“Where to begin? Montepulciano is a magical city and Erika's studio was the perfect base from which to explore it and the surrounding area for our 4 night stay. Free parking is located just below the apartment. You can easily drive your car to the front door to unload baggage. Studio was exactly as shown in the pictures, clean, modern, everything functioned perfectly. Coffee capsules that were provided were excellent along with nice bath toiletries! Erika was a charming and responsive host with excellent recommendations. We enjoyed (on her recommendation) Aquacheta for the best Fiorentina Steak we had on our trip, Poggio Grande winery for a wonderful afternoon enjoying a beautiful location amongst the sweetest animals and kindest people, and Le Botte Piena in Montefollonico for a gourmand meal with the most amazing wine pairings! This airbnb as hosted by Erika is not to be missed...my husband and recommend it highly!”
A View From the Top is an apartment in the most enchanting, picturesque and peaceful part of Montepulciano. The house is in Via dei grassi, no. 18, 250 metres from the piazza and the main street, and has 2 double rooms, 2 bathrooms with shower and a large kitchen-living room with a small terrace overlooking the hills. The apartment offers a spectacular panoramic view. Guests have the use of a pass that allows them to drive through the restricted area and park close to the apartment
“We were looking for a unique two couple Tuscan home base for three days over the holidays. This was beyond our dreams. First, Montepulciano is still very authentic and not overrun with tourists. The Christmas festival season was very charming. The home was clean and had plenty of room, and was in a great location but off the beaten path. You need to be able to do stairs and inclines. Luca was super accommodating and helpful and the WiFi was superb. It has a dishwasher and washer dryer and all the fixings. The surrounding country views are the best of. any hotel I’ve ever been in. Seriously. Enjoy.”

“As a practical matter, hard to find the road leading to the house ,but once you do , the narrow alley leading to 32( not 32A ) becomes easy. We had trouble getting her on phone via our verizon travelpass, so we waited until 4 pm , when she had the gate open and welcomed us. It is too bad that our communication was limited to to language. She is a very nice lady, preparing home baked goods for our arrival and coming by to offer freshly picked grapes. She made a great effort with her google translator. The apartment is just as it looked in pictures. Big king bed, quite comfortable. Ave controls the heat from upstairs, and on the cold nights she turned it on to keep us warm. The room was stocked with coffeemaker, hot water heater for tea, a small tv , and essentials such as toilet paper and paper towels. The location of the apt is as close to the town center as can be obtained. There were some good eating places on the way too. We drove for a few minutes to a free parking lot on the way and then walked the rest of the way to the gates of Montepulciano. That combination made the walk 5 minutes uphill. If you were very energetic, walking all the way would take 15-20 minutes of uphill walking. All things considered, a nice host, great location, very reasonable price make this a super pick of accommodations for visiting Montepulciano.”
