Cabin holiday rentals in Mount Princeton Hot Springs

The home was in great shape and had everything we were expecting. We looked forward to a weekend away in a private and remote space. Overall we were very satisfied. I would caution anyone that there are cameras around the house exterior and it felt like we were being watched at all times. That became especially clear when someone came by the house to do work outside on Saturday morning, unannounced. They didn't disturb us, but it was just strange to come to the space when we had the home reserved. That just made us a bit uncomfortable. Also note that the door lock code is set for exactly the check in time. We commuted to the house from Denver, which is about a 2 hr drive and ended up showing up 10 min before check in. We had to sit in our car and wait for the code to reset to get in. It's a minor thing, but having like a 15-30 min grace period would be real hospitality.

Mark & Nancy were on top of everything before we got to the cabin. From vehicle recommendations to all of the info we needed to get in. The airbnb was stocked with everything we needed along with fun card and board games to keep everyone entertained. One couple on the trip even got engaged at the top of the hill right by the airbnb with the beautiful mountains in the background! 10/10 would recommend.

An absolute gem. Beautiful 360 degree views with all the comforts of home. Perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate after a big day hiking, biking, or paddling the Arkansas River. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Due to low competition and a decent price point compared to competition this place does well. I would rate it 3-4 stars based on just the mere location. The rating goes to 4-5 with the view you don’t get in Denver and the hot tub. Negatives- right off the highway so your heart rate goes up entering and leaving. There’s no shampoo just some cheap dollar store soap which I guess you can use for shampoo. Up to you.. bring your own if you want. Not really a tranquille mountain getaway as there’s a cabin infront of your nice Mountain View(not shown in the photos) and the sound of the highway outside. Positives- Hot tub with nice Mountain View’s, which make you forget about the highway noise and hopefully you fill it with good conversation with whoever you’re with. The prairie dogs scurrying around out back are cute. Conclusion- I have to say the hot tub saved it. Keep the hot tub maintained and people will be happy.

Bernedette’s cabin was such a nice stay in Buena Vista! Located very close to town and the hot springs, yet feels isolated surrounded by nature and the mountains. Our family really enjoyed the stay, using the hot tub, kitchen for cooking dinner, and tv for movie nights. I recommend to anyone looking for a close to town, cabin stay in Buena Vista!

The views are better than the pictures! I was very impressed. The house is very comfortable and there was plenty of space. The outside deck was where we spent a lot of time and it was huge! I really enjoyed hiking around the ranch as it felt like a private national park. There was a trail made that circled the ranch and it brought you to several scenic overlooks. I will definitely come back and will recommend to all friends and family! Wish I didn’t have to go home!

The place was great! Kitchen fully stocked, 2 sofas and a wood burning stove, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, The down stairs has full size bunk beds, full bathroom, 3 couches, TV, Bumper Pool Table, Air Hockey and tons of board games, access to the yard in the back among the Aspens. Great place for kids/teens to share. The kids loved having their "own" space to enjoy! Hot tub had an issue, which Russ informed me about before arriving, even offering another location if that was a game changer. We opted to stay here anyway, and we were able to get it running for the adults to enjoy! Great views of the mountains, wildlife, walking trails. Very relaxing place. My 10 year old grand asked me if we come back, can we please stay at this cabin again, because the kids had their own place!

This place was thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated. There are so many cute spots to relax and the river is right there wherever you choose. The hottub was amazing with 2 reclining seats. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay. Great hosts. This is their second home, fully equipped. If you stay here please treat it as your own. Location is quiet, with an amazing view & close proximity to Buena Vista for shopping, hiking, water sports. Lotsa room for a big family, or 2 couples and kids. I had it all to myself for 7 nights. Kids room has bunk beds. Wifi was plenty fast with the living room smart Tv and surround sound system. Plenty of parking for several cars with easy access on county maintained dirt roads.

This cabin is wonderful!!! It was cozy and clean. Everything you need is provided. I look forward to renting here again if we are in the area.

Cute little place, close to adventure. A little closer to the highway than we thought so have to keep the dogs on the leash but it was clean, cozy, and the river access was wonderful. Overall great stay!

The stay was fantastic! Esther was able to get us in for a last minute weekend getaway. The expansive views from both floors were an amazing way to spend meals and morning coffee. Would stay again!

