Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mount Buller

It was such a perfect little spot, nestled into the bush with lots of space to roam… but close enough to Bright to gather the essentials. And right on the doorstep of Mount Buffalo National Park!

Andrews place was amazing we had a great time exploring around the vic high country and always had a warm dry and comfortable place to come back to.

Villacostalotta was just what we all needed for a wonderfully relaxing weekend away with a couple of girlfriends. The house was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the listing described. Shona left a basket of goodies which we demolished with glee! She’s a very thoughtful host. Beds and doonas were comfy, towels were beautifully fluffy, the rainshower shower head was fantastic and the log fire was divine on the cold nights when we each snuggled in the blankets provided on the couch. Thoroughly recommend Villacostalotta if you need somewhere to stay in the area. (The local White Hart pub makes a fantastic meal and the staff there are just lovely, too!)

Such a beautiful home, the perfect space for a retreat

Eric couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Their starter kitchen breakfast was perfect and delicious. The house was spotlessly clean, and the bedding extremely comfortable. We’d flown over from Scotland, so comfort was important. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay. The accomodation was cosy and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The outdoor pool area was lovely with a brilliant view over the lake. We also really liked the easy access to Harry’s cafe from the back of the complex, for a morning coffee and croissant.

Our second stay at this charming cottage in Bright was as wonderful as the first. Peaceful, relaxing and just a short walk to town. We feel refreshed and rejuvenated and will definitely be back.

Very convenient if you’re going skiing to Mt Buller and don’t want to pay 3x the price for a similar apartment in Mt Buller Alpine village. You’re only 25 minutes door to door to the carpark, and a bus takes you from there to the lifts. The apartment is simple and has everything you need. The surroundings are just breathtaking. Very peaceful area.

Without question, our favourite place we've been in Australia. Absolutely stunning views, a beautiful atmosphere, romantic, quiet, private, comfy and classy accommodation - and moments from amazing winery's and food. The cute goats and other animals are adorable and abundant. Whether you want to gaze at the plentiful stars on a clear ngiht, cosy by the log fires or walk up the hill for some spectacular views - its all there. As for Marty, the host - he's the cherry on top. Friendly, kind and an incredible person. Genuinely, you can't find anything better than this. I cannot put into words how beautiful Moosehead Lodge is. Matt and Rachel have gone above and beyond to create a space that is peaceful and comfortable, and the effort shows the second you pull into the driveway. If you're after a getaway to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself and loved ones, this is the place to come to. The beds are comfortable, the fireplace is warm and the nature surrounding is heaven. The house guide was an awesome way to know everything you need to know. And the recipes were such a nice touch! Thank you again for such a beautiful stay! P.S. the woodfire pizza oven is incredible!!

We had a great few days at this cute little cabin. Our toddler loved feeding the chickens on the property. The fire made it so warm and cosy and Robert had set it up all ready for our arrival which was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a little country getaway. Loved our stay. Everything matched the description. Beautifully styled and felt right at home. The river at the bottom of the property is spectacular and really adds to the overall charm. Saw local Kangaroos and Deer down by the river. Bed was comfy, heating with the electric heater was ample and plenty of firewood on hand for the Coonarra fire. An easy 20min drive into town. Felixa was really responsive to any questions and helpful. There’s no TV but that’s mentioned in the description. There’s plenty of games etc to keep you occupied. Wi-Fi worked fine.

Jeanne provided clean, comfortable, and welcoming space for Us. It was very enjoyable experience and peaceful location and homeowner’s responsiveness is appreciated, It's truly feels like home with all the necessary stuff were there. We had an amazing little getaway at theTimber Top Lodge. The little hut was cozy and beautifully furnished. It had everything you need and more, from games and DVDs, to kitchen condiments and bath salts for the japanese bath. The bath was definitely a highlight, it was just amazing to soak in the hot water after a day out. The fireplace was great too and kept us warm and tosty, the beds were super comfortable and the house was overall very clean and spacious. Another big highlight was the balcony where you could feed the birds in the morning. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend Michaels and Giselle's place to everyone who wants peace and quiet in a beautiful surrounding. Wifi also worked perfectly and Michael and Giselle regularly checked in on us. There was nothing that we would change, we had a great few days. Thanks so much!

Fabulous place to stay with extended family and friends. Enough space for everyone, kitchen was fantastic with lots of utensils, glasses etc. It was a beautiful space that felt instantly welcoming, it was better than the pictures!
