TAKIO 3 guesthouse

HaoxuanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very classic Japanese homestay, beautifully decorated.Although it is a bit far from the city center, it is in a residential area. When you walk from the B&B to the station, you can see other Japanese-style houses, which is very atmospheric. The price is actually about the same as the hotel in the city center, the main thing is the experience. The host Makoto is very nice, pick up and drop off for check-in and check-out, and will introduce the facilities around the homestay when you check in.We tried the Osakayaki he recommended, and it was quite delicious. There are also different activities every month, and if you catch up, you can join guests from different countries.

It was a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast plates were very cute and the meal itself was very delicious. The room was beautifully cleaned and clean. We had condiments in the kitchen which was helpful when we were able to cook.I used it with 12 adults and children, but there were two toilets and a shower room, so I was able to use it without crowding. The bathtub would have been better. What the kids especially liked was the lovely bunk bed.We also have a lot of history books, and we'd love to read more next time. Last but not least, we appreciated the thoughtfulness of us until we got out of the car.Next time, I want to stay at a place to stay.

BIO_005 - Compact yet bold. Like a tree house -

AbtinRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Location was great. not so much to do around the house but 2 min easy walk to station. House is beautiful, feels amazing and it’s obvious that the owner is into interior design. I enjoyed this place more than all of my other 5 stays in Japan. If I want to be nitpicky, the wifi was not good. That’s it!

Mitsuo’s place was so peaceful and felt special for our first night in Japan. Also very reasonably priced. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Traditional tatami Japanese style

YuechenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The owner and the room are very good, and the yard is also very beautiful.Very happy to experience a traditional Japanese room. The check-in information was like handwritten, very thoughtful, and there was a name tag at the door.I tasted the fruit tea made by the hostess☺️ and she asked if she needed to send me to the station the next day.The house is downhill under another smaller entrance of Koizumi Shrine, and the surroundings are quiet. It was raining on the way there. At first, I walked to the main gate of the shrine (actually, I could just walk through the shrine), but I met a very kind grandfather who searched the map and sent me to the door. I was really lucky.I found a delicious restaurant nearby.

Japanese-style charm with convenienttransportation

JusticeRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This townhome was ideal for our group of 7 traveling around the Kansai region. The open common area gave us plenty of space to gather and plan our daily adventures to Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, and throughout Osaka. The location couldn’t have been better - being right next to the main train station made all our day trips incredibly convenient and saved us so much time getting around. The property itself was well-maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only minor note is that it can get a bit noisy at night due to the central location, but it’s really not bad and the convenience of being so close to transportation far outweighs this small consideration. Would definitely recommend this place to other groups looking for a well-located base to explore Osaka and the surrounding areas. The host was great and the space worked perfectly for our needs!

Overlooking the Yoshino River! You can enjoy BBQ in the sunset and garden.Limited to one group per day!

千里Rating, 5 stars5 days ago
It was a very nice old house that felt nostalgic, like the game "My Summer Vacation" that was popular in the past! It has a veranda, a BBQ in the garden, and a large living room. As a Japanese, it was a very relaxing inn that reset my mind. There is a full range of appliances and kitchenware, and the bedroom on the 2nd floor is clean. Personally, I would have been very happy if the bathroom had a bathtub, but the room was so nice that I didn't mind. (Because it was sweaty in June and the surrounding hot spring facilities closed at 18:00) Three important points to note for those who are reading this review. ① You cannot drive directly to the front entrance. The parking lot is far away, so you can't park sideways. ② You will need to walk a short distance from the parking lot to the inn and climb a hill, so if you have a large amount of luggage, you will need to divide it into multiple trips. ③ Please be careful if you have weak legs, as the stairs to the 2nd floor have a steep angle with a high step height, which is unique to old private houses. I would like to visit Yoshino again next time.

private traditional garden/free shuttle service

SamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a magical place. Pictures don’t do it justice. The property was beautiful and the room was a peaceful getaway in itself. With the electric bike you can ride up to the end of the road and hike up to the temple which was beautiful. Miko and her staff were fantastic. One day she gave me a ride personally for a hike and an hour later it started to rain. I was prepared to walk all the way back, but she reached out to me herself and asked if I needed a ride , which I took, but I deeply appreciate it that she took initiative and make sure I was taken care of.
