Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Motohakone

We loved the house. It’s very cozy, super clean, close to the lake, no insects (at least not during our stay), very pet friendly. We went as a family of 4 with our little dog. We highly recommend it.

Haruo’s place is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with easy access to highways and attractions nearby Yamanashi! The traditional Japanese house with beautiful backyard (with views of the mt Fuji when weather allows) is all you need for a great getaway! Haruo is very friendly and greeted us on arrival and gave us nearby recommendations for places to see and eat! We would definitely be back whenever we visit yamanashi again!

Excellent hospitality for 5 days on New Year's Eve! I also had a 4-year-old daughter, but there was a step table, children's dishes, and there was a trampoline, balls, swings, and badminton in the garden, so I could enjoy it with my family without having any time! My parents were also with me, but there were two bedrooms on the second floor, so the sleeping space was comfortable! There were a lot of citrus fruits in the garden, and it was fun to pick tangerines, and it was delicious.😋 Thank you!

This stay is absolutely perfect. A perfect, beautiful home that’s a literal skip away from the Mt Fuji Welcome Area. The home was perfect and as described and our host was amazing at what he does. He came and picked us up from Fujikawa station and then drove us back when it was time to leave. Please let him come get you if he offers, you’ll need it! He then provided us a tour of the home, perfectly explained all amenities and how to properly use them. Please respect the home, it is very old and he worked very hard on it. We will be booking this home every time we visit Mt. Fuji in the future!

It was a very satisfying stay! Mt. Fuji from the wooden deck is wonderful, and the well-cleaned room is fully equipped, so I was able to relax and unwind. Also, the host responds quickly, so it was helpful to have them respond immediately if I had any problems or questions.

It was a perfect property in every way. A clean mansion and hospitality. Easy check-in, welcome snacks, and water were provided, and I felt the owner's hospitality and warmth. In the kids' space in the garage, each child I was playing the way I liked. The children were relaxing in the Nintendo Switch, the projector, and the indoor kids' space, and the adults were in the dining room, watching the children and preparing meals, and it was also a relaxing space. All necessary tableware and cutlery are available.The condiments in the refrigerator were very helpful. Thanks to the large number of rooms, it was also nice to be able to sleep separately as a family. All rooms were clean and tidy, and I felt the high quality of the cleaning. The rooftop open-air bath is a perfect place to enjoy the starry sky if you turn off the lights. The owner, Taka, communicated very diligently, and the convenience store was about a 10-minute walk away, and the washing machine and dryer were very welcome for families with children.My son, who loves trains, was delighted every time the Izukyu train passed. Once you get used to it, you won't notice the sound of the tracks. I was able to get a good night's sleep. I enjoyed a very relaxing space away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I will definitely use it again. Thank you very much. It's all about it. It's worth more than the price. I'm really glad I chose this place. The owner's honesty felt in every detail.

The host was very helpful with answering our requests on places to visit and how to get there. We took full advantage of the bicycles available by the bnb which were in excellent condition. Although the kitchen was quite small we were able to cook ourselves a dinner meal. The laundry facilities were easy to use A suggestion would be to create a house manual noting how to use appliances (hot plate and toilet) in English. Otherwise we enjoyed our hosts’ enthusiasm and the beautiful setting. The view of Mt Fuji was breathtaking. It’s visible as soon as you walk out their driveway !

Great experience. The house was clean, tidy, pretty, and relatively spacious. Can look right at the Fuji from home. Not very far from the bus station, and there are supermarkets and other restaurants within a 3 minutes walk (the host introduced them to us on the first day; she was very nice!)

The grounds were very spacious, and there were many play equipment for small children to play, which was very good. We also got to meet wild deer! The room was also very clean, spacious, and full of openness. It was unfortunate that it rained on the first day, but I enjoyed it even in the room, and the next day it was sunny, so I was able to play as much as I could outside. There are also many bedrooms and can accommodate large groups, so I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

This place was awesome! Super clean, super cozy, and had everything we needed. But the real star of the show was the bathhouse — absolutely amazing. It felt like having our own little spa right outside the house. We spent every evening soaking and relaxing, and it seriously made the whole trip feel extra special. It was peaceful, private, and just really well done. The host was great too — friendly, quick to respond, and gave clear instructions for everything. If you're looking for a chill, comfortable spot with a little extra something, this is it. Would totally stay here again!

We had a relaxing stay in a very beautiful inn. There was a small child, but they were looking at the children when carrying their luggage, and warm hospitality, such as suggesting a place to make a bed that was considerate of children.Thank you very much.I didn't use it this time, but I can also have a BBQ on the terrace, so I'd love to stay again when it gets warm!

The building and interior were very clean and the hospitality was outstanding. I think many people visit by car, but the entrance is easy to see from the road and there is plenty of parking space. The host responds quickly and politely to questions and messages.Japanese people can feel at ease. There is a private house next door, right next to the premises, visible from the wooden deck, so you need to be a little careful when chatting during BBQ. You may also be slightly bothered by the sound of cars and trucks passing through the adjacent road. Overall very happy with the experience.

This place is amazing, especially after a few days in bustling Tokyo. It felt a little too secluded at first, until we could figure out taxi service. We spent a lot of time in the onset, which was magical, only went out once to the open air museum/to pick up food. We were away a little too long: it’s a great place to rest and read and chill. Good to take a break from eating out as much as well. It could be cleaner in spots but the deck, the hot springs and views are worth it.

I was able to enjoy BBQ and sauna to my heart's content in the great outdoors.

I stayed with my dog for 3 nights and 4 days in GW. On the day of my arrival, Jun was away from work, so my wife greeted me.It was very friendly, friendly, and refreshing from the time we arrived. The cabin was very nice and had everything as pictured. There was a cold day at night, and Jun turned on the fireplace and gave us an easy-to-understand lecture!My husband was happy with the very warm and nice experience. There were many walking trails around the cabin, and it was a really nice place to see Mt. Fuji just a short walk away.It was fun to be able to talk with my wife! We had a very pleasant holiday.Thank you so much! I'd love to go again!
