Great place to stay; especially if you have pets. Nice backyard. It was very homey and clean.

We had a great romantic stay here. It’s a small rustic cabin, authentically wooden and aged, but has just the right modern touches. Screens on the windows, vent in the bathroom, remote control lights, stone counters in the kitchen, A/C. Place was clean and tidy, we did see a few rogue insects and webs but difficult to prevent that in the mountains. The spa was a great perk. We loved the lights out there and it felt private despite it being out front. You will see bugs at night though! We also really enjoyed the back patio. We sat out there each morning to drink our coffee and watch the squirrels and blue jays. It was a great escape from city life. Bedroom loft area was so cozy and cute. The most modern part of the cabin as well, and spotless. The bed was pretty cozy. We couldn’t really get the hang of adjusting the firmness of it, but we slept good anyway. Parking is a bit tricky but manageable. The bathroom is quite small, no counter space ladies. Overall a lovely stay for a couple.

This cabin was darling. It had all the amenities. Really clean. The bedrooms were aesthetically pleasing, and the beds were comfy. Located in a quiet neighborhood about a ten minute drive from all the restaurants and shops. I recommend Crestline Cafe for breakfast & Hortencia's at the Cliffhanger located along the highway for authentic Mexican food and stunning views. Toni's Kitchen is another great option for Mexican cuisine, and is right across the street from the beautiful Lake Gregory. I recommend doing the loop trail. A leisurely hour-long walk, and you get a gorgeous view of the lake. They also have other activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking. Jocelyne was very communicative & easy to get in touch with. She also gave detailed instructions on a lot of things especially the hot tub which was the highlight of the visit. I would definitely stay here again. Nice for a quick weekend getaway, and not that far of a drive from LA.

Amy’s place was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway! The home is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly peaceful—exactly what we were looking for. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty to see and do, whether you want to relax or explore. Amy was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Highly recommended.

So if you’re looking to stay in a piece of art in the middle of the desert, this is the place for you. Every piece of furniture accessory light art was all made for this exact spot. I would recommend not going in the hot time as it’s too hot to hike Joshua Tree we didn’t think about that, but I can imagine if you could have a beautiful hike in Joshua tree and come back to the cowboy pool and the spa with the beautiful sky in desert. It would be absolutely a memory. Also, we did not look at the moon and it was a full moon the next day so we did not get to see the beautiful galaxy of stars that we imagined, but it was peaceful so well doneand a special place that we will keep in our memories forever.

We had a great stay! Very kid/family friendly. Had the same toys our toddler had at home to make him feel at ease. The sound machine was such a nice touch and kids plates. My husband and I got to enjoy the patio at night. The neighbors were very friendly walking by, super peaceful. We will definitely be booking another trip, it’s super close to all sort of activities/restaurants/stores. Veryyyy clean!!!!!! The beds were comfy. Thank you for having us!

Tim’s place was decorated cozy. We loved the lights on the fireplace and the little cabin touches. The fire table out on the deck was really nice. The best part was the bedroom opening to the patio and seeing the trees when you wake up. Tim was very responsive. FYI – There are a lot of stairs to get down to the house, but if that doesn’t bother you, it is a nice stay. We would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Whiskey Creek cabin. The views from the main floor are fantastic, and it feels so peaceful and private even if is really close to town. We were so lucky to see Deer passing through the back yard. The cabin is so comfortable and have anything we need. And our little dog was so happy to be there with us and chasing the squirrels. This was the second time we stayed at the Alchemist Retreat! It was even better than the first time. This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at and we will continue to return every year. Jennifer is an amazing host and truly thinks of everything. She will ensure your stay is very smooth and comfortable. This Airbnb holds a special place in our hearts.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin nestled in the evergreens. The place was clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable and easy. The backyard was a literal forest with available hiking trails and the neighbors were very quiet, its was very peaceful. The location is as convenient as you could possibly want, a few minutes drive to lake Big Bear and very close to Big Bear village where you can shop and dine. Most importantly Jake was communicative and responsive. Overall we would highly recommend this place and would gladly return for another stay.

We loved staying at this cabin as it was very peaceful, comfortable and had everything we needed for our weekend away. Had a great fire in the fireplace, enjoyed doing a puzzle, had great meals together and barbecued on the back deck while it rained. The beds were super comfortable! Awesome time, awesome place! This place was nice and cozy, spent the weekend there and we loved it. Near the lake and the plaza so there’s lots to do and shop. The weather was perfect and made the stay so much better Host did a great job on letting me all the details felt well taken care of Had beautiful stay and you will too, 5/5 would recommend to a friend.

We loved it so much we stayed an extra night! It’s such a beautiful area. We enjoyed the amazing views, the hot tub, and birdwatching from the large deck (lots of woodpeckers!). The only downside was there is no microwave in the kitchen. We had a great time- highly recommend!
