Spacious unit right on the beach. Great view from dining area while enjoying morning coffee. Direct access to beach or boardwalk for walks with the dog. Easy access to all activities in Monterey county. This could become an annual retreat goal.

Sean's cottage is an absolute delight, we moved in as though it was our own home. Worth reading previous reviews mentioning building works next door. As we were prepared for this (they started 8am promptly Mon-Fri), also ants (which didn't show up) and the racoon in the bins (which did show up) none of this was an issue, and was reflected in the reduced rental. Sean was an excellent host, replied speedily to any queries, including calling a plumber for a minor problem. The cottage is the most homely of places, there's everything you could need, the kitchen is generously equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The pretty patio is full of flowers and birds. Since it was April, we were not outside in the evenings, but it seems noise is an issue with neighbours. There are polite but firm notices requesting no outside noise after 9pm which could be difficult on hot summer evenings. This was one of our favourite Airbnbs, the location is fabulous, so much to do, we were busy all the time

Great View and Weather!

This house was absolutely beautiful and in a great location so close to the beach and restaurants! It feels brand new with remodeled bathrooms and a spacious kitchen for cooking. The living room and patio are perfect for groups and spending evenings with the doors open to enjoy the outdoors. We felt very safe and secure in this part of town as well, and the neighbors are very friendly! We would recommend staying here and we hope to be back in the future!

We loved our stay at the Brown Barn! You can tell the care the owner, Rich, puts into the place. Our family loved the pool and foosball tables so much that we didn’t even turn on the TV’s. Beds are very comfy allowing us to sleep great, and the bathroom has a heated floor which was a nice plus. The location is outstanding and we would definitely love to stay here again!

This neighborhood is safe and peaceful. We have stayed at The Dunes numerous times over the last 4 years. Lisa’s home is beautiful and inviting. We all felt very comfortable and relaxed. It is such a gorgeous area and the staff at the front gate is always so helpful too. I had to reach out to Lisa multiple times throughout our stay and each time her responses were quick and respectful. It was a delight to chat with her and we are definitely planning to come back and would rent this home again.

Beautiful location. House is amazing. One afternoon a family of 3 owls were resting on the house roof. We saw a dolpine swim by, courtesy of the excellent binoculars provided by the house owners and lots of wildlife in the really colourful sand dunes. Very happy to recommend.

The photos don't do the location justice. Whale watch from your living room and see the entire Monterey Bay from the beach...you don't have to put your shoes on to get to the beach, you're already here. We came at a lovely warm time and there weren't any other people around. Community has a pool and hot tub that were also great! So thankful to have enjoyed some days here at Blue Diamond. The binoculars and scope really were great for whale watching from the living room. What a cool sight to see a whale breeching while the sun was setting. It only takes 3 minutes to get to Moss Landing, 3 lovely well appointed and comfy beds with buttery soft linens were great place to rest our heads. Thanks again Deb!

Fantastic location and home for a family get-away. Much to see and do on site and in the local area. The home is very comfortable and welcoming with all the amenities you might need and more. Can’t wait to book again!

I stayed here with a few of my bridesmaids while looking for a wholesome weekend getaway near Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea, and this place absolutely exceeded our expectations. The home is nestled in a beautiful, private community that felt safe, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing—perfect for unwinding and bonding before the big day. The views from the property were absolutely stunning. Whether we were sipping coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening, the scenery was breathtaking and added such a magical touch to our stay. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. We also loved how easy it was to get around. Whether we were exploring charming shops and restaurants in Carmel-by-the-Sea or spending time along the coast in Monterey, everything was conveniently close and accessible. This spot was ideal for creating special memories, and I would absolutely recommend it.

Janice’s apartment had gorgeous views and was a short walk to a lovely and walkable beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to make easy meals and the whole place was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

The location is much more private and peaceful than the surrounding area. Basically get your own stretch of beach in an otherwise overpopulated area. The Airbnb is also clean and tidy.

Beautiful stay! It was even better than expected! The host was very responsive and accommodating, the place was clean and very well stocked with everything we could need. We stayed with our toddler and there were even a few games for him in the cabinet. Overall had a great time and will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Ann's place is awesome for exploring Monterey and the surrounding areas. It was great not having to worry about paying to park downtown. Everything you'd want to do is within walking distance, from the beaches to shopping and dining to the Aquarium. Ann was very accommodating and allowed for an earlier check in which was very much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!!

We had an amazing stay at Howard’s Place! Literally steps from the beach. Howard was very communicative and always responded if we reached out to him. The community is also amazing! We had an issue with the blinds not working and they came the next day and fixed them. They provide wheelbarrows for luggage and have a private pond. We would definitely stay here again! We so enjoyed our stay in Pacific Grove! The home was just what we needed-everyone had their own space, the home was clean and comfortable (apart from one short shower-we’re a taller group and had to crouch down a bit), and the surroundings were spectacular. Falling asleep to the soft sounds of sea birds and barking sea lions was a bonus I didn’t know I’d love! The home was in a quiet neighborhood but close to shops, restaurants, and fun activities! Grace was communicative and we really appreciated her binder with all the info we’d need to know to enjoy the home ( this became VERY important to figure out the tv for NBA playoff games)! I loved being able to do laundry which made the return home much more relaxed. Thank you, Grace, sharing this sweet home with us for an unforgettable family vacation!

This was a wonderful beach getaway. The location is very private, but was close for day trips to Santa Cruz and Monterey. The area is beautiful and the beach just a short walk away. The house was great- a perfect size for our family of five. Nicely stocked kitchen with a dishwasher. Bala was very responsive and a helpful host. We loved our getaway to the sea and would highly recommend!