2nd visit here. Wonderful place to unplug! Beware: door handle will open from inside while it is locked - I did manage to lock myself out! Thank God I had my truck keys in my hand or I would’ve been sunk. Once I got down to Pitkin, Tony was quick to help me out with a spare key at 10:00pm in the middle of nowhere! I slept really great that night knowing I could’ve been sleeping in my truck! I would recommend Tony hiding a key somewhere or switching to a keypad lock (or even a lock that won’t let you open the door from the inside while it’s locked). Great stay in spite of a nerve-wrecking drive down to Pitkin one evening hoping I could reach Tony. Thankfully it all worked out. Also - FYI - the drive from the Pitkin side is not as rocky as the drive from Tincup. Definitely recommend going up from Pitkin if you can.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay. The place may be small but it’s perfect for a solo traveler, and the attention to detail made it feel so worthwhile. Everything is thoughtfully cleaned and all basic needs provided for, and then some. Bettina is a great host and very responsive. Twin Lakes is a dream I’m already wishing I’d stayed longer.

Eagle Vista is an absolute gem. The pictures provided with the listing do their best to try and capture the grandeur of the setting, but it's even better than advertised. John is a great host and makes sure that you'll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Beds are comfortable, showers are hot, and the woodstove keeps the place nice and cozy. We'll certainly be back if we're in the area again.

My family stayed at the cabin for Christmas and loved our time there. Getting there was easy because of the clear directions provided. We maxed out the capacity between adults, a 1 year old and 2 dogs but the lofted master and open 3rd floor loft weren’t an issue since we were all awake at the same time. The main floor was perfect - we cooked all our meals there, ate together at the dining table and all hung out comfortably in the living room, they even had a tree & garland up for the holidays which was nice. A few things to note if planning to cook, the dishwasher is in rough shape and doesn’t clean all the way so we had to hand wash dishes when we arrived as well as throughout the stay. The freezer doesn’t quite stay cold so we had ice cream & ice cubes that melted. Overall it was a beautiful area and communication with Barb & David was great, they were so responsive before, during & after. We’re so happy we chose to stay here & made such fun memories as a family.

My sibings and I, three of us ranging in age between 76 and 82, spend three nights at Julian's Hacienda BV, in mid June 2025. This 3 bedroom house has a spacious kitchen with a pub level table just steps from the stove, for in kitchen meals, seating 6. The living room couch and TV are close to the kitchen, making it possible to cook, eat, and converse while keeping an eye on the programming, if desired. We really should have spent more time on the patio, but it was only 10 minutes into town, and only 15 minutes to Cottonwood Hot Springs. Cottonwood is a very rustic, friendly, informal place to enjoy the mineral waters ... definitely not your high end Hilton environment, but clean and unique. Near Cottonwood, we toured the new hot springs called Charlotte's. This facility opened in 2024, and features a gigantic greenhouse, with a waterfall, and resident parrots and iguana. Traversing the greenhouse, one finds three beautiful, concrete pools that could easily accommodate 8 or more

House was just as pictured. Clean, comfortable, private. Excellent amenities. We love it!!! Hope we get the opportunity to stay there again. Amber was so welcoming, and helpful.

When you think of a secluded and peaceful cabin, this immediately comes to mind! We were provided such a cozy and spacious stay with beautiful views of the mountains out in the distance along with bright moon and stars at night! Overall, such a great stay and we hope to be back the next time out! Only downside of the stay (if I were to have any) would be just that the furniture is a bit outdated/worn out and the distance from civilization (nothing crazy but about 25 minutes from the closest store so come prepared for those who aren’t used to it!)

La Dolce Vita Ranch is a perfect getaway destination. It almost felt like the photos didn't give this place enough justice, because it was bigger and prettier in person. The ranch offers farm products such as meat, eggs, homemade Italian breakfast items -- don't miss your chance to try them. I went home with 2 dozens of eggs and frozen beef cuts, and I can't be any happier! There are very cute dogs that live (and work!) on the property - say hi to Aspen!

We truly enjoyed the home. It was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the shape of the house, very unique. The location was perfect for traveling to Vail and Leadville.

An awesome cabin right next to plenty of outdoor activities for you. Host was great, and it was a perfect way to spend an anniversary

Beautiful home! Words cannot describe the peace my family felt here! The view was beautiful! Will definitely return when visiting Colorado!
