Between Two Parks

Escape from the crowds and enjoy a real Roman experience in the tranquillity of this minimal, modern flat in a quiet corner nestled into the city's magnificent Aurelian Walls. Clean lines, crisp white walls, and sleek wood and metal finishing create an airy, up-to-date feel. The flat has an open-plan kitchen-living space, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It can accommodate up to three guests plus younger children. We’ve taken a lot of care to try and make sure your stay is as comfy and hassle-free as possible. There are various possible sleeping combinations so please ask if you need a particular arrangement. A child’s cot is available on request. Dogs are welcome and we can provide a dog’s bed. There’s wi-fi and air-conditioning in every room. Appliances include TV-DVD combo, dishwasher, washing machine and almost everything else you might need. The furniture is brand new except when it’s rather old. You can borrow from our collection of guidebooks, cookbooks, novels and DVDs during your stay. I'm very happy to answer any questions to make sure you're making the booking that you want. My friend Pascale usually does check-in and out and she will answer any phone calls during your stay. That said, I'm not far away if needed. I speak English, Italian and French. If you want to write to me in a different language, that’s OK but be aware that I’ll use computer translation to read and write messages—you can help by writing short clear sentences. The flat overlooks the Aurelian Walls with 'Parco delle Mura Aureliane' in one direction and 'Parco degli Scipioni' in the other, both less than 2 minutes’ walk away. Just across the road is the covered market of Piazza Epiro, great for typical fresh local produce. Many major attractions are nearby: the Basilica of San Giovani in Laterano, the Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus and the Colosseum, the Museum of the Walls, the Catacombs, and the beautiful Basilica of St. Stephen in the Round. BUSES 360 to Termini Central Station 628 to Town Centre 218, 360 and 665 to San Giovanni Metro METRO San Giovanni and Piazza Re di Roma are both 10 minutes away on foot. And 218, 360 and 665 buses run from San Giovanni to Piazza Epiro. ON FOOT You can reach a lot of attractions on foot. For example, the Colosseum is about 20 minutes' pleasant walk away. TAXIS The nearest taxi rank is at Piazza Tuscolo a few minutes' walk away. CYCLE You can hire bicycles locally from Info Point Appia Antica, Via Appia Antica, 58. This is a great way to visit the Appia Antica Park. SCOOTER HIRE Hiring a scooter is a great way to get around Rome. There are a couple of places in the centre that specialise in renting to tourists, e.g. BICI & BACI, Via del Viminale, 5. TOURIST TAX INCLUDED EXTRA BEDS We can host a maximum of 3 people over 12 years of age (municipal rules) but extra children are allowed. You can request: - an extra bed for a child under 12 years old (€15/night extra). It’s only needed if the other 3 beds are already occupied. - a child’s cot for a child under 2 years old (no extra charge). Please tell us about your extra needs when you book.

L'appartamento è stato appena ristrutturato con parquet nelle camere da letto, una cucina accessoriata e mobilio nuovissimo. Le camere da letto possono essere entrambe matrimoniali oppure una matrimoniale e l'altra con due letti singoli, a seconda delle esigenze. Su richiesta viene fornito anche una culla per bambini piccoli. Gli ospiti avranno accesso all'intero appartamento Saremo a vostra disposizione per ogni vostra esigenza o anche solamente se avete bisogno di consigli su dove andare a mangiare o cosa fare la sera Via delle Fornaci si trova proprio di fronte al Colonnato di San Pietro, raggiungibile in 5 minuti a piedi. La zona offre vari servizi, tra cui numerosi bar e ristoranti. Proprio di fronte al portone dell'appartamento c'è la fermata del bus n. 64 che dalla Piazza di San Pietro arriva direttamente alla stazione Termini, passando per il Foro Romano e Piazza Venezia. A circa 300 metri, circa 10 minuti, si raggiunge la stazione ferroviaria di Roma San Pietro. Dall'altra parte di Piazza San Pietro, su via Ottaviano, c'è la metropolitana linea A, stazione Ottaviano San Pietro Nell'appartamento è disponibile un tv color e wifi ultraveloce

Die Wohnung liegt in einem ruhigen, gutbürgerlichen Viertel, der Garten ist geradezu paradiesisch. Mit dem Bus (mehrere Linien) ist das Zentrum in 25 Minuten problemlos zu erreichen, die Infrastruktur ringsum ist sehr gut (mehrere Supermärkte, eine Weinhandlung, Reinigung, gute Restaurants, gemütliche Bars, vormittags Obst- und Gemüsemarkt). Das Zweizimmer-Appartment ist für zwei Personen ideal und für einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr gut geeignet. Wir waren drei Wochen dort und haben nichts vermisst. Lia ist eine überaus freundliche, immer ansprechbare Gastgeberin, die sofort da ist, wenn man sie braucht, sich aber auch nie aufdrängt, so dass man nicht das Gefühl hat, als Tourist in einem fremden Land zu sein, sondern sich gleich ganz zu Hause fühlen kann. Wir können Lia uneingeschränkt als Gastgeberin empfehlen und würden bei einer Rückkehr nach Rom jederzeit wieder bei ihr wohnen wollen. Danke für den wundervollen Aufenthalt!

We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend both the apartment and the host. Our check-in was very flexible, which was a huge help since our flight arrived early in the morning. The host arranged a smooth and convenient transportation option from the airport, and after a quick breakfast at a nearby café, he met us and personally escorted us to the apartment. He went above and beyond by providing local recommendations for restaurants and attractions, which really helped us make the most of our visit. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of a few grocery items waiting for us upon arrival. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. Would absolutely stay here again!

Lugar conveniente, es la mejor ubicación con una vista preciosa. Lo recomiendo 100%. Tomar en cuenta que tiene ascensor pero a partir del 2do nivel (es decir, un nivel hay que subirlo con las maletas). Para nosotros no fue un inconveniente ya que traíamos mochilas.

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location is absolutely perfect and within walking distance to all the main attractions. The host was amazing and went above and beyond, even coordinating reliable taxi service to and from the airport. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. One thing to note: if you're over 5'8", the shower and bathroom might feel a bit cramped due to the low ceilings and compact space. However, it’s perfect for anyone under that. Overall, a wonderful experience—I’d definitely stay here again!

Daniela è stata molto disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta. Io, mia moglie e 2 nostri amici abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni, ci siamo sentiti sin da subito come a casa, Daniela ci ha accolto di persona soddisfando in pieno le nostre aspettative. In zona ci sono ristoranti familiari e un supermercato. Per i trasferimenti noi abbiamo utilizzato il bus e la metro senza nessun problema. In cortile è disponibile il posto auto dedicato. Consigliato.

L' appartamento ispecchia descrizione e fotografie: ampio, pulito e ordinato. Dotazioni indicate presenti: non mancava nulla e ci siamo trovati molto bene! Posizione perfetta ad un passo dalla metropolitana e nelle vicinanze bar e supermercati. Per chi ha voglia di camminare una 20ina di minuti, comoda anche per il Vaticano. Host presente e disponibile. Consigliatissimo!

We had another great stay at Sabrina’s apartment - the second time in the last 12 months. It is clean and comfortable- perfect if you plan on staying for more than a few days. Good AC - the temps reached the mid 80s F when we were there - so we needed it. Very central location but not too busy - we walked everywhere. Sabrina is a very helpful host. It is our go to place in Rome and we will be back
