It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! We had an exceptional stay at Tasos. The apartment is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos, with a breathtaking view of the sea that literally takes your breath away. The private jacuzzi is a real plus, offering incomparable moments of relaxation. The apartment is perfectly equipped, everything is thought of for your comfort. In addition, you are less than a 10-minute walk from Agia Beach and the best restaurants in the area, ideal for enjoying the area. Tasos is a very attentive and responsive host, who does everything to make your stay absolutely perfect. You can book without so much so so, you won't be disappointed. P.S. Don't forget to feed the little cat of the residence, he is absolutely adorable. 😉

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

What a wonderful house! We were surprised to be so close to 2 lovely beaches, great hikes and a delicious restaurant. We’re a family with 3 young kids and they loved the swing, swinging bench, jacuzzi, space to play inside. Dimitris left a baby crib, high chair, and toddler potty for us which was super helpful. The best was Dimitris was very kind upon greeting us late at night when we arrived.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

The place was spotless, comfortable and very well cared for – but what really made the difference was the staff. We had a perfect stay at Dimitra’s beautiful house. She was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. The house is spotless and has all the amenities you need. The location is peaceful and secluded but also easy to get to nearby restaurants and beaches. We wished we could spend the whole summer here!

Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! Loved this villa and hope to be back sometime in the future. It is just like the pictures. Ideal for the beach and restaurants as no need for a car. Host was very accommodating and let us leave our cases in the villa as we had a late flight.

A lovely stay in this gorgeous flat in the centre of Heraklion. Super close to everything in the City Centre, including the Archaeological Museum and the bus to Knossos Palace. The flat itself was charming and spotless, with a lovely little outdoor patio area. And the hosts were so helpful, really went above and beyond to help us out and make sure there were plenty of recommendations for our stay. If we come back to Heraklion, we'll definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

Retro Gaming Paradise – A Perfect Stay! We had an amazing time at this apartment! The place was a nostalgic dream for any retro gaming fan—fully stocked with classic consoles like the N64, Dreamcast, Game Boys, and more! along with a great selection of games. It was the perfect setup to unwind and relive some childhood favorites. The space itself was beautifully designed—clean, cozy, and super aesthetic, with thoughtful touches that really gave it character. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies each night. The location was also ideal—close to everything - center , food places, shops, beach , with easy access to local attractions. On top of all that, George is a fantastic host : friendly, responsive, and full of excellent local recommendations that really added to the experience!! Highly recommend this spot for gamers or anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay!

Getting into the apartment was easy, Alkis had sent us photos for the lock box which was an easy guide to follow. During our stay Alkis gave us restaurant recommendations and went out of his way to order us taxis as well. The apartment was in a brilliant location, 1 minute walk to the beach and an array of restaurants. There is also a convenience store 1 min away, a bakery 2 mins away and then more restaurants plus a supermarket 5 mins away in the opposite direction of the beach. Inside the apartment you have everything you need, 2 big bedrooms with all important air con!!! Living room/dining room/kitchen area is big and spacious, again air-conditioning so made it a nice place to chill out and get a break from the sunshine. We had a great stay in the Apartment and already planning to return next year. Thank you Alkis.

Super clean, incredibly well-stocked, brilliant peaceful location on the water, thoughtful and responsive host. What more could you ask for? Our family of five had a wonderful time here and would definitely return. A great home with a terrific host!

A/C can be a bit loud, otherwise amazing place to stay, beautiful view from balciny overlloking the pool, and nice of the sea 😎

As someone who’s constantly traveling for both work and leisure, it’s rare to come across a place where everything is so well thought out that there’s nothing to comment on, in the best way. This is genuinely one of my favorite stays. The location and views are magical and the attention to detail across the property is impressive. The pool and garden were always perfectly maintained and for a mountain spot, it’s not easy to find such clear, bug-free water. The team on site was great, always helpful without being intrusive. The food at the restaurant isn’t fancy but it’s honest, home-cooked, and made with care. Thank you for everything, I’d definitely come back and already started recommending it to friends.

Fantastic view, great terrace, absolutely quiet and plenty of space! Almost every day the mega-friendly cleaning lady (who even took our garbage with her) and the pool attendant came by, towels and bed linen changed every three days, everyone was always helpful and happy to answer our questions. The following were available in the house: Plenty of towels, including some for the loungers outside, coffee, sugar, tea, oil and a few spices, dishwasher tabs, washing powder, dishwashing liquid, dish towels, soap and shower gel, toilet paper and kitchen towels and everything else you need for a vacation.  Several supermarkets and delicious restaurants are easily accessible by car. Plakias has everything you need anyway. Among other things, a cozy nudist beach with loungers and umbrellas!!! Yes, you have to be able to drive if you want to go there. But the road is not a big challenge, but a Greek normal state and nothing that could deter a Crete lover!!!

I could really feel how much love and care the host has put into their home. My stay was very comfortable, and I was able to create some lovely memories. I would warmly recommend this place.

We had a fantastic time at the villa, it’s easily the best villa we’ve ever stayed in. It’s better than the photos - which is a rare thing. The view is amazing and it’s super peaceful. A fan base for exploring beautiful Crete. The owner Giannis met us at the villa and had even bought groceries for us including a lovely bottle of local wine, such a nice touch to start our holiday. He’s really welcoming and had plenty of good recommendations for us. The pool is fantastic and our girls really enjoyed themselves playing. Lake Kourna is a must visit and you’ve a beautiful view of it from the villa. Thanks for a truly memorable stay - We will certainly stay here again.

We had a wonderful week at Filippo's villa. The villa itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, less than a minute walk to lots of great tavernas and cafes, and the beach. Plakias is a great place from which to explore the beautiful surrounding area, beaches, gorges etc. Fillippos was available all the time for help with anything, including advice about the area. I would definitely recommend this villa and Plakias in general.

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.
