest! The feeling of warmth and respect they showed us made our stay truly unforgettable. Such service is rare and deserves to be recognized. We had a lovely week in Crete. The accommodation was beautifully presented with great amenities. The perfect balance of the privacy of your own villa with the benefits of a small resort. Poppy and Alexandros were extremely helpful and accommodating - thank you for a lovely stay.

Desiree was an impeccable accommodation. The place was everything we could have dreamed of and more…location, decor & special touches were top notch. The host Maria was responsive, and her helper Manousos was the nicest man who met us to provide the keys and showed us the place. We loved that this place also comes with parking. Maria’s mom had put together 3 containers of her chicken and potatoes for my family upon arrival. We were also treated with a bottle of wine, snacks, fruits, and bottled water. A water gun was left for our son. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chania.

This is an exceptional house in a really fun neighborhood. Just outside the most touristy areas, so it felt great to go ”home”. Tassos was a responsive and helpful host.

We stayed at this location for 9 days and the apartment is great exactly as shown in the pictures. The road to the parking lot next to the apartment is a challenge but can be done. The view from the balcony is stunning, the pale vultures hovered over the mountains which I found a beautiful sight. The only downside I found in the evening after eating downstairs in the village the steep road up. But this may also be due to our condition. Communication with the managers was perfect within a few minutes we got an answer to any questions.

We had a fantastic stay in Michalis's lovely corner suite. It was cozy, unique, and had everything we needed, plus nice extras like a washer, a second bathroom and street parking (just do an extra lap around the block). The location was ideal, with traditional windows opening to a garden and ruins, and it was a short walk to everything while being away from the Old City crowds. Michalis was an amazing host—very responsive, provided great local tips, and even took time to offer us coffee and chat. He’s definitely one of the best hosts I've ever met. I highly recommend this place and a stay with Michalis!!

Clean and spacious accommodation on many levels set down from the road- so lots of steps to consider. Set at the top of a breathtakingly beautiful valley overlooking the town and sea nearby and snow capped mountains opposite. Pool was well used and the jacuzzi was a bonus. Comfy beds and a choice of 3 terraces all with shade or sunshine. Traffic noise can echo up the valley at busier times. Local villages and walks from the door are stunning - good beaches nearby and only 50 mins by car from Chania airport. Car necessary to get to town to shop and local amenities. Travel light - there is a washing machine and plenty of towels. Provision of bathroom products, tea, coffee enough for first day. Bring own beach towels. Double glazing excellent for peaceful nights sleep and shutters keep house cool during hot sunny days. Good value for money and our excellent host was superbly responsive after unexpected storm damage.

We had a wonderful week staying in Michalis’ apartment. Views from both balconies from Apartment Two were spectacular, panoramic of the Amari Valley and Mount Ida still snow capped in the background. The apartment was immaculate and suited our needs very well. Any additional requests were dealt with swiftly. We mainly catered for ourselves in the morning and had two lovely breakfasts in Michalis’ Taverna. Meronas is a pretty village and enjoyed meals at Taverna’s Alona & Moschovolies. There was great hiking from the doorstep and only a short drive to Patsos Gorge. There is an excellent patisserie and supermarket in Gerikari a short drive away and supermarkets and pharmacy in Agia Fotini, 2.5 km away. We stayed end of April which was great as not too hot to hike but be aware many Taverna’s closed this time of year as off season. Would highly recommend a stay at Michalis’ apartments, another unforgettable holiday for us!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Mary and Christos’ place. Out of all of the Airbnb’s we have stayed at, this was the most carefully thought out, with every room in the house being well equipped for your needs. It’s new, immaculately clean, and is centrally located, with an amazing view. As hosts, Mary and Christos had many great local recommendations and were very responsive and proactive with communication. Thank you Mary and Christos, you both exude and exemplify the essence of Greek hospitality.

Had a lovely stay at Elina's beautiful home. Town is just walking distance away, and there are plenty of restaurants around the area - close to the bus station too! Apartment is spacious, and has all the amenities you might need; Elina was a great host, and gave many helpful recommendations of what to do and see around the area. Would definitely stay again - thank you!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

The apartment, its location, and the hosts’ hospitality are simply impressive. The room had everything we needed - even sun hats, beach towels, and slippers. A separate crib was provided for our son. The apartment also came with a juicer, toaster, coffee machine, coffee, tea, and plenty of food. However, the place is better suited for couples without small children. Our 1-year-4-month-old son constantly wanted to go up and down the stairs (which isn’t very safe) or out onto the balcony. Still, he managed to enjoy the beautiful views and woke up saying ‘wooow.’ 😁 The water at the beach is perfect for small children and peaceful relaxation. We had a wonderful vacation! Nearby, we discovered a lovely restaurant called Halepa with incredible sunsets and delicious seafood - highly recommended.

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

The flat was perfect, especially if you have a rental car. It was a great base to explore Crete, enjoy the proximity from Chania, and come back home by the end of the day. It's very spacious and has a home feeling, very well equipped, extra clean. We were even able to cook some nice food in the oven. Definitely worth a stay, keep in mind it is not in the city center though.
