House holiday rentals in Mount Gretna

Stunning property, the house and pool were incredible. Loved the peacefulness of the property and the surrounding amenities….. it felt like home!!!

Beautiful home and very clean!! Fully stocked kitchen, nice linens and beds. Convenient to all attractions and Abigail is very accommodating and kind! Horses came to greet us most times in early morning and evenings which was a nice treat. Also can see the Amish horse and buggies from the house. This awesome home is located on a main highway so if a light sleeper make sure to bring a sound machine or fan. We did fine and would book with Abigail again!

We LOVED everything about this place. It was such a short drive into our favorite part of town. Beautiful to wake up in the morning and have coffee on the front porch. We stayed on a hot weekend so having the pool was fantastic. My girls loved being able to swim in between exploring Gettysburg. And my two year old especially loved getting to talk about the cows. Our best Gettysburg stay yet!

This place was a wonderful gem! Right away you walk in and just feel so at peace. The hosts have done an amazing job at making the home welcoming, useable, and beautiful. They obviously can't control the birds but man were they just so nice to listen to all day. just wanted to sit on the back porch all day and listen to nature. The pool and hot tub were very clean. Instructions for various things in the the house were clear. Everything felt spotless! Anytime we had a question they were super quick to respond. We had the pleasure to meet them both at different times and are so thankful we did. They were so lovely and friendly. We appreciated their recommendations for the area as well. We stayed for two nights but definitely wish it was longer. Our kids (10 & 12) want us to go back next year! We stayed here from Canada as we came to attend the Sights and Sound theater. Definitely would recommend to others. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Our Honey Brook stay was brief but worth it. The house, yard, and surrounding town was beautiful. Chris and Claudia early on were very helpful with recommendations. When it was getting to be close to the time of our vaca their instructions were clear and well timed. I look forward to staying here again, hopefully for longer next time.

The Red Door Retreat was awesome!! The place was clean and beautiful. There is so many things to do without leaving the house. My dog loved it too :) I will definitely be back.

Absolutely Wonderful! Loved the beautiful property-especially in the mornings watching the birds. They have several different bird houses so many different species of birds to watch. Peaceful to have coffee and morning devotions. Several deer to great us each evening up the long and beautiful road to the house. Away from the busy areas for peace and quiet. However, close enough to area locations. Our Son & Wife’s Wedding Venue and Hershey Attractions. We did get to meet Tim and his Wife during our week of Wedding Celebrations. They were kind enough to let us have our kids stop over and other relatives visit. They were so hospitable and such a kind couple! Everything was perfect! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home! We look forward to booking this property again.

We stayed at Elmer’s place for only one night. But it was definitely worth it and will be coming back for a longer period of time next time. We haven’t had the chance to use the firepit since it was raining. However, all the other amenities were well-kept and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Elmer is very nice and responsive host. We visited one of the restaurants she recommended (Agapē), everything was so delicious. I’d definitely recommend this place for a getaway.

This was a wonderful place to stay. I miss the porch already! Kelsey was a super great host! She was quick to respond and very gracious. Everything we could have needed was in the house. The kitchen was clean, bedrooms comfortable and windows everywhere to enjoy the perfection of Mr. Gretna! I appreciated the blinds in every bedroom, plantation shutters throughout the downstairs, ceiling fans and toys for the kids. It was so nice to have parking on site and be in a larger house plenty far away from the neighbors. We enjoyed walking around in all the neighborhoods and getting to come back to this nice house. My kids loved the loft. I would stay here again!

Miranda and Chad were fantastic hosts! So happy we found this gem for our stay. Super easy and responsive. They left a great list of recommendations and even left us some sweet treats upon arrival. We truly appreciate how clean and welcoming their getaway was for us.

Really you will NOT be disappointed! The most beautiful little gem with everything you need. Everything you need provided and newly renovated. High end kitchen and blend of rustic charm with modern feel. Definitely walkable for someone with a cane with railings on both sides of front and back entrance. For sleeping upstairs, only one railing on the left as you’re going up with fairly step steps. For my spouse who had a brain aneurysm and has a non- gripping left hand, we brought along a special cane for stairs and that allowed him to ascend without issue. Accessible walk in shower upstairs, lovely balcony and porches with ample chairs, throws, and hassocks.Close enough to Tabernacle to hear concerts from the porch. One spot to park in back and once you get the hang of where to enter and the teeny tiny foot paths and road in, you can make it in and out fine. Bring your smallest car and make sure you get in and out very early for groceries if there’s an event. Fab hosts w/ lots of tips!

Had a family vacation to visit Hershey Park and this was perfect for our needs. Paula was flexible when we changed the date of reservation and was communicative through out the stay. The boys loved the basketball hoop!

We enjoyed our honeymoon stay at the Lazzaro's curated farmhouse reno in the misty Appalachian hills. We enjoyed looking off the veranda into the deer-filled woods, unplugging and enjoying time without any kind of botheration. The master bed was amazingly comfortable, the rooms combined a timeless aesthetic with modern amenities, and the immense kitchen/dining space with nespresso and modern cooktops surprised and delighted us. Added bonus: we truly enjoyed watching the story of how this house came together on the HBO show Two's Company Design. Love seeing how you intentionally designed this masterfully comfortable home. We continue to go back to this house because it’s impeccable, the hosts are super friendly, and it is where we come for peace and quiet! I can’t say enough about this house. It’s got a great homey feeling and has everything we need for a fantastic getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at Holly’s place! The house was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Every little detail was thoughtfully prepared to make us feel at home—from the comfortable beds to the well-stocked kitchen. Holly was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and super helpful throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Dana’s home was absolutely beautiful. Not only were they super accommodating, the home itself is beautiful and the history it holds is something to treasure! A very memorable stay- highly recommended for anyone in the area! My son was in awe of their farm animals!

Cassandra is a very responsive and responsible host. One thing that they had that stood out to me was the notebook next to the door that encouraged guesses to share their comments and recommendations. Some of the recommendations were very useful. Cassandra is a very open-minded and thoughful host and I will definitely go back to her place when I am going to Hershey, PA.

Kyle’s place was very nice and perfect for our stay. They did a great job decorating the home. He was very responsive and even shared several local spots to visit for breakfast, lunch and dinner which I appreciated.

From the start, Jordan was an excellent host—clear instructions, incredibly fast and responsive communication, and made everything seamless. The view from the property was absolutely stunning—honestly even better than the photos! The space itself was large and welcoming, with super comfy couches and spacious rooms with big, comfortable beds. The kitchen was a standout: beautiful, fully stocked with dishes, cups, coffee, and even a smart fridge. We especially loved the wireless chargers around the house—such a thoughtful touch. The dock was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings, and waking up here was truly a treat. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Our family enjoyed our weekend at the farmhouse. The place was beautiful inside and out. The view was lovely. Jarius was so nice to greet us upon arrival with helpful information. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, what a nice peaceful place to spend quality time together in the large open kitchen living and dining area. Back patio was perfect for relaxing and looking at the view.
