Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mount Dora

We booked this trip on a whim just to get away for a few days. We had a great stay that was very comfortable and convenient to the entire town. The bed and linens were so soft and made for a restful nights sleep. It is pet friendly but kept super clean. It was hard to tell any animals may have been there before. The bathroom areas are a bit snug, but this is an older house in the historic district, so the space was utilized well for the purpose of the rental. We enjoyed the peace and serenity to recharge, feeling right at home the whole time. Kitchen was very well equipped with coffee, tea, condiments, and ice, so we had all the extras that are often missing at other rentals.

Home is in a quiet area with lots of privacy. Exactly as shown. Very clean and the Hosts are very responsive. We would stay again.

House, yard and pool were exactly what what we were looking for! Thank you to our hosts!

We loved this little place! Would recommend for anyone looking to get away from the busy side of Florida to check out our natural beauty!

Stephen was an amazing host, I had a great time and even was able to use his kayaks to go around the lake. He was helpful, kind, and a great person to talk to :) When you sit on the back porch there’s little critters running around and the sunset view is gorgeous. There’s a grocery store that’s only 4 minutes away and a cute little lake beach called Eaton’s Beach. I would stay here again anytime :)

We had a great time at this cottage. The house was very comfortable and in a great location. On the second day we were there, we found out about Freebee, those cute little electric carts that ferry people around the mt dora historical area for FREE! We just walked for 30 seconds over to the public parking lot next to eden abbey and got picked up and dropped off there, using the app. And then we didn't have to sweat our butts off walking into and out of Mt Dora Historic area (LOL).

Had an amazing time with my family here. The cottage was so cute and charming. The home was cozy and well equipped. They even had a charcoal grill which was perfect. Every detail felt thoroughly curated, from the confy beds to decor. The kitchen, impressed. Most importantly, the location. Not to far from all the greats shops, restaurants, lakes and springs. Highly recommend this place as i will definitely come back again. Thank you

Probably the best Airbnb experience I’ve had! The home is well appointed and so homey. I felt like I was at a family members home! The decor gives a vintage feel but not in an old or stale way. The attention to detail in the decor was great! Although there was a lot of decor it was spotless! Plenty of dishes, utensils and tools in the kitchen. Loads of quality towels! My favorite part were the screened porches. We were there for just a short time but I enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the mornings. There is also a cute game room - we didn’t get to use it but would have if we had had more time. I travel to the area once or twice each year and I hope to grab this place next time!

This was my 2nd stay because I enjoyed the 1st stay so much. I love the location, walkable to downtown Sanford. Always responsive to messages. Very clean and secure. I would recommend if your Central Florida travels bring you to downtown Sanford.

Great host very proactive

The person in charge very attentive and willing to help in whatever is necessary flexible and very accessible entrance. Very clean place, super clean pool and very cosy place. Very quiet neighborhood.

Upon check in, there were a few hiccups, nothing major, but I brought it to Jaycelle's attention and she was so quick to respond and went above and beyond to make things right. I have never had someone take care of us the way she did, her kindness is out of this world. She is a fantastic host and she really made our stay special. Not to mention, the place is extremely cozy and cute, it has everything you need for a nice trip! (and the bed is super comfy best sleep of my life)

This was our third stay with Leah, and like the other two times we really enjoyed the apartment! Close to the amusement parks, great restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed including products you might’ve forgot or even snacks to enjoy. We truly do find this apartment comfortable and peaceful, we can’t wait to come again soon!

Very nice historical home to stay in. Felt like I was stepping back into time in a very comfortable setting. It’s very close and convenient to all the happenings down in Mt Dora and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend staying at Peter and Lisa’s home.

I hate to leave such a great review because I love this place and want it all to myself 😁 All joking aside this is one of my favorite places to stay in Clermont. Stocked with everything needed, great location, quiet. Cant wait to come back

It was a private little getaway from the city where you got to experience a little bit of farm life. We got fresh eggs from their chickens in the morning for breakfast, which was as delicious as can be, and goats milk from their goats which we helped milk! We loved the donkey and their adorable dog as well. Kathy and Mike were also amazing hosts who answered all of our curious farm questions and made sure our stay was something to remember. Definitely was worth a visit and we will for sure visit True Trail Farms again!

There's a reason why Rafaela's place has a diamond next to it as a gem. It's in a great location close to all Disney parks, the rooms are decorated just like the photos with Moana and Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story), and there are a lot of thoughtful touches like the wireless charging pads in the bedrooms. The water park was a lot of fun and very walkable too. Whether you want to stay and play at the water park, go to the gym, or use it as a home base for a Disney adventure, there's a lot to like about the space. The beds were comfy too!

From the moment my family arrived, everything about Brittany's place exceeded everyone's expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made check-in and check-out seamless. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet close to great restaurants, shops, and attractions. Every detail, from the cozy linens to the well-equipped kitchen, was just right. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality Airbnb experience. Laura’s place was wonderful for my husband and I. It was our first time to Kissimmee. It is a very short distance from the parks and attractions. It was also close to quality restaurants and convenient gas stations. Laura’s studio was clean and represented what was expected from the photos. This is a very cozy location with pool and hot tub. Laundry and snacks were easily accessible. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and the price was in our budget!

Stayed at Celso’s apartment for 2-weeks. It was a great size for 2 people and an ideal location for those looking to do the Disney and Universal parks. Apartment is just a short drive away from plenty of shops, restaurants and fast food places. It also has a 24h petrol (gas) station just outside of the complex which is really convenient. Overall, really enjoyed our stay the complex is really nice and feels very welcoming. Would highly recommend for two people. Celso was a great host, super responsive to any messages and helpful with any questions we had during our stay. One minor downside, not to the fault of Celso or his apartment, but the complex had a nesting hawk during our stay. This was no issue for 95% of our stay, but did swoop at us once. Would advise being cautious when walking to the car park, especially with young children.

Me and my family had a great experience with Fonti. Beautiful place and lots to do around the area. I will absolutely be staying again with my family on our next trip to Florida!

Very conveniently located near the Disney resort by driving distance. Easy access via keypad entry and located inside a gated community, away from the noise you typically may expect from a resort town. Price is a bargain when compared to other brand name resort hotels nearby going for thousands per night, with minimal amenities. Will be returning.

We enjoyed our stay at Ryan’s place! The place was pristine and just as pictured. I loved the extra towels, blankets, and stocked coffee station. Ryan was communicative (without being annoying) and was extremely accommodating! We didn’t use the shuttle service for the parks, since we had a vehicle, so I can’t comment on that. My kids enjoyed late night swims after days at Universal Studios and Epic Universe, which were both about a 20-minute drive from the place. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who will be visiting Disney or Universal Studios!

We had an amazing stay! The place was perfect in every way; perfect location and easy to get to…as we used Uber a lot. Close to all the Disney parks and Disney Springs….less than 15 min Uber. There is a Starbucks next to the building which was awesome. Nicoleta is a fantastic host, replies right away and gave us wonderful restaurant suggestions. Communication was great and she is very attentive. Again, very impressed with the place. All the amenities you need and very comfortable and clean. Was also a huge bonus to have 2 bathrooms.
