Farmstay holiday rentals in Monterey County

Perfect location for us while visiting family in the area and attending my Grandma’s 95th birthday celebration all while still feeling like we were on a remote vacation for my own little family. We definitely plan to return!! Thank you Carli and Team!!

This unit was wonderful. The walk to the beach is about two minutes on the wooden walkway. We had a great stay and we hope to be back soon.

This is my second time here; I returned because this place is amazing. I do a Pinnacles trip every year, and it's an easy drive to the park. The hosts are responsive, the place is spotless, and it has every amenity you need. It's fully stocked from coffee to Band Aids to detergent to spring water. Don't bother looking anywhere else!

Had a great stay, Robbie was always responsive, was very clear about what to expect in his description of the place. Was a perfect spot for me and friends to stay while taking a break from a road trip, had fun lovely animals at the property, the goats and alpacas were awesome. Great host would recommend for a simple peaceful getaway from main city.

The ranch house was just what we needed for a quick trip to Pinnacles National Park with a large group. Instructions were clear for check-in and the house was clean. They heated the house prior to our arrival which was a nice touch. Only thing that was a surprise was the location of the beds. We thought that each room had a larger bed and a twin, but that was not the case. One room that 2 twins and a larger bed and the primary had just one bed - just fyi. Everyone had a bed to sleep on so it worked out. The surrounding scenery was beautiful. Great place to stay in a remote area.

We had a great stay at Richard’s ranch. The house is beautiful and the property around match this too. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Richard and his wife were super responsive and went above and beyond helping us navigate getting to and from the house. They are excellent hosts! We were sad to leave and hope to be able to visit again!

The space was cozy, clean, and full of charm. Colette was a fantastic host: warm, welcoming, and always quick to respond. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! Her homemade breakfast was a highlight. The animals on the farm were adorable and we had fun visiting all of them. Looking forward to a future stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pinnacles Country Inn.

The RV was definitely spacious enough for 4 people. We had everything we needed like blankets, kitchen utensils, and shower amenities. We had no issues with the hot water in the shower and found the space very comfortable. Would recommend!

We enjoyed our two-night stay at the cozy Airstream and felt right at home with the dogs, chickens, goats and horses. Although we were busy visiting friends in the area more than onsite, the time we did spend at the Airstream was relaxing and very comfortable. The eggs and coffee were great for breakfast too. Thank you!

This AirBnB was one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. Features breathtaking views overlooking the mountains and a winery, with a spacious and luxurious interior. The kitchen was fantastic, beds were comfortable, and many chairs and tables outside to enjoy the gorgeous views. The location is on a quiet and secluded hill, lending itself to a peaceful getaway. Within walking distance to some fantastic wineries to visit for tastings, and a reasonable drive to Pinnacles National Park. Absolutely would recommend the location.

A perfect location to visit Pinnacles and enjoy the abundance of natural beauty of the valley. Tim and Michelle were great to talk with and learn about the history of the ranch and their family so we felt at home. They were very responsive to the issues we had while visiting their RV. It is an older unit that was clean and spacious, but We did have electrical issues during our stay. They were addressed promptly but could not to immediately resolved so it resulted in our early departure. We were compensated for the inconvenience and felt well cared for during our stay. The other accommodations on the property looked amazing, especially the cabin. Hope to return with family to stay again at this lovely ranch.

Fantastic experience and host. Beautiful, quiet and very serene surroundings. Peaceful atmosphere and relaxing. A great place to be out in the country and reset. Easy and scenic drive to Pinnacles East entrance, approx 45 mins. Beautiful and charming home. Pics represent well. Very clean, great heater and plenty of hot water. Linens and towels all great condition, comfy and cozy. Beds allowed for a good nights sleep. Well stocked kitchen, house well supplied. You must bring in all your food. Plan to cook/grill. The charm of the ranch is its remoteness, so no nearby stores or restaurants. The tap water is filtered and tastes amazing. Mitch is a fantastic host & our stay on his ranch was an experience we won’t soon forget.

