Holiday rentals with a patio in Montepulciano

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

We had a wonderful time in this fantastically located apartment! The house is wonderfully quiet with a Tuscan postcard view - a real highlight, especially by the pool. After a small start-up hiccup (half as wild and quickly clarified), we got exactly the apartment we had booked - and it absolutely matched the description. The hosts were super warm, helpful and always trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We especially enjoyed the optional Italian breakfast - delicious, lovingly made and with a lot of charm. Perfect location to explore the surroundings, from small villages to larger cities everything was easily accessible. A great place to relax and enjoy - we will be happy to come back!

Unbeatable view! Liana checked in on us multiple times to make sure we didn’t need anything throughout the week. The instruction book was very clear with helpful instructions and great nearby recommendations. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was good, in easy walking distance to plenty of great restaurants and bars for aperitif. It is on the other side of the river from the typical tourist destinations like the David and the Uffizi, but because Florence is so easily walkable, it only took about 20 minutes to walk to any of those areas. This side of the river is definitely quieter, but still has plenty to do (including the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens which are not to be missed)! As far as communication, it was absolutely top notch. We had an issue where the handle on the water faucet in the kitchen broke on Sunday, and the host was extremely quick to respond, and had a plumber out to fix the problem in under an hour. We were shocked and impressed, particularly given it was a weekend. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom. The A/C in the living room is very good, but the bedroom could get a bit hot at night. Still we would return!

We spent two nights at Valentina's place. We appreciated her proactive approach before we arrived and she was very responsive to our messages when we had questions. There was a kitchen that was functional, the bathroom was clean and the terrace was the WOW highlight of our stay. There were 4 adults in the accommodation, which is a little tight, but for 2 nights it was perfect. The sofa bed and the bed were very comfortable and we were even able to do our laundry there. The location is perfect, the view from the terrace is breathtaking and we were able to walk to downtown Florence several times and we enjoyed the grocery store a few steps from the accommodation to stock up. The hosts were very kind and stayed up to let us in after we were late from travel troubles. The place itself was very clean, although I would like to point out a couple of things. Make sure to read the description of the place as you will find that this is not an actual apartment but instead a renovated top floor in the in the villa of the host. In addition, the ceilings are much shorter than they appeared in the pictures with a large percentage of the room being under 1.5m. But if shorter ceilings don't bother you then this is the place for you.

A stunning location hosted by the nicest people! Very communicative and gave perfect instructions to get there. Inside the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. The bed is on the harder side if that suits your preference but plenty of blankets and didn’t even need to touch the heat for a cooler nights. If you are offered a dinner and wine pairing, just say yes immediately. We didn’t know where to set our expectations for that night but it certainly exceeded anything we had in our heads. Overall absolutely fantastic place Sara and Simone have and after you sit outside at sunset you will not want to leave!

Alessandro is a very nice and thoughtful host. The place and the view is great. It has everything you need for your trip (probably best for couples or on your own). Having a car is almost non negotiable but that also makes it very calm and quiet. Groceries and some great ice cream are close by. Can only recommend!

The stay with Andreas and Natchana was very nice, quiet, relaxing and dog-friendly. The fenced garden, which is also protected from wildlife by a pasture fence, not only offers a well-maintained pool, but has everything you need for your needs. There are plenty of different seating/reclining options and a barbecue corner with its own sink. In general, the garden in the evening with its lighting, the lake in the background and the fireflies is an absolute dream ambience. The house is very cozy and furnished to a high standard. There is everything in dishes and spices, so you only have to buy food. Who books this place won't be sorry for you.

Except for the communication being a little disappointing (this can also be communicated through the translator), it was really the best accommodation. I want to give a perfect score to everything from the location to the host. Our honeymoon was perfect because of the fantastic scenery and the warm and considerate kind diva. It's too far, but if I get the chance, I definitely want to come back. We express our respect, gratitude, and admiration to Diva for giving us the best experience. You are truly the best, Diva!

We had an amazing time in Casa San Ripa. The house is even nicer than it looks in the pictures, the view is amazing and the outside area is lovely, with all the lights in the trees at night. The whole property was very clean, including the inside and the pool, the instructions were easy and Giulia is super responsive and extremaly nice and helpful. We had a great stay and would highly recommend!

We had the best week in Nada’s home with our friends who travelled from Australia. The villa was so cute and cosy and had everything you would need. Nada is a great host who was very responsive and extremely friendly, it was just a shame we didn’t get to meet her in person. The main highlight for us was when Viola (Nada’s daughter) came to the villa and did a cooking class with us. It was fantastic and one not to be missed! We made bruschetta, homemade pasta and sauce and a lemon tiramisu. We made pasta and bruschetta literally every night after as it was just so good. From the villa we travelled around in our hire cars and saw the delightful towns/villages such as San Giginano, Certaldo, Siena, Greve in Chianti, climbed up the hill to Montefioralle, Radda in Chianti, Volpaia and the local village of Barberino Val D’Elsa. I highly recommend you visit each as all close enough for a day out it combine a couple in a day. You will not be disappointed at Casa Di Nada. We loved it 😊

We had a wonderful week-long visit. I wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, with modern amenities and appliances but also has some very nice antique furniture and decor. The outdoor patio is really amazing, with views of distant Tuscan hills and farms, olive and cypress trees - a great place to eat and relax outdoors. Nearby Arezzo is a great place to visit. There are many interested museums, churches and places to visit in the older section of the town (including the Basilica di San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca), but there are also more modern parts of town with shops and restaurants, and ample parking. The villa is also within easy driving distance of many other surrounding towns (such as Cortona) and places to visit. Our hosts were super helpful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the olive oil that is provided and made from the trees growing on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home in a more secluded area overlooking Lake Trasimeno. The trains and a highway are below but not invasive. The views are beautiful. The home was clean and tastefully updated but still clearly old and had a lot of character. We did not have a car and the train station is an hour walk away. There are a couple buses that pass through but not enough to be a reliable means of getting to and from the house. Even the taxi was busy and we had to be flexible on when we went to the train station but it worked out fine. We walked to and from Tuoro for groceries and visited La Puntabella for a great dinner with a view. It was an adventure and we enjoyed it despite our plan not being very good for this location. Sonia was patient and helpful in working out our means of travel and figuring out the bus schedule. Natolino reminded us of home and he is fun to watch and listen to.

Room it's just like the pictures, checkin was really good, Lorenzo send all the details in advance. if you arrive to Firenze Santa María Novella you have to walk arround 15 minutes to the appartment. Quiet zone perfect to rest.

Cannot say how happy I was to stay at Ilvas! The apartment was extremely clean and neat, beautifully decorated. The view and quietness were superb and the location was within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Was very quiet and homey. Highly recommend Ilvas place!

Even prior to booking the apartment, the host were very responsive to our questions. Once we booked it, they were very proactive and welcoming us to the apartment. Flexible check-in and they met us at the property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like home. They were very responsive during our trip. Great quiet location. 10 minutes walking to the Domo area. Local area, full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again.

I was a wonderful place, a home for our few days stay. All important things were walkable. Great nearby restaurant recommendations. Host was lovely. Great spot , in a great area . Bakery and really good grocery near by.

Francesco is an excellent host. Podere Cupiano is a fantastic estate. The views are to die for. Sopratutto, the pool is amazing. Montieri is a super cute and friendly town nearby with great restaurants. You should also visit the restaurant at VIN Hotel, a ten minute walk away.

Great communication with host. Wonderful location and apartment. Would definitely stay there again.
