Cottage holiday rentals in Montpon-Ménestérol

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Nous avions choisi l’appartement de Aude pour sa proximité avec l’autoroute, sans toutefois aucun désagrément sonore, l’environnement est très calme. Nous sommes arrivés plus tard que prévu, aux alentours de 22h mais avons été très bien accueilli ! Le logement était conforme aux photos, facile à trouver et Aude à été très réactive. Le lit parapluie était déjà monté. Bref, une petite escale rapide et reposante sur la route des vacances ! Merci encore

We have just had a jolly spiffing holiday at Petit Grange! Monpazier is of course as beautiful as ever and the beer at Biere De Las Bastide still as quaffable, and all just 5 mins walk away! Petite Grange was perfect for our stay, having ample room to accommodate four adults. Everything you need has been thoughtfully included and all is clean and fresh as you'd expect from top notch hosts. Although we didn't try the pool or hottub (it being out of season) we found the garden and veranda offered both sunshine and shade, along with stunning views and a much-used BBQ, indeed if it wasn't such a beautiful area with much to see we could happily just hang out at Petite Grange - and will definitely return! je crois n'avoir jamais loué un logement aussi propre et quel plaisir ! La maison est conforme à la description et encore mieux que sur les photos. L'équipement de la cuisine est au top. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous et cela n'est pas facile ! Maison au calme mais les commerces sont à 5 minutes en voiture. Nous avons trouvé le jacuzzi agreable pour passer le nouvelle année. Merci à Pauline pour sa disponibilité et son accueil. Sejour en famille reposant et ressourçant. A refaire en été pour cette fois-ci profiter de la piscine.

⸻ Excellent séjour dans ce superbe logement ! L’endroit est particulièrement paisible, parfait pour se reposer et se ressourcer. Le logement est très fonctionnel, bien agencé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Rien ne manque pour passer un séjour agréable, tout est pensé pour le confort des voyageurs. On s’y sent tout de suite comme chez soi. Je recommande vivement ce lieu à toute personne en quête de calme et de sérénité

Excellent séjour dans ce domaine incroyable avec une vue magnifique, un calme apaisant et de nombreuses activités possibles. Nos deux chiens ont été accueillis avec plaisir et ont été les plus heureux avec tout ce terrain loin des routes. Les hôtes ont été très accueillants et très agréables. Les instructions étaient claires. Nous recommandons ce lieu!!

Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij Sofie en Irm. Na een lange autorit kwamen wij erg laat op de avond, in het donker, aan. Desondanks werden wij met veel vriendelijkheid ontvangen door Sofie en zagen wij gelijk: dit is een prachtige plek. De gite is van alle gemakken voorzien, is super schoon en heel mooi ingericht. Het terrein is heel groot, mooi en zeker het verkennen waard. Monpazier is op loopafstand met veel goede restaurants. Sofie en Irm zijn hele lieve hosts. Ze zijn altijd in voor een praatje, geven waardevolle tips, en gaven ons elke paar dagen verse eitjes. Je ziet echt dat zij plezier hebben aan het ontvangen van gasten en het hen naar hun zin maken. Nous avons passé un séjour très ressourçant et cozy malgré la pluie. Nous pouvions utiliser le jacuzzi aussi longtemps que nous le voulions et nous avons été très bien reçus malgré notre réservation dernière minute. Nous reviendrons 😊

The house was really beautiful and had a good size outdoor area which was great for sunbathing and relaxing. Katherine left us a welcome pack which included fresh croissants and bread, orange juice, milk, butter, jam and a very nice bottle of wine! Very much appreciated. Each room has a fan and the shutters keep the house nice and cool. The house is in a quiet location but perfect for exploring the Dordogne and Charente. A car is a must.

A really lovely place surrounded by vineyards and with easy access to local towns. Bordeaux is a 90 min drive through some charming villages. I brought my dog and she loved the fenced garden. She loved Jonathan too! In fact, both Jonathan and Lesley are the most welcoming, considerate, generous and helpful of hosts. I stayed for a few weeks and would return in a heartbeat.

Logement parfait, pleins d'équipements pour de la bonne cuisine ;) Jardin et super terrasse panoramique, la rivière tout près et les échanges avec Dorothée très faciles tout le long du séjour. Super !

A lovely private old cottage on beautiful grounds with a swimming pool. The cottage is fenced in, so the dog can run free in the garden. It has everything you need and is nice and cool on hot summer days. Patrick was so welcoming. We loved our stay here.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end. Une maison très confortable, au calme, avec beaucoup d'espace, et un hôte vraiment gentil. Je recommande.

Fiona nous a chaleureusement accueilli. Elle a sué de montrer disponible et flexible sur l’entrée et le départ. Le cadre-jardin est sublime. Un endroit paisible pour se reposer. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir l’année prochaine.

Superbe accueil de Fanny et Nicolas ! Nous avons été charmés par l'environnement, la maison, le son de l'eau dans la rivière, les chevaux... De nombreux équipements pour partager des jeux ! Nous avons tous été séduits par ce lieu ! Merci Fanny et Nicolas.

Une belle maison avec un magnifique extérieur, très bien pour se reposer quelques jours et profiter des visites à faire autours. Sylvie est réactive et très agréable, mes attentes sont largement atteintes.

Karen and Steve were great hosts. Very helpful and informative but at the same time discreet and unimposing. The little gite was lovely, very homely with a really comfy bed. It was within easy reach of towns such as Montignac, les Eyzies and Sarlet. A great spot for discovering the Dordogne and for relaxing at the end of the day.

Lieve, fijne mensen, Marc en Isabelle. Mooie plek, met liefde onderhouden. Jammer dat we vanwege andere reisplannen niet langer konden blijven. We komen zeker nog eens terug!

holiday experience was great from start to finish very helpful hosts and set in a very scenic area which was close to the major attractions in the area whether you wanted to explore grottos or chateaus / castles or scenic towns all were within easy reach. welcomed and shown around the property and shown and explained all we needed to know , the use of bikes - bike path right next to property close to villages of les Eyzies and le Bugue 2 person kayak right next to river Vezere - very relaxing paddle on the river not to be missed out. pool area was great and heated with lovely gardens and lots of areas to sit with your morning coffee badminton net and rackets supplied your own barbecue area and every utensil for barbecue or kitchen was supplied first experience with air bnb and the hosts went above and beyond what we expected very pleased many thanks for having us David & Caroline

Que dire! L'accueil de Katie et Matt est exceptionnel. ils ont été super flexible et ont répondu à tous nos besoins sans même qu'on ai a demander. les petits repas et petits déjeuners sont un vrai plus très appréciable, et c'était délicieux. Un accueil que nous ne sommes pas prêt d'oublier. Nous reviendrons !

Murray andTracy were wonderful hosts who were very welcoming and friendly. They left basic supplies like bread, milk, cheese etc so we had something to eat on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They even invited us to join a group of their friends to a concert in Duras There was a variety of herbs, spices and cooking oils, as well as plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cooking pots so we had everything we could possibly need. The property was tastefully decorated and furnished with lots of pictures so it felt very homely.

A beautiful gite in the French countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The gite is so well equipped with everything you would need. It really did feel like home. Communication and check in/out with clear and easy. Thank you Emmanuelle and family.

The Cottage is very nice. All was very clean and in good condition. The kitchen is also very faboulus, it has all what you need for cooking. We had a good time to slow down. We can Balbina and Didier with this nice place higly recommend .
