Absolutely the best place we've ever stayed. Even better than the pictures, so peaceful and beautiful. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

Very charming and utterly peaceful location.

Had a wonderful stay at this home. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The house is very clean and had great lighting-loved the windows. In a very peaceful area and felt very secure. My husband liked the walking trail. Views were awesome and close enough to Bordeaux to pop in to see the sights.

I rented this home to enjoy some family and friend time away from otherwise hectic French travel. This was perfect! It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend or family member. And, the host recommended a private chef who provided cooking lessons and a birthday luncheon! Unforgettable!! Unlike any other Airbnb property for its charming hosts, the beautiful character of the property and the amenities we enjoyed. Lots of nearby wineries, Bergerac had great charm and food, boat ride on the Dordogne, and more. No one wanted to leave! We hope to return!! Merci beaucoup, Karen & Charlie!!

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

Fabrice is a wonderful host. Friendly, helpful and very caring. The house was beautiful and the views were delicious across the vineyard . We enjoyed his large fridge - and tried his personal wine that won medals for him as the vintner from Montbazillac - well worth the price! Would love to stay again.

Lovely countryside location with a cow pasture right out back. The accommodations were exactly as advertised with a fully equipped kitchen. What we really appreciated was all the maps and brochure from the area. They helped immensely since this was a house hunting expedition. Us and our large dogs were very comfortable.

A very pleasant rental, a clever mix between the fact that you feel at home, and the change of scenery due to the tasteful decor and a very well thought-out layout. The spaces are large. Everything is functional and well-equipped. Benjamin is very welcoming and attentive. The plus for a stay during the holiday season: a beautiful Christmas tree!... just like at home ;-)

Great place for exploring the Dordogne countryside and surrounding areas. The house with a nice outdoor terrace with dining table and seating allowing us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and to listen to the birdsong. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We booked very late and Pauline was very helpful and accommodating of our requirements, and the communication was excellent with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

Our stay here was wonderful. The house is roomy, nicely decorated and quite new. There is a very large laundry with washing machine and drying racks (no dryer), a large kitchen and meals area, two large bedrooms and a large outdoor area. The air conditioning is efficient and there is another air conditioning unit in the loft bedroom. The bedrooms have shutters to keep out the light and the beds and pillows are comfy. The TV is a smart TV and there are wineries everywhere in the area. As others have mentioned, there isn’t a toilet in the upstairs bathroom. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are narrow and steep and this may pose a problem if you need a toilet in the middle of the night. Also, as the apartment is a little remote and has numerous windows at ground level, one may feel exposed. The windows are double glazed and the lock is strong but we closed the driveway gate to feel more secure. It was quiet and peaceful and we loved our stay.

Even better than the pictures! The natural wood and stone were magnificent. The dozems of little details on the property and in each room we're very much appreciated. You can tell that there's a lot of love being poured into this place. super quick support if there's any questions and being able to walk into town within a few minutes or right next door to the pizzeria, and have that little river with a beach is really quite amazing! I'm super hot days the upper bedrooms were a little warmer, but everything remained comfortable. There isn't air conditioning but the thick walls keep it cool.

Thank you for your hospitality, your place had everything we needed including the charm and serenity. The facilities were great however instructions for the TV would have helped and an information pack about the surrounding area, walks, restaurants, villages, coffee shops and super markets etc. obviously chat GPT helped us with this but some people might not be tech savvy. Our 3 nights were were very much enjoyed and although rural, we loved our time here.

Lovely character semi-detached house in beautiful, peaceful garden. Corrine was v helpful and we had a great stay.

The accommodation has been recently renovated. We enjoyed the coolness of the ground floor in the heat. Very comfortable accommodation as a whole. Very friendly and welcoming host.

We had an extraordinary stay at Marie's. She was of rare and valuable kindness and kindness. We even had some explanations about the heritage history of this beautiful home, a perfect weekend. The terraces and views of the Dordogne are absolutely beautiful and the interior spaces are very beautiful and well equipped. We 100% recommend Marie's place and kindness contributed to the success of our event.

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely and cozy house located in a peaceful and quiet area, just an hour from Bordeaux. The house is perfectly equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday with a large family or group. There's a beautiful lake just a short walk from the house, and we’d love to return during the warmer season to fully enjoy some beach time as well. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, providing us with fantastic local recommendations. Thanks to that, we discovered beautiful and interesting places, tasted amazing local delicacies, and enjoyed plenty of excellent wine. Our friendly group of people (and dogs!) had a truly relaxing time, breathing fresh air and enjoying delicious food. Highly recommended — and we hope to be back again soon!
