My family and I absolutely loved this place! It’s exactly like the photos and quite honestly we were blown away with how nice it was. The owners were very responsive and the kids had an absolute blast hanging out in the cabin and the games in the garage were a hit! My wife and I cannot wait to return again very soon! This was by far and away our best vacation experience our family has had yet. 10 out of 10 and this place is most definitely a home run in our book!

Country Sportsmans Paradise! Near Devils Lake!

Apple Maps couldn’t find the address that was provided and took us to the wrong location. After googling the address we did arrive and notice that at the property there is an “S” in front of the numbers and that was not provided to us. It was also stated that there was AC but it was a portable ac unit that we would have had to set up if we wanted to use it and only knew about that after messaging the host. The service was pretty spotty and couldn’t get any tv signal. Thankfully there were a few DVDs provided for us to watch. However, the host was extremely responsive and kind, the home was beautiful and clean and comfy we left a day early only due to the rain that wouldn’t stop. We would stay again if we are out in the area but would be more prepared and bring games and movies!

For me this place has been great. The host went above and beyond. While it isn’t surrounded by activities, everything is within a mile so mostly walkable. But since it’s winter I mostly drive. Parking insights great. The home is charming and I’ll be staying longer because I enjoyed it so much.

My group loved Charlie’s place. It had ample space for me & my girlfriends celebrating our 40th birthdays and an expecting mom. We used the game room, had a fire, and checked out the winery & distillery in town. We brought our bikes & got to check the beautiful scenery nearby. I highly recommend!

A wonderful, relaxing stay! We visited for our annual girls trip and this property was everything and more! There was plenty of space for everyone, beautiful scenery and easy access to the river for kayaking. Meg was extremely responsive and helpful. We’d absolutely return for future stays.
