Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mount Buller

Fire + Ice was a lovely, clean, cosy home and had everything we needed for our new year weekend getaway. We went during the summer months and the Delatite river is just a stone's throw away and the kids had a great time there. The firepit at the house was also a favourite of everyone. Caroline and Duncan were amazing hosts and communication was always prompt, friendly and clear. Will be a great spot for winter as the place is only a 15 minute drive away from Mt.Buller.

nice house, less than 1hr drive to Mt.Buller and close to Lake Eildon. The studio access is separate from main house and would be good for family groups and couples.

My friends and I had a great stay at Sarah’s place. The house is massive and comfortably fits a large group. The views were lovely and Sarah was great to communicate with.

We had the most amazing time at this Airbnb, everything was exactly as described and even better in person. The place was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Would 100% recommend to anyone and would love to stay again. We walked in the front door to WOW views 😯 The house is a great design, with a parents retreat on one side and the other bedrooms on the other side. All the furniture is great quality and super comfortable. The location is amazing if you're looking for somewhere peaceful and immersed in nature. We spotted deer nearby every day, a couple of roos and incredible bird life. There is a great walk from the mill site which is just off the main road, a short way down towards Mt Buller. Mt Buller is gorgeous even without snow and we loved the solitude of the Summit Nature walk and spectacular views. Leith was a super responsive and friendly host and was quick to rectify a few minor issues we encountered. Can't recommend highly enough!

Absolutely loved my stay here. Such a beautiful space and right in the centre of town. Close to lots of places to eat and shops plus just a short drive to many of the local wineries. Will definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable base for our cycling trips on the Great Victorian Rail trail. Good location, very walkable distance to shopping strip (and eating places etc.). Bath came in handy for post-ride aches! Lots of TVs, though you need to download Netflix etc. onto your own devices. Fridge is a little loud (cycles on and off), though the place itself is very quiet with only soft bird-song. Lots of heating in house (we didn't use the split-system cooler, as the weather wasn't hot at all when we were there).

We spent the weekend at Stephanie’s place and it was wonderful! Everything was so well thought of, immaculate presentation and perfect location. Perfect winter getaway!!

We loved our stay. It is a beautiful, peaceful spot and excellent location. The apartment is extremely spacious, clean and well appointed. Emma is an excellent host and provided all the information we needed about the property and things to do in Bright. We hope to be back next year!

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

Very cool and cosy space. Would definitely stay again. Walking into Beechworth very easy (downhill). Coming back either good exercise or cheap with Indigo taxi's. Outdoor space wasn't private as there are other people who could see you - but there was no one around so felt private :) Extra handy to not have to use our own Netflix account and remember how to sign in and out etc. It's a small thing but just made our evening more relaxing, so thank you!

The property was beautiful! Very peaceful getaway and lots to do in the towns around the area. The house was really clean, and the bath was a great addition 🙂

We had the most wonderful stay. Everything was just perfect we had 8 people staying over the weekend and it still felt like so much space for everyone. The place its self is just out of town, and it's very peaceful but close enough to be in town in minutes or only a short ride away. The views from the house were stunning and the house its self had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend away. I could not recommend this place more, I think we will be back again for sure, Thanks for having us!

Beautiful location, easy to find, close to town but far enough out to be peaceful. So thoughtfully set up and absolutely more stunning than the pictures. Stayed with a group of friends and we had an absolute divine time. Enough space for everyone to hang out and plenty of everything we needed for a gorgeous weekend.

Loved staying at Hide & Seek. We will be back!!! We had a family weekend away for our Mum’s 70th and it couldn’t have gone better. No one wanted to leave! Tony and Nedra are amazing hosts and go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Boat rides, riverside fire pits, trampolines, kayaks, tennis court and rope swings across the river… this place has it all.

The place is great, very clean and Steve is a great host. Steve is extremey responsive and considerate. The house is very close to nature and we really enjoyed the spa specially our son. The only thing that could be improvide is the kitchen and its preparedness to host guests who plan to cook for exemple having more utensilis.

Beautiful home and setting that is close to near by towns and attractions…will be coming back in the future 😊
