I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb. We arrived well before our checkout time, but there was flexibility to leave our bags at the bnb before check in time, which was really convenient and much appreciated. The apartment we stayed in was pristine, really clean, tidy, and spotless. It has a location close to the metro and several bus lines, so it was very easy to get around many parts of DC there. Host can take a while to respond, bus she was always friendly and helpful.

Carl's place is in a great location - easy to get around to all of the sites! Carl is very communicative and I had no problem getting in or getting answers to any questions. One thing to note is that the mattress really is firm (I read that in the info but underestimated how hard it would be). Other than that, you can't go wrong with a stay at Carl's!

Fabulous place with very easy check in. Super cute and clean and the location is perfect for visitors to dc who are walking and exploring neighborhoods. Only 2 complaints. First, I asked a question during my stay that never got answered. More importantly, for a few hours on two of the mornings I was there there was a maid cart taking up the entire elevator. Luckily this was not here when I was checking out but it is very rude to take over the elevator for hours. If someone with a mobility aid needed the elevator they would not be able to use it as there was barely space to squeeze in one person. Also people checking out would have to carry their luggage down multiple flights of stairs.