This place was magical! We love staying at air bnbs on this road. It’s very private and the forest is so beautiful. The house had everything we needed. It was cozy and overall a great experience.

Me & my partner had a wonderful stay at this lovely place, Judy & her partner were awesome hosts, her partner welcomed us in upon arrival and gave us a lovely tour of the place, we felt so welcomed. The place is nicely thought out, kitchen fully equipped. One of our favourites was doing the fire pit at night, in the lovely garden. The place is great for nature lovers like us, it’s a cute place, perfect for couples. We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Santa Cruz beach, did some salsa dancing on the beach, the place is nearby many attractions, the stay was just perfect and must also say that we will be back again! Thank you for letting us stay at this wonderful place, our get away weekend was delightful. Thank you again

Overall great stay! Owners are very friendly and welcoming into their home. We loved the outdoor kitchen and pool - it was more bang for your buck than hotel rooms in the area and much more privacy. If you're looking for a "family vibe" type stay, this is it. If you're looking for an AirBnb that you don't ever see/talk to the owners, this may not be for you. But the place is clean, has all the amenities, and you can cook full/healthy meals while traveling!

Very quiet, private, peaceful surroundings. A bit far from restaurants and shopping but has a nice countryside appeal to it. Door lock is a bit tricky everything you leave but overall very nice experience with the family.

If you’re planning a trip to Pinnacles National Park, this place is perfect! To beat the crowds and secure parking at the trailheads, we needed to leave by 7 a.m., and the quick 10-minute drive from the Airbnb to the park was ideal. The location itself was absolutely stunning. The home was very well equipped for kids, with bunk beds, games, toys, and kid-friendly plates and cups (which made our stay so much easier). We also enjoyed seeing plenty of wildlife around, both domesticated and wild. Highly recommend for families visiting Pinnacles!

We had a wonderful stay at Joe’s place. I literally drove past the house twice because it was so beautiful I didn’t think it could possibly be an Airbnb. The home was gorgeous with plenty of space to spread out and inviting seating areas. We especially enjoyed the fire table out front in the evenings. Joe and Shannon were so helpful and friendly with local recommendations. And it was super nice to walk to Mission Ranch for dinner a couple nights. (Pro tip, they don’t take reservations, but you can walk in after 3 to get your name on the wait list.) We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful place. Felt like a home away from home. Comfortable layout and nicely decorated. Lots of natural light. Extremely well-equipped kitchen. We had everything we needed to easily cook all our meals. My adult son loved the big screen TV for relaxing at the end of a day of hiking. Very nice private laundry facilities. Beautiful and quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Carmel but still close enough to easily and quickly reach everything. Place looks out on a field and has a nearby stream that you can walk over and relax in the chairs that have been set up. In the early morning, we saw deer right below our window and in the afternoon, there were quail, squirrels, bunnies and all sorts of birds. Plus we loved watching the sun set from the kitchen table. Lots of nearby grocery stores and Carmel is only a 10 minute easy drive away. Super easy check in and check out and our host, Amanda, was very responsive. We loved our stay and would definitely vacation here again.

Great spot, super quiet, and a quick walk to the beach. My only complaint would be for the property management & that is it’s so dark when you’re checking in at night you can’t really see the sign with the unit numbers on them & there isn’t clear directions to get to the unit. Other than that everyone was amazing. 🥲

Beautiful place, with lots to do outdoors. We needed some assistance on the a/c unit the Host/Joanna was very responsive we were very appreciative. The pool was great with a beautiful view, especially at night. My Family Loved the place as well as the privacy we felt right at home. We are looking forward to going back ASAP and can't wait.

We've stayed at BarSZ ranch at their previous location and loved the experience so much we wanted to celebrate again with them in their new spot. The cabin was a great way to spend time with our friends and still be able to walk around the ranch visiting the various animals. Tim was a pleasure to talk to and we really enjoyed the new vision for the ranch. Would recommend anyone wanting to stay for a getaway, reconnecting with nature, or learning more about horse training through their various educational experiences!
